I was so blown away by the eclipse. I even got to pretend it was entirely hidden here in Michigan, when the clouds covered the peak. :P

Playing around with a Betrayal at House on the Hill roleplay idea.

I am suddenly craving a Star Trek roleplay.

Whisket, you take excellent pictures.
I am going to vote for Nat right now. Not only is he quite suspicious in the story post, his behavior sends up a red flag for me.
Halo said
I'll take your word on it, Andae.Kyle - hopefully we'll all be able to RP at similar times, then! I know Lettie is in California, 8 hours behind us, and I think Sera is in the Midwest, though I may be completely wrong there. I think she's someplace beginning with an M. Hmmm.

Very good! I'm from Michigan. Probably six hours behind or so.
I apologize for the delay in my character. I had hoped to have it finished last night, but I ended up spending that time bringing my hedgehog to the vet. She's sick.
Ah. That's too bad.
Alright. I'm just going to focus on lining up with Japan's time, so I'll be sleeping during the day, I guess.
It really doesn't matter to me. I just wish we could do away with the times. I don't see what purpose they serve.
But my character's town is in a town that is far west enough to be considered CST. The rest of Michigan is EST, except for a handful of western counties. So it is 3:00 am.

This is why I wish we could do away with time zones.
If we have to line our posts up with the one before (for instance, all of our posts need to be lined up because we are both CST), this is going to be really difficult. That means that we will very rarely interact with Japan's characters, and you and I will more or less have to plan our posts around each other. I honestly hate using such specific timelines in my roleplays. It's too restricting. Just because it's 3:00am in your post doesn't necessarily mean my post needs to start at the same time. I only picked that time so I could interact with JST.

I love the idea of doing dreams vs. real life, but I really wish we could do away with the strict timeline and time zones. It will greatly help character interactions.
Yup, the western UP. Just barely CST. To communicate with someone in JST, she had to be 15 hours behind.
Yeah, I think that is meant to bring out the character development. But the time zones do make it hard. Reagan is taking a nap in the middle of the day to interact with another time zone.
