Current Drawing pictures of my characters and mulling over backstories has to be one of the best (and more common) ways to avoid doing homework for me~

Bio

Konnichiwa, tomodachi ;3 You may call me Sephie, as most people do. I am indeed female, and I have a few years experience of roleplaying. I'm an artist, aiming for a professional career somewhere in art, so all of my OC's are a little...imaginative XD let's just say that I gotta draw my own pictures for almost all of them. I like a lot of detail. I'm also a writer at heart, so if I really let loose, some of my replies in a roleplay can get pretty lengthy. I'm a complete fantasy roleplayer, but I like things on the creepy, slightly violent, action-packed, and dramatic side. With some humor added in there too, of course. I love anime and manga, and I am currently learning Japanese through odd methods of self-teaching (mostly anime and vocaloid songs ^w^"). I love cats, and you're gonna see that a lot in my characters. One of my favorite animes is Soul Eater, closely followed by Elfen Lied and Higurashi. I love playing Pokemon as well, and I'm pretty good at it too. I spend most of my days drawing, listening to music, watching stuff on youtube and playing video games (when I'm not smothered in homework, that is.)

Myriatte doesn't bother wasting another word on the stubborn elf-ghost-cook in front of her, staring down past her into the darker depths of the basement. Hearing all the noise, she frowns, looking concerned.
Of course, not for their wellbeing.
"I'm going to miss all the fun..." Myriatte voices her true concern with a huff. She watches Lucas slip past Fred and run down into the basement. By this time, she's had enough, and a wide grin spreads across her face.
"Well, I guess you really aren't wrong. I am a bit like a frog. Why shouldn't I be, as the sole goddess of the Kerokuoni Cult?!" She laughs crazily, then leaps almost impossibly high up for a normal person, much like a frog would. She hops over Fred, landing on one of the middle stairs, and rushes down into the basement. Her grin only gets bigger when she witnesses Minako and Makoto's monster forms.
"Demons...demons of such wonderful, wonderful power! And they've come here!" Myriatte claps her hands together with glee, then holds them out towards the two beasts. "Brethren, I beseech you...join forces with me immediately! Waste no time with these fools, these subordinates, these...these worthless lambs..." Her eyes take on a darker, more pronounced evil...
"Oh no..." Ellysa raises her sword with a glare aimed at Myriatte. "It's the violent froggy sociopath...!"
Minako lets out another screechy roar at being hit by Lucas, and from a lighter pink stripe running down the front of her body, more sharp spines spring out in defense to try and stab the attacking prey. She brings up a set of 8 claws and tries to swing at Lucas. Her attention is lightly caught by the sounds that accompany Makoto's transformation, and Joerose's attack on him.
"Oh dear!" Myriatte gasps as Makoto is sucked into the vortex with Joerose. For the first time in awhile, a deep, deathly scowl crosses Myriatte's face. Her beautiful blueish-green eyes glow bright with fury, as well as transformation. Suddenly, one of her arms is getting larger, and gaining bumpy, frog-like blackish-green skin, along with long claws. She grows a tail of the same color, which looks much like a tadpole's, save for the deadly spikes lining the sides. Myriatte puts on a jagged grin, and outstretches her transformed arm towards the scene.
"MY TADPOLES, YOUR GODDESS COMMANDS THEE! RESCUE OUR BRETHREN! RETURN A SACRIFICE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD, OR DIE INSTEAD!" She cries aloud as two glowing red portals form at either side of her above. They open up, and multiple demon creatures, looking a bit like what Myriatte has started to transform into, but smaller, flood into the basement. The poor souls look as if they could have been human once...
Most of the demon creatures go for Joerose's vortex, trying to claw at the opening to assist Makoto, as their goddess had commanded them. The rest are left to attack whoever looks worth it. Minako's instincts override her powerfully while she watches the creatures flood in. She can contain her hunger no more, and lunges at an unaware minion of Myriatte. After crunching down on it powerfully a few times, Minako swallows the creature whole. She feels a bit better, but not much. She wants more.
