Michael goes ahead and puts together a sandwich as he continues speaking to the woman. "Just what does the crescent moon resemble to you? I've seen it on the tents and on the robes of many of your sorcerers..."

"it says here that she was found guilty of desertion and punished... slightly mercifully actually, her skills as a healer are well known so she's most likely fine... in fact that normal punishment would have been to kill her on sight... however it says here she was left in the care of a man and to expect her report on how she arrived to this place on friday" the woman says evenly before putting the paper away and adding "would you mind telling me how your companion conjured his flame? please be detailed as this is for the record and lies in this case are punishable by marking"

"It's his eyes...I'm not sure of the process, but the flames he conjured up are said to be inextinguishable...it's a very advanced fire technique." Michael states, telling the woman as much as he could remember about the flames.
