Lucina is always the Top Waifu. Plus some people think her shitty sword allow her to have a more "aggressive" playstyle but I'm 99% sure you could do the same with proper spacing/zoning with Marthy-pan. Either way good luck, and with their frame data you'll need it.

Roy hasn't gotten much results in high-level play yet, but I still stand by my anime husband. Higher tier than Marth at least. As for Lucas, yeah he's not top tier like Ness. Most of the DLC characters (except for Mew2, who is debatably low mid/high low) are considered either low high or high mid iirc. I think Lucas is generally the lowest of the three second-waves. Idk.

No, not like Lucas & Ness actually. Marth is definitively better imo, as proper spacing can lead to higher damage and earlier kills. The only difference between the two is that Lucina doesn't have a tipper (dmg/kb equal along the whole blade as opposed to sweetspots & sourspots) and is marginally shorter. Lucy is easier to do well with tho imo.

You might wonder about my boy Roy. Unlike in Melee, he's Marth But Better. Some might argue otherwise, but to me he's a semi-clone like Lucas. I like to call him the result of a fusion between Marth and Ike. He's a lot faster and stronger, while also falling significantly faster. His sweetspot is instead at the base of the blade, meaning for optimal damage you need to basically punch them in the face. Most of his moves are generally the same (with the exception of what is basically Ike's dair and Roy's own neutral B) albeit with at least slightly different animations/properties. He plays differently and a lot of people consider him clearly superior to the other Weeb Emblem chars. Also worth noting is that a fully-charged neutral b (about 5 secs of charging) from him is either an instant shield break or KO. Like you literally can not survive a full charge unless you defend perfectly. Good thing it takes two years to charge up.

As for Lucas, he is a semi-clone of Ness, while Luce is a full clone. Lucas obvs is very similar to Ness, particularly in his specials, but they all have different properties. PK Fire is a single hit and fires straight forward in midair, so it's not as good of a punish/move in general as Ness's. I personally use it for a careful approach or doing a weird B-reverse thing with it to retreat. PK Freeze is basically Flash but a lot faster and a lot a weaker. It obviously freezes them and you can rack on some damage as they are frozen. PK Magnet is the same except for it's in front of him and has a hitbox. PK Thunder does multiple hits and goes further when launched but does a lot less damage / knockback.

Most of his other moves are pretty much different in some way with the exception of fsmash, uair, fair, dtilt, and jab. Even then they're at least slightly different. Also worth mentioning is that Lucas has a tether grab, which has its own pros and cons, but the primary difference besides range/speed is that he has access to zair, which is him throwing out his little tether in mid-air. It can't grab as you can imagine but it's a quick tool for spacing and poking that most fighters don't have.

Personally, I haven't seen many uber shit players like that. Sure, they're there but I always feel like these uploaders have to be playing a shit tonne to get footage of that many fuckbois.

Speaking of Sm4sh tho, I want to play Marth sometimes, and I try, but he's just... not Roy. Practically everything about Roy is better besides recovery and shield breaking.

Sato managed to get himself back up on to his feet after a while. From the back of the room, he watched the presumed rescue party battle that... that... thing. Bleeding and groaning grotesquely from its malformed body and its puppets, the very sight of it made him nauseous. Was that supposed to be 'him'? Soon, after a few decisive strikes from the group, the shadow seemingly melted away into the air as it returned to its more human form. Back to his face. Sato didn't really need to think about what he needed to say. He knew the truth already.

The teen walked up to the shadow being, stopping a few steps before it. It wore the same kind of cocky grin as it had before, but Sato could feel some kind of melancholy to it now. Perhaps it sensed its end drawing near.

"About what you said earlier, you're not right. Those thoughts, those things you told me... I can't deny that those were my own. I'm not proud of them, and I wish I hadn't ever thought them. But those aren't the only things that define me. I may be selfish, and I may be callous, but I'm more than that. Seeing everyone fight for me today, I realized something. I guess... I had this delusion about myself, thinking that I had to be the best. That I had to push everyone away in case they'd ever drag me down. As cheesy as it sounds, people are strongest when they're with each other..." Sato clutched the dirty bottoms of his mangled uniform coat, knuckles white. The sting of the blows he'd received earlier paled in comparison to this.

"I'm not sure I can repair the bridges I've burned over the past few years, but I can try. It's better than waiting for everything to fall into place like I always have. So that's why you're wrong. Or rather, that's why I was wrong. We're one in the same after all, right?"

The shadow smiled again, this time a pleasant one. Tucking the clipboard under his arm, it quietly clapped for Sato as it began to fade away into a swirl of blue light. Sato watched in wonder as the lights spiraled upwards, transforming into a figure as they rose. A graceful guardian appeared before him, the dull glow it radiated almost calming. As it stood before the teen, words echoed in the back of his mind.

Once the voice had finished, Sato looked back to the light. It began to fade away, a warmth in Sato's chest replacing it. Just as he was about to turn to the others, Sato noticed something was in his hand. A strikingly familiar card had appeared between his finger, but he quickly forgot about it as he looked back at his heroes.

Sato took a few steps towards them, but his vision began to blur again, knees weak. The warmth began to consume him, eyelids slipping shut. After everything that had happened, he felt like he could sleep for a week. Catching himself as he began to fall and lowering his body to the floor gently, he forced out one last sentence. "Thank you, everyone. Thank you, for... everything..."

With that, he was out like a light.

As the arms bled profusely, the puppets began to cry tears of blood, whilst shaking and rattling erratically, arms and legs moving in almost random directions before breaking apart by the joints.

Damn, that gave me a papercut.

Well, as someone that was emotionally traumatized by Undertale, I'd recommend it. Go full Pacifist or you're a sinful child.