Myriatte cares not for this, and only laughs aloud hysterically. "YES! YES! PROVE THAT YOU HAVE EARNED THE PRIVILEGE TO BE A TADPOLE FOR THE GREAT GODDESS MYRIATTE!"
"SHUT UP, YOU FALSE PROPHET!"
Suddenly, Ellysa flies towards Myriatte with her wings, sword in hand and preparing to land a blow. Myriatte turns towards her swiftly, grips the blade with her bare claws, and sends Ellysia face-first into the wall behind her. Myriatte continues to cackle uncontrollably.
"ANGELS ARE USELESS IN JUDGEMENT!" Myriatte raves on as Ellysa scrapes herself back up from the floor. "CORRUPTION LIES EVERYWHERE, EVEN IN THE LIGHTEST OF HEAVENS! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE IT. A HIGHER POWER MUST HELP YOU. I AM THAT HIGHER POWER! I SHALL TURN THE WORLD INTO MY OWN, AND WE SHALL RULE THE DAY, ONE AND THE SAME, TADPOLES AND FROGS MAKING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC UPON LILLY PADS OF HUMAN FLESH AND RIVERS OF WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL BLOOD, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Ellysa is stricken with a deep feeling of dread at the "goddess" and her utter hysteria...it's one of the few times that the angel has ever shown a true look that held any fear in it...

"Mistress Yolani," Abernathy turns to Yolani in the background of the fresh battle taking place, "We should get you out of here and find Negloria."
"Huh, why?" Yolani murmurs, taking Abernathy's hand and letting him lead her through the walls of the basement, back up to the empty ground floor of Lavenshade Mansion. "Did something happen to her...? Something...else...?"
Abernathy gives the young lady a sympathetic, knowing look, showing that he clearly knows something hidden behind her words. "No, no...nothing else. But, I don't want to wait for anything else. When Myriatte gets out of the basement, if she's not successful in getting a sacrifice for herself down there, she'll go after Negloria again. I...don't want to lose her."
"You've always been so kind to Negloria..." Yolani smiles softly, but Abernathy shakes his head as the two start floating up the stairs to find Negloria.
"No, Yolani." Abernathy replies. "...I was talking about not wanting to lose Myriatte."

Up in the nearly-empty attic of the mansion, a lone little girl in a white dress sits in a lonely, bandaged and broken chair, looking out of the top window. She stares unblinkingly at the scenery outside. Slowly, she turns her empty lavender eyes up to the ceiling above her. A noose hangs down from the rafters, and hanging just a few inches from the top of her head is a fluffy pink demon plushie. It's button eyes are black with red middles, and it has two tall ivory horns. It's black cape and arrow-shaped tail hang limp as it sways ever so slightly in the attic air. There's an insignia on the cape, that looks almost like the symbol you'd find on the flag of an evil country or land...
Negloria stares at this plushie for a long time. Both are still and silent as the grave.
Suddenly, Negloria hastens over to a broken picture on the floor, grabbing a blade of glass with her bare hand, and trying to cut her throat with it. Blood is shed all over the picture and wall near it, but it's an unnaturally dark color. A gaping wound is made in her neck, but it only lasts for a few seconds, before her flesh and veins regenerate. She drops the glass, sulking back to her chair to sit down. She hides her tears behind her long black hair...
I AM SO DEAD.
TRUE, BUT IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL WHILE IT LASTED X'D SUCH A TOUCHING MOMENT IN LAVENSHADE HISTORY.
@Snarfulblast X'D LOL, I'm laughing so hard right now. You just...walked right up to this horrific, volatile monster....and punched it. You win ALL THE AWARDS. ALL OF THEM.
