Always interesting to see what other characters think of mine; seems that I haven't been far off with my expectations thus far. (Andracos thinks she doesn't have opinions or aims, though? Huh.) I also see that none of Riddle's characters have thoughts on her up, and Jaice's sheet still says "WIP".
I am all here and going nowhere, should anyone wonder. I am a persistent presence, and unless I outright declare myself out (or something happens to me) I will never go anywhere as long as at least a single other person remains. I just may not always be very talkative, and sometimes I preoccupy myself with something or other RP-unrelated ... not so much because I have to, but because it seemed interesting at the time being.

(Why, and you folks are in a lot of hurry to get the RP going. It hadn't even been a full twenty-four hours since she last left an OoC note before the first time you essentially declared her MIA. Give the woman a break!)

@Prince: I can't say this is the typical roleplay for me, either ... far more relaxed in terms of character creation than I am used to, and even more high-fantasy than most of the high-fantasy RPs I have been in. (I would probably join a scifi RP by this point, rather than another fantasy one, but it seems that there is a distinct lack of harder scifi, or scifi RPs I personally find both interesting and good in general.) As a writer I am all over the place - although alternate-world low-level hard science fiction is by far the most prevalent as far as genres go. As a roleplayer I typically go for whatever is realistic in terms of the given world ... which the high-strung RPs you described would probably conflict with. I, after all, wouldn't know and do not like to plan in advance what my character would be reacting like, nor, for the matter, whether they will even live for so long, should the RP be more combant-oriented or anything happen which, in my mind, would put an end to said character. (I've had it happen on more than one occasion that another player's character killed mine without them even intending to.)
I also tend to hold quality of writing over everything else, even if I sometimes do force a post out when tired out of my mind just so the other players wouldn't be waiting behind me for more than a week. (Relatedly, I am not exactly fond of posting schedules.) Post length is all over the place, though usually - I shall refer to Elynne's sheet as an example here - I type a lot.

(And hrm. You were actually half-serious with the singing comment? I admit I took it as a sarcastic remark when you first posted it... But sure, if you actually do it, post it here, too. Could be interesting.)
Said scene in Zerul contains Fixer (Jack), Ixion (Mercinus) and Morgan (Rhaevnn Xeno), I believe.

Jack, did you get the PM from handful of days ago? No particular hurry in replying to it, I think, but as usual I am not entirely certain whether it was actually noticed (lack of notifications and all).

Nessa, busy with children having school starting (soon)?
Well, by his description he does not sound like a particularly nasty person, not compared to some of the others, at least. And well ... Elynne is personally supposed to be used to odd folks. A little transformation is not going to faze a person who is used to seeing an acquaintance of hers possess a new corpse to use for temporal body every other week or so...
There, the CS finished. I shall finish her story sometime in a couple of days and post it for perusing, too. Meanwhile, SweetCinderella, look over the CS now that is done, so I can post it in the other thread? Everyone else who was waiting for her personality for the relationship charts, here you are (first page of OoC).

@Cthulu: Lao dun like philosophy? (And hmm. He is also gay, not just really, really feminine? I was briefly thinking someone should make a gay male, just because lesbian characters seem to come up all too often, but male gays seemingly only very rarely... And why am I getting the impression that several the men of the carnival consider him to be the most terrifying being ever? The little friendly peaceful Lao? :-P )
The next three days (today included) I am working, Thursday is free, but I may visit an old friend of mine (which requires six hours' worth of driving back and forth), Friday I'm working, the weekend I will be in a forest... I shall be fairly busy this week, unfortunately. May write an intro post Thursday morning or so if the IC goes live by then. September's free time for me as plans presently are, however.
Well, someone wanted to give a male character my mother's name, once... And my father's nickname and one of my male cousin's name (here a very typical male-only name) have been assigned to females before. One of my very oldest nicknames keeps coming up as character name for the opposite sex, too. Different culture spaces are odd things.

(I still cannot picture a person named Nikita as woman, either... Note that all real-life Nikitas I have met or know of are very male and very Russian. Apparently some movie has a female titular character by that name.)
@AkiBlue: It is a story, yes... I personally tend to dislike the biographies which are just prosaic listings of happenings, so I opted to go for something more like a free-form short story.
Oh, you mean the textbox character limit, not the roleplay's character limit. It is 65'535 characters. (For the record, my CS is nearing fifty thousand with the biography not included, and with the last people yet to be added, the relationship chart is at about thirty-five thousand. And now you know why I have to multiple-post those...)
...I think SweetCinderella said there isn't one?
