Kevin opened his eyes and stretched, sitting back up in the bed. It was still nighttime but his rest was never meant to last long. He slipped into a pair of socks, jeans and his boots. A rather thin black shirt with a high collar found home on his torso, loosely fitting his frame. If he was to ever come in contact with that assassin again, he needed to get on the man’s radar, something that would be a slow progress if he hid out at home. That agent, or assassin, had found Kevin with was seemed to be ease once before. If Viper appeared outside, he would no doubt be found again. Good, that was a plan at least.

Sadly, he couldn’t bring his sword into civilised society. He didn’t need it of course as his martial arts was on par with his sword skills, but a battle with someone like him would get nowhere if they just punched each other. The next best thing was to slip a dagger into his jacket and go from there. Kevin moved down the stairs and into the cold night, his eyes scanning the environment. For all he knew, the assassin could already be there. Nothing that he could see was appearing before he eyes so far as his walked down the street. ‘Come and get me…’ He thought, keeping vigilant. This could very well take a while but patience was a virtue he had a good relationship with.

The streets were empty, no one as far as he could see. In the distance the police were more than likely still examining the crime scene as he hadn’t been gone for long, but one thing stuck out more than the rest. The wonderful, serene silence of a sleeping city surrounded him and it brought a faint smile to Viper’s lips. More than a single part of him missed the mountains of Japan where he could sleep beneath the embrace of a cherry tree. Stars always watched over him with the silence lullabying him from consciousness. Once the thoughts had grasped him tightly, Kevin gracefully climbed towards a roof where he sat with his feet dangling by the edge and eyes looking up at the dark sky. “Come and find me…” He whispered, leaning against a metallic vent. This was what his life had been reduced to, a treasured specimen hunted by those he hunted back. He missed the days when he could travel without someone hiding behind a rock, taking notes of his daily life before an imminent attack. It was getting tiring but at the same time, it was his only source of entertainment. Funny, it had come to the point where he couldn’t even determine if it was tiring him out, or if he indeed enjoyed this little game. “I can wait for an eternity…” He continued. “Come and find me…” Viper repeated, his eyes scanning the streets below in between turning to the stars. After everything that went down today, many others would more than likely join his lifestyle. Hopefully they were up for the task because the hunt was about to begin.
I like your plan xD
Does anyone have any suggestions of the next event?
His fingers found home around the hilt of his sword , gently squeezing the handle to get a feel for it. Memories of a vicious past surged back into Kevin’s mind at the touch of his sword, memories filled with both pride and sins. The edge and scabbard were parted slightly to reveal the sharp edge of Kevin’s trusted weapon. A pure piece of steel from tip to bottom drew this sword incredibly resilient, a full tang blade of high quality. Incredibly simple in appearance, but it was a blade to surpass many others and had never failed Viper in a fight. It was given to him as a gift by an old master awaiting his trip from this world. A parting gift fitting his departure.

Kevin freed the blade from its restraint and with a graceful swing, he could clearly hear the wind flowing with the steel. The mere thought of putting this sword back on his body, ready to cut his enemies, filled him with a rush he’d rather leave behind. ‘Once a killer, always a killer’, he sighed. One could perhaps hope that the rage and joy of battle did’t reach beyond his fists, but part of him actually enjoyed being hunted by the Weapon X program. One could speculate that it was a form of twisted justice where he saw himself allowed to slice these agents in pieces. Perhaps he could simply see the frailty of mortality in the process, feeling high and mighty at the sight.

He sheathed the blade once more and placed it back in the case. That super charged agent would attempt to find him again, and Kevin would return the favour. Either way, they’d cross paths once more. With the nearly unending ride of thoughts and speculations coming to an end, Kevin crawled into bed and dropped down on his back. It had been an interesting day filled to the brink with symbolism. Everything which had happened pushed him in the opposite direction of his previously intended purpose with coming back.
Kevin struggled back to his feet, nearly falling over as he did. “Damn…” He rubbed his neck, using the wall as leverage to hold himself up. He had heard everyone scramble, and he was hearing the police sirens. That kid was left, the silver guy. “No rest for the wicked…” He sighed, moving closer to the dizzy mutant. “Come on, let’s not leave you hanging…” He reached down to help the silver mutant out of the alley, making sure that none would be caught by the men in blue. This was of course Viper’s scene and he wasn’t about to let anyone take the fall for this. While he was a douche at times, jaded by the years, he wasn’t heartless. Being caught in the middle of this could very well mean some really troublesome consequences. He moved as fast as he could, and once he was far enough from the scene of the crime, Kevin let go of the silver mutant and took a deep breath. His stamina was back after that little rest he had indulged in, though the concrete wasn’t very comfortable against his naked skin. Speaking of which, it would be an idea to get a hold of a shirt. Luckily the motel was close by. “Alright.” He stretched, turning to the mutant. “From here, you’ll need to walk on your own. Don’t die.” He winked and moved on, slipping between the buildings as he made his way towards the motel.

The thoughts of his fight seeped into his mind and didn’t let go. That man, that construct, it had his blood. They had actually managed to manufacture something from what they claimed? Damn, this was bad. It also spelled trouble for Kevin’s previous plans. Settling down? Yeah, right. This mutant, human, creature thing was out to get him and he was gladly going to return the favour. 32’s very existence was stolen property, something stolen from Kevin. He would find that agent and they would dance again, without a circus surrounding them.

Though lost in thought, Viper soon found himself by the door to his motel and was met by a funny look from the owner sitting in the lobby. “What’re you trying to prove, scrawny?” Kevin turned to the man for a second, raising his eyebrow. He was going to reply, but simply shook his head and moved up the stairs.

