North nodded, a little bit nervous at the prospect of meeting the Ulfric. In response to Sasha's offers, she thought "I would like to look around a little first. I think knowing my surroundings might help me relax." The Skoll's first question, however reasonable, somewhat put her out. Her ears lowered in embarrassment as she replied. "I was never really given a name, you see, but I have taken to calling myself 'North', if you need something to address me by." She wondered what the reaction to this statement might be. Would she be questioned further, or would Sasha just become quietly suspicious? She really didn't want to come across as problematic, but she couldn't really help her answer.

"What do you mean by 'meditating'?" she questioned, just registering the last thing she'd been asked.
Sepia, having been actively restraining herself from doing so earlier, jumped at the chance to touch Skyra's cute cat ears. She gently held the end of each one between thumb and forefinger and looked at them, walking behind the other girl as she did so. "I don't see anything unusual. Used any new hair care stuff recently? My ears get a bit irritated if I suddenly change shampoos or conditioners."

Sepia smiled to herself. This group was going to be so much fun, especially the girls!
North perked up at the sight of food, all previous worries pushed to the side in the presence of a relief to her body's most pressing concern. After gingerly sliding off of the couch, she made her way over to the ottoman and dug in ravenously. The fact that it was raw didn't bother her in the slightest, as the few things she'd been able to catch had still been squirming when she'd eaten them. Being picky was no good for someone on the brink of starvation.

When finished, North looked up at Sasha gratefully as she moved closer to the warm fire. Hoping that she could hear her thoughts as well, she replied, "If it's no trouble, I'd like to turn back as soon as possible." As much as she hated her human body, she felt as though something bad might happen if she did not become like her old self presently.
North watched Sasha go quietly, and wondered for the first time why this stranger was going out of her way to help her. The woman obviously already had nothing to gain from her, so why bother with such a useless scrap of fur and bones? This thought struck a sudden chord of fear in North. "The others...what if the rest of her pack isn't as charitable?" She shivered and pressed herself down into the couch. "And if they are, what will I do next? It doesn't seem right to just say 'thank you' to someone for saving your life."

To distract herself, North tried to focus on all of the sounds of technology that she had long since forgotten - and missed, though she would never admit it. If only she knew how to turn back human...
North marveled at the thought of the pack house. She had assumed that wolves, as social creatures, would band together, but not to such a civilized extent. Her only previous experience had led her to believe that werewolves were savages - more beast than human. She shuddered, remembering the cold, cruel beast that had mauled and nearly killed her. There had been no shred of humanity left in it.

As Sasha approached her in her strange new form, North shrank back slightly, unsure of her intentions. When she seemed to be suggesting that North should be carried back to the pack house, North slowly and tentatively obliged. She allowed herself to go limp in the other's arms, relaxing her strained muscles completely for the first time in what seemed like forever. Letting her eyes flutter shut, she let out a soft whine.
Frightened by the sudden words in her mind, North yelped and took a few steps back. As they registered, however, she became considerably calmer. So this woman was friend instead of foe. She sighed, her tired legs shaking from relief as well as exhaustion. In response to Sasha's question, she nodded. Indeed, she must have looked pretty pathetic to gain sympathy like this.

Struggling to think of a way to communicate with the other female, North was tempted to pace, but her body was having none of that. She gave in and slumped into an upright sitting position, resting her back legs at least. "Is she part of a large pack? She must have some way of maintaining herself, as she appears to be in excellent physical condition." North tilted her head, attempting to show her confusion.
North padded slowly through the heavy snow, each pawstep becoming more painful and tired. Her ribs showed plainly through her coat, her eyes were half-lidded, and she moved as though a stiff breeze might bring her down. Panting in effort, the dark sky seemed to swim every time she could manage to lift her head. She'd only been a wolf for about a month, and being solitary during that time had cost her nearly every meal. North knew that the creature who had bitten her had been a werewolf, but she still had no knowledge as to how to return to her human form and was becoming too weak to even attempt at this point.

An unfamiliar scent hit her nose, interrupting her thoughts. Wearily, she looked up and spotted an apparently agitated woman laying down in the snow ahead. North approached her hesitantly, submissive body language coming to her instinctively. She looked at Sasha and wondered if she should perhaps try to run.

@The Muse of Eru

Bumped it up a little over a year. Let me know about any other issues if you find them.

Does breaking the curse involve a romantic relationship, or something more physical? If it's the latter, than I can completely understand why age would be an issue. My character has been a wolf for an extremely short amount of time, and I was planning on having her turn 16 soon anyway, but I can easily make her older if you want.
