Hello all!
Like many of you, this is the forth introduction post that I have written for the Guild. As it is hopefully my last, I suppose I should actually introduce myself, rather than just posting a Road to El Dorado .gif and moving on.
So I'm Sera. I'm a senior in college, wrapping up my undergraduate studies. I duel-major in political science and secondary education, though I plan to return for a third major in earth sciences. World War II has become my focus area, and wrote my senior thesis on the rehabilitation of young, orphaned Holocaust survivors. I'm also fascinated by the history of Michigan, because nobody talks enough about the Toledo War. I am doing my student teaching at a local middle school, and hope to stay in middle schools, because the age group is so much fun to work with. I shoot for my university's shooting sports team, and play on their polo team as well (horse hockey, not the kind in a pool).
As for roleplaying, I've been doing it for quite some time now. I go back as far as the early days of Horseland and Neopets, so I would estimate about ten years or so. I love it. It has provided me with a creative outlet, but also helped me to meet many fantastic people. On the Guild, I'm a rare Spammer/Roleplayer crossbreed. Best of both worlds.
Originally, I was incredibly disappointed by the collapse of the Guild, only because I felt it could have been avoided. But now that we are starting fresh, I am terribly excited. I look forward to meeting all of you. And please note, while I love the avatar Mahz handed me, I am not nearly as evil as it suggests.