On the ground, Minako moves slightly, finding herself feeling rapidly more and more starving. She doesn't understand why, but she knows she's craving something different than regular food. She fades in and out of consciousness, and in the meantime, her new marking on her neck begins to glow bright pink, and it feels like her skin is suddenly aflame. Lines of the glow spread around the rest of her skin like veins, drowning her in the agonizing sensation. She breathes heavily, unaware that she's gotten onto her knees, holding herself up by shaky arms.
"Miss? Miss, are you alright?" Abernathy is alarmed immediately, as he leaves Yolani's side to be at Minako's.
Minako can't reply with anything but sounds of pain, because her body is actually beginning to morph. Her skin becomes tougher, and a magenta color, and her eyes start to go green. With more glowing from her tattoo-like marking, the transformation is complete within a minute, and it's not pleasant. Instead of Minako, a large demon creature stands tall before the others in the basement, made of magenta, red, and russet-colored spikes and spines all around her body. The creature's face has a cat-like appearance, with large teeth and sharp, whisker-like appendages at the cheeks. She has a large pair of hostile-looking green eyes with no pupils, and then a smaller one above the original ones. Two big triangle-shaped appendages crown her head like cat's ears, and a line of curled spikes trails down from the back of her neck to the base of her 3 tails, which are basically 3 huge spider-ish legs, dark red in color. Her hands are two huge paws with 3 gigantic main claws, 4 smaller claws in between, and one claw coming out of the top of the paw itself. Her feet aren't much better, with two huge main claws, 3 smaller ones, and one at the back of each foot, like a raptor's talons.
Abernathy steps back immediately.
"What...w-what is..." Ellysa is more astonished by the sight than frightened, holding her sword close.
Minako lets out what sounds similar to a demon screech combined with a lion's roar at everyone in the basement.

"Frog brain?" Myriatte giggles. She gives up the innocent act around Fred, as she can tell she's with Lucas. "You know, you might want to be more careful about what you say around me...you don't know the kind of power I possess. I'm a goddess. I wonderful, kind goddess who looks after her tadpoles with the utmost care. Of course, to function, I require a sacrificial lamb every now and then...and from your words, it sounds like you're volunteering one of the living ones down there in the basement. Are you sure you want to do that...?"
Suddenly, before she can go on to say anything else, there's a horrific roaring noise from within the basement. Myriatte blinks, then grins wide.
"Oh....well, that's certainly not Yorugiro....how interesting~...." Myriatte laughs a bit creepily.
Minako stifles a cry of agony before there's a sudden change of pressure. Minako and Makoto are no longer being sucked into the center, and are left floating in the darkness where they are. The red glow instead starts to expand and envelop everything, like an exploding star.
"GYORRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Outside, the monster of darkness howls in horrible pain as the red light pierces through it's skin. It explodes in a red flash, dissipates, and leaves Makoto and Minako laying on the floor, with some black wisps still floating around them. Minako's vision is blurry, and she's about to pass out once more, but before she does, she notes a strange feeling within her body, and possibly even her soul. It feels almost like she's famished...
Abernathy wakes up, opening one eye just a bit to check the progress of the battle. He opens both eyes fully upon seeing Makoto and Minako lying on the floor where Yorugiro had once been, as well as the brown-haired ghost in the white dress sitting just a little ways away from them.
"Well, well...maybe you're more than you seem, you living ones....that is, if they're still alive." Abernathy frowns a bit at Minako and Makoto, then walks over to the ghost girl on the ground.
"Yolani, are you alright...?" Abernathy extends his claws to the girl. She looks up at him with soft hazel eyes and the faint start of a smile.
"Yes...for now, yes..." Yolani takes Abernathy's hand, and he helps her up to her feet.
"NYAAAAAAAAAWWWWH...!" Ellysa gives out a loud yawn and stretches as she wakes up. A satisfied grin makes it's way across her face. "Haven't slept that well in a year or so...well, actually, I haven't really slept at all. Ghosts don't sleep, usually..."