This night couldn’t get much worse but it felt good to finally be home. Without a second thought, he threw off his clothes, took a warm shower and dried up. He was immediately refreshed, slipping into a pair of boxers and a t-shirt. Good, now he could plan his next move. Kevin reached below his bed and produced a case. Within was a neatly fitted blade next to seven throwing knives. Tracing the scabbard gently with his fingers, he breathed out. This had happened once before, and was one of the main reasons why Weapon X left him alone for a while. He decided to strike back, sending a few messages back to HQ in the form of body parts. Viper wouldn’t say that he’s proud of the darker things he’s done, but it worked for a while. Well, only for them to build a mutant, human cyborg to send after him. He had to admit though, it added some variation. Apparently that house would have to wait.
Kevvy will try! He's tired...xD
He will become that dark, good anti hero xD

Uhm that's because we are ladies, and we have special powers to protect us from peering eyes, like Kevin. As for the police I'm not sure how to proceed without interrupting other posts, are we all going to run to the four corners of the earth or what?

Kevin don't want no boobies xD

*Whispers* he's gay
Don't touch the cord, yo!
In terms of weapons, Kevin had the upper hand as a katana was held firmly in his hands, but after the explosion which nearly ripped his upper body from place, stamina wasn't quite on his side. He saw his enemy charging towards him through the blurring rain and raised his blade to block the incoming strike, moving to the side and stumbled towards the wall. That knife wouldn't kill him, but if he had to regenrate much more he'd be laying on the concrete in an attempt to stay awake. The others surrounding them were in scattered positions due to the explosion and the sheer number of random individuals didn't do well in terms of dynamics. So far, this battle was between Kevin, or Viper, and 32.

With his goggles gone, nothing stopped the rain from falling into 32's eyes. He didn't have time to blink the water away before he was upon the target. Dodgeing the silver mutant's attack, he used his left arm to slip under the target's right armpit, then brace across his back as 32 tried to force him to bend forward. 32 pressed the knife's blade against the back of the target's neck, angled slightly upwards and ready to shove between vertebrae.
"Don't move," He warned in a growl.

As Viper was forced into a grapple, he could clearly feel his opponent's superior strength due to Kevin's weakened state. Even in top condition, he was sure that in term of pure muscle mass, 32 had the upper hand. Either way, wether on death's door or not, Kevin had been through enough fights to become a rather stubborn individual. When bent forward, he did little to hinder 32's progress, but rather used the opening to shove the tip of his sword into his opponent's leg and tore his own arm out of its socket as to escape from the grapple. He twriled around and jumped onto the conrete and finally rolled up to his feet. "You're one hell of a guy...too bad you're physco..." With his arm healing back, he wiped his forehead and stood, raising his blade for another go. This battle wouldn't end very well, not with Viper's dwinlding strength.

32 made a slash, but it landed in thin air. The target was fast, he had to consider that. He took a limp forward before his leg had fully healed. His gear was soaked, his was cold, he had water in his eyes, but he refused to let exhaustion grip him. He'd been on longer missions; this, he could handle. 32 took another step forward and tried again the aim for the back of the neck. He brought his right hand around in a swing that, for a few seconds, completely exposed the rest of him for attack. 32 was used to being stabbed and shot, but he tended to forget that his biggest weakness sat right in the middle of his chest.

It seemed like both the combatans were struggling against fatigue. Their movements were growing slower and their strikes were growing weaker. Viper saw his enemy lunge forward for another strike, a straight forward attack that wouldn't have been as predicatble had 32 been at full strength, and it would have been easily dodged had Kevin not been at the edge. His mental wits weren't fast enough to see a graceful solution to the issue, but rather ran forth to meet 32 in full force. He felt how the agent's knife cut through the skin in the back of his neck, nearly cutting his spine. They had both left themselves open more times than they'd want to admit, which was also evident with Viper's sword slashing his enemy across the chest before he stumbled behind him and spun to face him again. Their wounds were gone just as fast as they appeared, but the lack of energy and the heavy rain made it hard for them to aim for the weak spots.

32 pulled back as the sword ran across his chest. The sound of metal meeting metal could be heard through the downpour. The front of 32's uniform was slashed clean open, and while the cut in his flesh quickly healed, the scratch of the outer metal of his heart didn't. The blueish-white light glowed through the heavy rain. 32 huffed and made another attempt. One had to give the guy credit: he didn't give up. 32 lunged at the target once more, he stepped towards the side and once against tried to jam his blade into the target's weak spot.

The glowing heart was dimly visible through the rain, quickly stealing Viper's attention. So that was it, that was his 'brainstem'. A single thought immidiatly came to mind; electricity. The two would continue their brawl for a few more moments, wounds going both ways. Kevin was feeling his vision getting more and more blurry which was the big red light to end this fast or else he'd meet many complications. Through the fight Viper noticed a puddle with an electric wire dangerously sparking through. That was it. With the incoming strike, Kevin dropped his sword and sidestepped 32's blade and grabbed his arm before wrestling them down towards the puddle, sending electric shocks through the both. With his last sliver of strength, he managed to roll out of the currents and found himself on the wet concrete, his vision fading. If that didn't stop his enemy, Kevin was out for the count.

32 struggled against the target, who was shoving him down to the ground. He'd been taught never to let the enemy pin you, which he assumed was what the target was trying to do. The moment he hit the ground, his body went numb. 32 cried out as electricity sputtered and shook his body, his heart's light flicking and even giving off a couple sparks. And then it went out. 32 went limp, silent. It appeared that the shock had short cirqued the heart, possibly even killing him. He didn't seem to have a pulse; his chest didn't rise and fall with breath. But no one really had time to stick around and find out; the cops were coming.

Sirens wailed nearby. A cop car pulled up at one end of the ally, soon to be swarmed.
