I edited my post a bit by the way since I noticed how I had forgotten to include the gnome
Yay ^^
Aah, I see. Thank you for explaining. I think I'll sit this one out, but thank you anyways ^^
Eryel raised his eyebrow at the quest granted. Well, at least this would pay him, not that it followed his usual work schedule but it would have to do until dangerous ruins come along. “Remove that meal.” The elf stated, finishing his pie. “And throw in five gold pieces instead.” He did like coins. You could never have enough of those, and hopefully the bartender would comply. “How exactly do you want this guy thrown out?” Eryel rubbed his chin. “If he hasn’t paid for his room, I reckon you own this establishment and the rules of your society would allow you to remove him from the premises, correct?” But then, humanity never truly impressed. “Then again, I won’t question your customs. I'll accept this assignment.” Eryel finished. One could never expect too much from these short lived hunks of meat. Their shortcomings would in this case benefit the elf, so by all means. The gnome who had made an entrance would easily steal everyone's attention, but after shedding him a glare, Eryel went back to the conversation. Gnomes, they were always so loud. Well, at least they were better than humans.
I have never really read these books but I saw that you didn't have to have read them be here.

I want to make a warlock if that is possible, but my question is, what does the magic look like in this world?
I don't mean to sound like a sour puss, but uhm...how did Daxius see that Eryel got bad water? XD
Yes, write one more reply Voltus. You've written two, write a third.
Eryel quickly changed his tune once the glass of ‘water’ was placed upon the bar. This was it? As if the outside wasn’t filthy enough, the one comfort he saw was but an illusion. “Thank you…” The elf muttered. At least the pie was eatable, he hoped. It didn’t seem too horrible, despite the meat. If it was anything like that water, however…the bartender would surely need to up the quality of his place. Despite the uncomfortable feeling running down his spine, Eryel dug into the pie but left the water alone for obvious reasons. He had paid money for it, but he knew how humans functioned. If it reached the counter, that meant the money had been spent and no refunds were possible. Greedy, filthy creatures but their greed made Eryel’s job so much easier. As long as he got his hands on something golden and shiny, some poor sod would buy it even if it was cursed. One thing Eryel prided himself in was the fact that he was an honest person, never selling anything without revealing its secrets first.

The treasure hunter couldn’t help but overhear the bartender speak with one of his comrades. A job? While he preferred to be paid in coin, a free night’s sleep would be a good path towards just that.
In risk of pissing people off, I am going to take my leave as well. I am sorry but this role play is a bit buried by now and having joined another due to that...I'd rather continue there...
Alright. If things go well, and this one reaches an end, I might give that one a shot perhaps, if there is room.