Myriatte finds it impossible not to notice how quickly Lucas picked up his cat and walked away from her.
"Oh...okay, bye then..." Myriatte finishes off her performance by feigning sadness at how fast he left her in the middle of their conversation. In her thoughts, however, a very different story is being told...
'Hmph. How rude...but, I suppose it was the cat's fault. She knows I'm not as I seem, and because of that, she has warned her little human-boy companion. No matter, no matter at all. I sense someone better in the basement...and I shall wait to see them. I so dearly want new followers...or more lambs...' Myriatte thinks to herself, a small giggle making it's way out loud as she stands near the stairs down to the basement, waiting for her chance...
Aruba stops traversing the ant tunnel-like passageways in the Revolutioneer base when she gets to a certain door. She looks through the grated window to see if anyone else is inside, but the coast is clear. She slips into the room, lined with rusty cages with different insignias on them, some broken, others warped and rusted as well. They're all recognizable team symbols from the past, Team Rocket, Team Galactic, ect. The Revolutioneers stole them for jailing purposes, but as of now, only two Pokemon are jailed within the cages. No humans now. The last one left just yesterday, and the large bloody handprint on the floor near a cage with its door ajar is evidence. Aruba moves to the second cage from the left side. The creature inside stirs. "Tatakumei..." Aruba whispers. She produces a ball of glowing blue aura in one of her paws to light up a small surrounding area, like a candle. From the cage, a frail-looking Riolu steps forward, clutching at her dirtied, slightly torn red scarf. Despite her shabby appearance, her face is graced with a hopeful smile. "Mom?" The female Riolu grips a rusty metal bar at the from of the cage. "Tatakumei, I have a bit of time now, so I'm going to try again." Aruba steps back a bit, and holds her aura sphere with two paws. She starts charging it up. "Mom, w-wait, you hurt yourself last time!" Tatakumei reminds her mother, looking at the wound on her shoulder. "It'll be fine. I can dodge this time, if my aura isn't strong enough." Aruba insists. She uses almost all the energy she can muster, creating a huge aura blast, and fires it at Tatakumei's cage. the aura attack is blocked just an inch from the cage's bars by a suddenly-visible purple magic barrier. The sphere stretches the barrier, looking as if it might actually break through and destroy the bars this time, but it is then sent back at Aruba with a slingshot effect. She dives out of the way, and it hits the thick stone wall behind her hard enough to leave cracks. "Damn it...!" Aruba growls furiously. "That stupid Mismagius's power...!" "Mom, it's okay..." Tatakumei tries to assure her mother. "I'll be fine for now. Just don't hurt yourself, please." "....Well....at least you have a friend here, right? That little Growlithe-" Aruba starts, looking at the other cage with something inside. "-He's gone." Tatakumei cuts her mother off with a murmur. "...He hasn't moved since last evening...at least, that's what time I think it was..." Aruba is hit in the stomach with a wave of despair and dread. She gets back up to the bars of her daughter's prison and squeezes her paw in to hold her daughter's paw. "Tatakumei, I'm not going to let that happen to you. No mater what I do, I'm not going to leave you here and let you disappear." "I know..." Tatakumei grins softly. "Just keep going, Mom. Remember that you're the best to me, no matter what happens!" Sephie and her Pokemon turn to observe the presence of the strange boy walking around with a tiny Shadow Lugia. Euphoria is the first one to have much of a reaction, suddenly sporting a large, almost frightening grin. "Ooh, new people to play with! Are you a dark type...?" Euphoria takes a step towards Lucas, staring at Zarkju. "Fairies just LOVE dark types~!" "Euphoria, no. Not yet, at least." Sephie scolds, then turns her attention back to Lucas. "Hello there, Lucas. I'm Sephie. This is Pipley, Raven, Sachiko, Euphoria, and Ai-yu." She points to each Pokemon respectively as she says their names. "Team ShadowSnow..." Pipley narrows his eyes at Lucas. "...Sounds almost like Team Flare, or one of those groups. If you're here to try and steal Pokemon, then I suggest you go somewhere else. Preferably 100 miles away or more. Depends." "If he turns out to be bad, can I play then? Huh?!" Euphoria begs Sephie, hopping around