Not yet sadly. I did observe it was once available before the site update. You may have to use the link or hider option.
“I’m seeing all checks on my end Kaite, looks like we’re set. We’ll be departing shortly so make your final checks now.” replied Rayland though his terminal before cutting the connection and turning back to Sel. “Well, with all things considered, I think we’re ready to-“ “Captain Rayland Sul’tari, all operation checklists have been fulfilled. We are ready for departure. Awaiting your orders.” the VI suddenly interrupted, just as it confirmed with the reports being made with all sections around the ship. “…Thank you Towan, I was about to say that…” Rayland rolled his eyes as he made himself comfortable back into the captain’s chair and opened a ship-wide communications channel. “Attention crew, this is your Captain speaking. All new personnel and cargo have now been accounted for and our energy and full reserves are at their peak. Currently we are go for launch. All crew members are to report to their assigned stations for takeoff. That is all.” With the announcement done, Rayland turned to the ever-at-the-ready ship VI’s eyeball. “You’re up Towan.” was all that Rayland had to say. When he first got his hands on the Infamous Alto, he learned that Towan of course was not the brightest tool in the shed but what the VI on the other hand made up on the other hand was its surprisingly spartan and diverse programming. The original owner of the ship had established several unique hot-phrases with the VI, each phrase encoded with an algorithm of various instructions and commands to carry throughout vessel. With this particular phrase, Towan was immediately at work manipulating the Infamous Alto’s systems under its direct power. Looking back at his terminal, Rayland could observe the docking ramps folding inward and then locking up before sealing in with the hull. Then came the ping request to the docking crews to unlock and release the clamps that held the frigate in place. Almost immediately did he then confirm that the crews outside had replied as the magnetized claws opened and retracted before the ship’s mass was governed once more by the station’s tractor beams, pulling the vessel forward. “We are mobile.” Towan reported. “The Infamous Alto is now en-route to the SWS Howling Sun. ETA, ten minutes.” The frigate slowly moved through the metal skeleton of the never sleeping station, passing by the many docking bays and logistical facilities interconnected by a series of construction spires teeming with maintenance drones. The crews there were many and at constant work maintaining other docked vessel, whether they be within artificial gravity or operating in the vacuum with special zero-G equipment to navigate around each ship. Along the way, the Infamous Alto was met by several other ships following the same path. Each ship varied with different hull configurations and armament layouts; some carrying little to no weaponry and thus deducible to support and transport vessels. The other craft that were actually armed to kill were clearly patrol and freelance destroyers; Rayland counted at least ten combat ships and adding that to the Howling Sun’s own personal compliment of war ships, it was becoming more obvious on how serious the Galactic Coalition was with this mission. Eventually for all the ships in transit, they finally had arrived to the massive port-side of the SWS Howling Sun, leaving some of the command staff in awe as most of them have never seen any vessel quite like it. Rayland only passed a small grin, knowing that there were even bigger warships that could dwarf the Howling Sun easily but admittedly, nothing in the sector aside from the Asuka and the Dev’rana could compare to its immense size and staggering arsenal. Much like the Ascended Force Commander that lead her, the SWS Howling Sun was Sphere warship, specifically a Highland Wolves warship. It's rough edged design and sleek profile attributed to its fast and powerful combat prowess as did most Highland Wolves vessels. Uniquely for most Sphere warships, the spherical sections of the craft were in actuality the craft itself as most of the vessel's functions and combat mechanics derived from the metallic bubbles while other portions are normally considered necessary add-ons such as armor, weapons, and other varied purposes. Each spherical section generated it's own power and artificial gravity that could also be regulated to other sections in case of an emergency. Even more so was that the vessels could maneuver with the hull itself rather than utilizing it's own anti-gravity fields, allowing for quick re-positioning, especially when bringing all of its weaponry to one side. Admittedly though to himself, Rayland felt nearly invisible and thankful knowing that this warship was on his side and vice versa. In the briefest moments, control over the ship soon left the station only to be reinstated by the skirmish carrier, causing a temporary change in gravity. As the ships, were tugged closer to the Howling Sun, As soon as the Howling Sun’s profile over took the bridge’s sensor screen, Rayland leaned back and asked allowed, “So has anyone ever been ferried by a carrier in an en massed slipspace jump?”
Going by your post everything seems to be in order. I'm already working on a post to get us up and going.
We're about ready for take off everything is just about loaded though Kaite is talking to Riblou of course.
Sorry about that. Though I was considering a time skip, it would have made a few scenes I was going to present pointless. Plus the transitioning would have been awkward, especially describing it all in detail.
First of all, w00t w00t 3 pages! #easilyamused We're about to get things under way here in a little bit; more than likely in the next post. Again though I do want to restate for everyone to finish their pieces before takeoff.
"Indeed I do, though I am afraid to ask what you have stowed away in there..." said a groggy sounding Rayland as he pinched the bridge of his node while pulling himself out of the captain's seat. "I'll explain later the rest of the crew when we jump into slipspace. For now, we're to regroup with the SWS Howling Sun after preparations are done here...Which reminds me..." Rayland reached over to his console and tapped away on several of the touch interface sensors. The key strokes prompted the same holo-screen from before to illuminate, showing Kaite and Riblou with another passenger. Going by the cargo manifests and the crew rosters, the were just about wrapped up. This was also true going by the dispersal of most of the dock crews with their tasks already accomplished, leaving only the essential personnel to assist with preparations and departure of the frigate. With a few more taps, Rayland linked the built-in vox of his console to Kaite's communicator. "Kaite, this is Rayland. How's the preparations out there? Are all the new crew members accounted for?"
De-synchronization was something that the mind could never get used to; it was like a reversing flood of thoughts and memories as the brain pulls away from the strands of virtual cognition that tied it to the Cyberverse. Though brief as it was, the resurge of old and new information however felt like it could last another lifetime until the mind reconnected back to the real world. The worst part of course of the brain then trying to re-wire its many functions back into the place so the body may behave correctly. This normally afflicted the sense which would eventually be corrected though the lasting effects varied. Just when the de-sync completed, Rayland moved his hands to his face, groaning as felt the light of the bridge pierce through his eyelids. With a free hand, he managed to disconnect the wire from the back of his neck as it withdrew coiled back into his seat. As he continued to force his eyes into acceptance, Rayland quickly began to realize that he still could not feel his legs since the meeting With forced curiosity, Rayland bended forward and pulled to his hand away from his sight, finding someone’s luggage was place on his thighs and kept there for the past several minutes. He came to a pause upon this strange discovery but quickly did he find the culprit and the newcomber along with Towan staring at him, as if awaiting his next action or command. “…I see you’ve came quite prepared Sel…” sighed Rayland. “Your tasks aboard the Infamous Alto, ADI Mark V, will be the general maintaining of the vessel’s facilities and primary systems…” Continued Towan after Rayland blurted into the conversation. “…And a position in the Galley. Based on your skill assets, you’ll make a fine addition to the facility.”
Hmmm, that being said, should we move onto where everyone is ready and going into space? I think all of us have been introduced right?
For the most part yes. I have been waiting on someone else who very much wanted to join but since they have not gotten back to me, we'll have to continue on without them for the time being. I'll be posting my piece soon later this evening though I wanted to make sure everyone had posted and satisfied any current conversations with other characters.
Probably, I can think of a few good scenes already
