I was so blown away by the eclipse. I even got to pretend it was entirely hidden here in Michigan, when the clouds covered the peak. :P

I AM NOT A FEMALEAwe that's my post :3Also I now have 0 votes in my name :)EDIT: I'm debating changing my vote to Nex last minute. Alpha according to squee is getting killed off anyways due to inactivity. So why waste a lynch on him if he's dead anyways?

Because, in a sense, being able to place our lynch on a person being killed already is a gift for us. We aren't risking anything. I know others have voiced that they like the risk, but I hate it. First round lynch votes always feel like a waste to me. The author of the post is never going to be foolish enough to give away the killer, so whatever vote we make is probably wrong. This way, we will get the information we want from Alpha's death without taking the additional hit of killing someone else (who most likely is not the killer).
Please read - this is important.
I have made a fairly dramatic change to the rules.

Players who are dead may no longer post after the story post containing their death is put up. I hate to do this, as it will dwindle our discussion down as the game goes on, but I need to ensure that important information is not leaked. A player may find out who the killer is through their own death, and if they waltz into the discussion just to say "I know x is the killer," we will have a very, very short game. Also, please do not share this sort of information when you're dead over PM either. I can't police that, but try to be a good sport. A lot of people put a lot of time and effort into this game.

Thank you all so much, and sorry for the inconvenience.
No need to apologize. This is actually going to be a pretty laid-back game, and you have quite a few RD superstars playing with you. I know they'll help you learn the ropes.
It's official! The story post is being written! They normally take me from 4-5 hours of straight writing, so please be patient. But it is coming!
All roles are confirmed and all night abilities have been submitted. We are ready to move on! Thank you all for reply to my PMs.

I also wanted to note - I have been approached a couple of times by people asking me to have the voting be public, the way Squee's is. I think that is a fantastic idea. However, it will not work for this particular game. We have a leader, whose votes count for two. It would be easy enough to determine possible leaders if the voting was public. Also, we have abilities that deal directly with the lynch votes, and public voting would make them completely invalid.
Sorry.
Oh dear, I was not nearly this bad when I had mine out.
An update:
Still waiting on one person to confirm. I have work, class, and teaching today, so I will not be able to get the story post up today. Expect it tomorrow morning.
Hope everything is okay, Alt.