with excitement. "Tch, c'mon guys, give this one a chance." Sephie chuckles a bit. "I mean, if he really was here to try and steal a Pokemon, why wouldn't he just do it? Why would someone introduce themselves as part of a criminal team, and then try to steal a Pokemon? That's illogical." "Good point..." Sachiko nods slowly. The trainer girl and her Pokemon are suddenly hit with the sound of a pokeflute from just a little ways away. "Sounds like someone else is in the forest...you think it's a Pokemon?" Raven asks Sephie. "I'm not sure. It's someone, but maybe not a Pokemon. Not sure where a Pokemon would get a pokeflute, or where they'd learn to play it, either..." Sephie shrugs, standing up from her tree stump and stretching. "Wanna check it out, then?" "Wouldn't hurt." Pipley agrees with a faint smile. "Or would it~?" Euphoria giggles, still eyeing Zarkju in an intimidating way... Mystarii and Electricia are still arguing, when suddenly, a berry is snagged from Electricia's paws with a fishing rod. Both pokemon pause for a moment, shocked. They're even more so when another one is suddenly stolen the same way. They both wwhip around to spot the culprit and his Bisharp. "OI! WHY IS THIS FOREST FILLED WITH THIEVES THAT AREN'T ME?!" Mystarii cries aloud. "WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE THE ONLY THEIF?!" Electricia shouts at her friend. "Ugh...I swear, they'd both die if I wasn't here..." Rythian shakes his head at the two squabbling pokemon, then perks up his hears at the sound of a pokeflute nearby. Mystarii and Electricia seem to stop and listen as well. "Someone nearby?" Mystarii purrs curiously. "I wonder if they've got any loot on 'em..." "You should be ashamed! Someone out there is making this beautiful music, and your first thought is to steal from them..." Rythian turns to scold the Meowth. "I'm soooorrrrryyyy, Ry! It's just in my nature!" Mystarii whines. "Same old excuse..." Electricia snickers, earning a glare from Mystarii.
While Felixter and a few of Sephie's other friends continue to watch the battle going on below the hotel carefully, the orange snake from earlier has made its way behind all of them, and has soundlessly transformed back into Numirra. As the group of friends is distracted with concern for their other friends on the field, they are at a disadvantage. Numirra places one foot on the ground in front of the other, and the ground around her glows with faint orange energy. "It's charging right into the battlefield!" Kayori cries in regards to the huge wooden figure on the move. "Should I go try to burn it now?" Ammi growls. Before Felixter can make any kind of statement to either or them, all of them are suddenly grabbed by the ankles by tendrils of orange magic, and electrocuted for a few seconds, until they're dazed. Kayori falls over, while Ammi and Felixter struggle to recover. "W-what was...that...?" Felixter mumbles, shaking his head. "What? This?" Numirra yawns and does the same thing to them again. Nelodine and Nymne nod to Lucas, and watch him leave before turning back to each other to continue their conversation. "You want to help me? B-but...helping me would mean helping Sephie too. There's no way around that." Nelodine frowns slightly. "I'm aware. I have no problem with that for now." Nymne shrugs. "And I never will, if they don't choose to get directly in my way. Honestly, I admire how long they've survived, despite almost every possible factor being against them..." "S-so...what do we do? If our sisters come up here looking for me-" Nelodine starts. "-I'll pull the 'savage' card." Nymne cuts her off with a smirk. "They still think I'm a killer beast who only speaks through animal sounds. I could just attack them in an uncontrollable rampage, right?" "I guess so..." Nelodine nods slowly. Suddenly, both witches are hit with the sounds of the battle outside, specifically the large, hulking wooden beast stomping around, and also the sounds of dangerous electricity from the lobby. "Things are getting rougher now, aren't they...?" Nymne murmurs. "M-maybe we should try to wake up Sephie....um, I-I'm gonna go check on her." Nelodine starts running off in the directiont hat Lucas went. Nymne follows her at a less hurried pace. "W-what?" Nelodine blinks when she finds the door that Sephie and Michael are behind, but sees that the lock has changed drastically, and the door won't open. "What...what is this?" "Looks as if someone altered the door with some sort of magic." Nymne suggests when she arrives at the door. "It won't open without 3 