I was so blown away by the eclipse. I even got to pretend it was entirely hidden here in Michigan, when the clouds covered the peak. :P

Which one, the 240B or the M4?

Oh wow, I didn't even notice your M4. Distracted by the 240B.
Some of my favorite Spammers are fairly verbose.
Intelligent conversations happen in Spam all the time.
Spam does have a number of games that call for short posts, so pages and pages of one-liners is not uncommon.
This is a strange thread for this particular debate.

Returning to the gender discussion, I think there are couple of reasons why we see sexism among gamers/geeks/whatever. The men who assumed the only video game I played was the Sims were just idiots, and there is really no excuse for that sort of behavior. But I play a lot of video games, and I've had men react differently when they find out I'm a female. Some refuse to shoot/fight me. Some give me extra ammo/money/items. Some single me out, and spend the entire match trying to kill me. Some do everything that they can to protect me. And other still send me cheesy pickup lines.

So why treat me differently for being a woman? Each reaction could have a different explanation, and these could even differ from person to person. I asked some of the men who gave me things, and they all told me that they worried I would be discriminated against - that the gaming world was tough for girls. The guys who refused to shoot me/insisted on protecting me said the same. One gentleman said his little sister played, and he knew how hard of a time she had. I don't know what to say for the guys who single me out.

A complete removal of sexism will require more than just telling boys to stop being immature. People treat the other sex differently for so many reasons. And men aren't the only ones making this happen. I've played with a lot of women who say things like "don't shoot, I'm a girl," "let me in your guild, I'm a girl," and "please give me ammo, I'm just a helpless girl." It comes from both directions, no doubt.

I don't have a solution. I'm just reflecting.

My computer refused to let me post this for like a week now but here's an update.

That is a pretty, pretty gun. Oh lord.
I'd love to join, if you'll have me! I've also only read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, so please forgive me if some of my lore is incorrect! Also, I hope you don't mind that I've shortened your sheet a bit - I felt a general appearance bit would suffice. Let me know if you'd like me to alter it.

Name: Reagan Anderson
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen
Height: 6'0
Weight: 140
Appearance: The girl stands at 6'0, towering above the majority of the campers, and much of the staff as well. However, she weighs in at only 140 pounds. Though she is tall, she is incredibly lanky. She spent little time doing sports or physical activities, as she preferred tasks that challenged her mind rather than her body. She is in no way "fashion-savvy," and her wardrobe normally consists of fitted blue-jeans and hooded sweatshirts. She has long, straight blonde hair and gray eyes, a trademark of Athena children.

Personality: Not only did Reagan inherit her father's love for knowledge, but also his wit. She will be the first to make a sarcastic comment in an awkward situation. Many times, her humor is appreciated. But sometimes, she will take a joke too far, upsetting a person without really intending to do so. As intelligent as the girl may be, she suffers from raging jealousy. She often tries to make herself feel better by taking on a "holier-than-thou" attitude, as many teenagers have a tendency to do. She is also incredibly competitive. Though she may be rude sometimes, she is fiercely loyal to the few close friends she can count on. Like her godly mother, she would much rather try to settle an argument through discussion than violence. However, as her mother is the goddess of war and strategy, she will fight, or even kill when she deems it necessary. Though she would never admit it, she will always seek to avenge her father's death.
History: Reagan's father, Mark Anderson, was a lawyer from Michigan. His balance of small-town charm and big-city aspirations attracted Athena to the bachelor. Reagan and her father had always had a special bond. He taught her all about mythology from a young age, and always told her that her mother was someone special. However, he was unable to reveal her mother's identity before the monsters found him.
Reagan returned from school to find the front door open wide, and the front window shattered from the inside out. When she entered, she found her father dead on the kitchen floor. In shock, she pulled out her cell phone to call the police. It was then that she noticed the voicemail from her father. "It is time for you to discover who you are, and who your mother is. Go to Half-Blood Hill located at 3.141 Farm Road, in Long Island, New York. There, you will find Camp Half-Blood, and people who will help you. Speak to no one. Be safe. I love you." She fled.
Over the next two weeks, Reagan tried to lay low. After placing an anonymous tip to the police about her father from a pay phone on Ohio, she jumped from bus to bus, slowly moving toward New York. She would not release her final destination to anyone, as her father made it clear that she must keep in a secret. At a bus stop in Pennsylvania, Reagan saw an old woman asking a bus driver if he had seen a young girl named Reagan, with blonde hair and grey eyes. As the woman, who Reagan had no way of knowing was a Fury, went on to describe the girl, Reagan took to the forest, and traveled on foot. She feared that her father's killer was after her. Once she took to the buses again, it was only a matter days before she reached her destination.

I use words because I believe that finding pictures is lazy.

I don't think it's lazy. On the contrary, I think it poses a unique new challenge. Often, I find a picture before I do anything else. Then, using that image, I craft my character. I can base everything off a facial expression, a prop, or an item of clothing in the image. Person has a tattoo or piercing? Tweak their background to explain why. I don't think it is lazy or cheating in any way. It is just a different approach.

To answer your question, OP, I generally use Google or Tumblr.
