I don't think I could do it. I enjoy describing things and playing other characters as well as my main character. I think I look at RP as more like collaborative story telling than just playing a singular role.
Now I've moved on to that sort of roleplaying, but I can still see why others would prefer the shorter, fast-paced Free-style.
Yeah, I saw that. How cool.
I used to roleplay using one-liners, because I roleplayed over AIM, MSN, and chat rooms. I really enjoyed it. My best roleplay ever was one of these. Literally, the plot was "I'm Danny Phantom, you're another halfie named Lessa, go." And we each took turns furthering the plot through our posts. The roleplay lasted a couple of years.

I think the concept of Free roleplay is fascinating. Essentially forging a plot as you go along. Its kinda cool, actually.