special keys, or so it looks..." "Where do we get them? Are you sure there's no other way?" Nelodine turns to her older sister. "I don't know the answer to those questions, unfortunately, but I know that whoever did this must." Nymne responds. "And if I had to take a guess, I'd say the one responsible is someone out there on the battlefield as we speak..." Though she's trying her best to keep herself in control, Meora finds herself just about to pull the trigger, until her gun is suddenly swiped from her hands. She glances back towards Morgan with a small smile...and then she's suddenly punched, sent hurtling to the ground. She's sure that she passes out, but a second later, she opens her eyes in a dream world of some sort. She's been here before. It has always been a sort of "meeting room" for her, her soul, her conscience, and other parts within her. It looks similar to that of a quaint little Japanese tea room. "Hora..." Meora murmurs. "Konnichiwa, Meora-sama." Meora turns at the sound of her own voice from the other side of the room. A girl identical to her in appearance (besides this girl being much more groomed...) sits peacefully on a pillow at one side of a small table with a tea set. This Meora appears to be wearing a silky, emerald-green kimono with golden details, and a jade green sash. She gestures to the other pillow at the opposite end of the table. The real Meora sits down. "Why am I here again, Maore-sama?" Meora asks her calmer self. "Oh, I just thought you might like to take care of the little disturbance you've been facing here personally." Maore, as she's called, sips from a teacup, then points to a corner of the room. A small lavender-colored nightmare creature of sorts crawls around on the wall, turning it a dirty dark purple. It is undoubtedly the manifestation of Noruani's presence in Meora's mind. "Your weapons are in the other room. The door to the left." Maore is strangely calm and collected despite the monster in the same room with them. "Have at it, Meora-sama." "Hai. Arigatou." Meora grins as she heads away towards the weapon room. "This should be fun..." "Souka." Maore's small smile grows a bit, in a secretive sort of way, "I'm partially here to keep you intact, aren't I...?" And though all of this goes on in her head, in reality, Meora is out cold on the ground temporarily from Srg's punch, only twitching slightly every now and again. Noruani now lies on the ground, still breathing, but utterly exhausted, and unable to move much. She watches the battle continue on with a bit of a smirk still left on her face. She even giggles slightly, but it hurts to. What catches her eye the most is Morgan, as she runs to take cover after taking Meora's weapon away. "...Father......" Noruani pulls a faint, creepy grin. "GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Demon-monster Natasha lets out a horrific screech as she's set ablaze, and immediately starts twisting around in Kiroketsu's grip to try and get away, so she can put herself out. In the meantime, Kiroketsu suddenly finds himself going from laughing like a madman at the burning demon witch in front of him, to tackled over, along with Mirui, away from something big in the distance. He ends up pulling his tongue back away from Natasha in the process, as the monstrously transformed demon witch swoops away in the opposite direction to avoid the tree flying into the battlefield. Mirui looks up at the huge wooden figure chasing after the tree it threw into the battlefield, and screams with fear. "What the hell is THAT?!" Kiroketsu cries, a bit intimidated himself. While letting Mirui cling to his arm, he tries to use his link with Sephie's soul to tap into her thoughts, to check if she's awake. "C-c'mon, Seph! WE NEED YOUR CRAZY MURDEROUS-NESS!" Kiroketsu begs aloud. "HECK YEAH, PARTY TIME!" Amber cheers aloud in agreement. "LET'S GO TAKE OVER AN AMUSEMENT PARK AGAIN!" Clancy suggests with a wide grin. Both of the shadows laugh aloud, giddy with thoughts of their future plans. They turn to Gerose to address his questions. "We don't really have a reason for following you here. We just wanted to see the seeeeecrets that could be hidden!" Amber giggles. "We rode along with Nimika's shadow on the ground there. See?" Clancy points to the witch's shadow. "We can melt into dark places. Including the cracks of the brain. That's how we possess people sometimes!" "As for why we're so much like Karl..." Amber begins. "...We don't know, but we think he's awesome!" Clancy finishes the statement, and both shadows laugh again.

Glad you think so! XD
Well, that's good! Always nice when people have fun ^w^
In the far distance, overlooking the nearby forest and a bit of the towns in the surrounding area, there stands a tall and mighty mountain. It is within this mountain that the Revolutioneers stay, having built their whole base within it's cavernous depths. Right now, a speech from the leader, Montainum, is being held in the grand hall on the stage. His booming voice echoes over the crowd of Revolutioneers at his feet without the use of a microphone. Even if his voice weren't so mighty, you'd still be able to hear him, as none of the Revolutioneers dare talk out of turn in front of the great Terrakion onstage. Coming in a bit late, a Lucario enters in from a side passage, while tightening the knot for her cape, and straightening it over her shoulders to try and cover up a large wound on her right arm. She's come just in time to catch some of Montainum's final words, though it doesn't matter much to her. She's heard all the same before. "...It is for this reason, my fellow Revolutioneers, that we must fight against them! We must not falter in our resolve! These humans know not what power they've been treating so lesser this whole time! They call us 'Pokemon', short for 'Pocket Monsters'. Their views of us as a whole couldn't get more demeaning. In this light, we've never been the monsters. No, it is the humans, or, as I think we should start saying...the 'Humons'. 'Human Monsters'. Let us go on, comrades, and continue our noble fight, whatever the cost!" Montainum ends his speech with a triumphant tone, and the hall erupts into cheers. The Lucario that just walked in watches for a bit, then turns to leave again, until she's suddenly caught by the arm with sharp claws. "Going somewhere, Aruba?" The Lucario turns to see her only slightly-superior teammate, a snide-looking Zoroark with special leather gloves that come with metal claw extensions. She scowls a bit. "What do you want now, Darkclaw? I was just on my way to see what new tasks I needed to do. Thought I'd try and catch the speech, but it seems I came in a little late." Aruba replies. Darkclaw smirks at her, and pulls back her cape to show off the wound on her arm. "Oh? So where were you before? You must've been doing something pretty serious to get a wound like that." Darkclaw grins. "I was doing what everyone else has been doing. Assisting in our daily battle against air-headed, egotistic humans." Aruba jerks her cape away from the Zoroark, putting it back over her shoulders and starting to walk off. "...I'm not that dumb, Aruba." Darkclaw murmurs under the din of the Pokemon-filled hall, just loud enough for Aruba's ears. "Your scent has been recently mixed with metal, anguish,...and Tatakumei." Aruba stops dead in her tracks, and finds herself clenching her fists to keep herself from lashing out at Darkclaw. "...I won't say anything this time, but honestly, you should stop trying to break your little daughter out." Darkclaw, knowing how hard Aruba is trying not to attack him, gets right up to her back, talking right into her ear. "We'll let her out to you when we feel you deserve it. For now, focus on your work, and maybe it'll happen soon. Okay?" ".....Fine." Aruba finds it almost painful to force out that one word, and quickly walks away from Darkclaw before she can hear him laugh. She makes her way through winding passageways in the mountain base, trying to stop her own bitter tears. Meanwhile, In the field route outside of the nearby forest, a sort of odd-looking trainer girl sits on a stray tree stump, surrounded by her own pokemon. She never keeps them in pokeballs, unless she has a reason to restrain them. Sometimes they do get too into their battles...especially the Sylveon at her left, Euphoria. "I haven't seen anyone out here yet...no Revolutioneers, no criminals, no anything..." The girl sighs disappointedly. "Isn't that supposed to be a good thing, Sephie...?" Raven, the sharp figure nested on the ground behind the tree stump, glances back at her. "Good? Yeah, sure. Completely boring? Absolutely without a doubt." Sephie yawns. "She's right. I want to go plaaaayyyyy...." Euphoria whines helplessly, rolling around on the ground. "Your version of play always involves so much unnecessary fright and bloodshed, Euphoria...I honestly prefer you in this kind of state." Pipley, the Delphox standing above all of them, shakes his head with a faint smile while he twirls his wooden magic staff in one paw. "Why do you have to be so meeean, Pipley?" Euphoria huffs at him with a frown. All Pipley does is chuckle. "Hey, Ai-yu, have you gotten any weird feelings?" Sephie looks up at the tiny, shimmering pink Celebi floating idly above her head. "I know you have those psychic visions and all that jazz every now and then, being a time-traveler or whatever..." "You make it sound so very casual..." The pale, misty figure of a shiny Meowstic to Sephie's direct right finally speaks up to join in on the conversation. "Well, I'm pretty used to it. Seems normal to me." Sephie shrugs. "I mean, honestly, Sachiko, I'm not sure how much can really phase me at this point. I've got a murderous death machine dressed up in pink fur and adorable ribbons to my left, a shiny ghost Pokemon to my right, and a shiny Celebi with weird powers floating over my head. And they all speak English." "...Good point..." Sachiko purrs lightly. "OI! What do you think you're doin'?!" "W-wait! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! NO! NOOOOOO!" "Ugh..." In the middle of the forest, a shiny Zoroark is just waking up to the sounds of squabbling just north of his resting place. It's not too uncommon for him, but it certainly is rather annoying. He gets up, and walks towards the noises. He stops to watch the source of the noise, a Pichu in a top hat and cape, fighting against a Meowth with one blue eye and one green eye. What are they fighting over? 3 berries. "THOSE ARE MY PECHA BERRIES! YOU KNOW I FOUND THEM SPECIAL, ELECTRICIA! WHO'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE THIEVING ONE HERE ANYWAY, EH?!" The Meowth cries as she tries to claw the berries away from the sprinting Pichu. "JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A MEOWTH, THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE THE ONLY THIEF AROUND, MYSTARII! AND I WASN'T EVEN TRYING TO STEAL THEM ALL! I ONLY WANTED ONE!" Electricia shouts back. "THEN WHY DID YOU GRAB HALF THE PILE?!" "BECAUSE I WANTED SOME FOR LATER!" "WITHOUT ASKING ME?!" "A PECHA BERRY A DAY GIVES GOOD POKEMON THE ENERGY TO PLAY~!" "OHHHH, YOU LITTLE-" "What in Arceus's name do you think you're doing, fighting over something as simple as berries?" The shiny Zoroark. interrupts them with an unamused look. "I seriously passed about 2 bushes of the things on my way here, and it was a 10-foot walk." "Oh! Awake from your nap already, Rythian?" Electricia grins at the Zoroark. "As if I could continue sleeping with all of the ridiculous noise..." Rythian sighs. "Awh, sorry Ry!" Mystarii frowns at him before turning and hitting Electricia upside the head. "See?! Look what you did!" With a magician's grace, Electricia catches the hat at the last second, and places it gently back atop her head as she replies, "As if it was only me. I wasn't the one who started making a huge outcry over berries! Rythian's right, you know! THEY'RE ALL OVER THE PLACE!" "Then why did you choose to steal MINE?" Mystarii growls. "...Stolen food always tastes better. You know that." Electricia states simply. Rythian sighs once more, putting his face in his paws.
