The Order: Holy Warriors

I had a post all nice and typed out. I even copied it. Apparently it didn't copy the right thing and now my post is gone. :(

I just remembered that I need to add the rest of the creatures to the list. Descriptions if nothing else. You are all free to post either way as we won't be seeing any really dangerous creatures other than the Alfort.

Today was the day.
Everything these budding hunters had trained for. Cub Day. She would lead them out to the Alfort caves and they would choose their life long companions. Evaline smiled as she gently stroked Kiyan's mane, running her fingers through his fur.
She had gotten an early start this morning to pray to The Pure One for the safety of her charges. Now she waited quietly with her own beautiful Alfort, Kiyan. She brushed him slowly a while the sun crept up over the mountains and the village started to come alive. There was no hunting on Cub Day, out of respect to the magestic animals, so the hunters all stood around chatting among themselves. They were just as excited as she was. The hunters that were joining her, Rin and Hodfred, were to meet her at edge of the forest where the path led out on the east side. Which should be within the next few minutes. With practiced ease, she strung her bow and slipped it over her shoulder, her quiver and dagger were already in their places, and her pack was full. Just in case.

Evaline let out a small sigh and looked up at The Pure One. The High Priestess Forsythia would be addressing the hunters before they left. A blessing to keep them safe. Hasn't failed yet. With another sigh, she buried her face in Kiyan's fur.

It wasn't hard to see that Claude was struggling. His shuddering was clear to see from where he stood. Maybe he should sit out the next exercise? No, he might find it offensive.

Cayenne listened quietly to Castiel, his arms folded. When she finished, he shook his head slowly.
"Very good, all of you." He ignored Castiel's comment. "You found all my items, but there is one more out there. It is warded to be invisible, and since you are the most powerful here, Castiel, you can go first." With a nod toward the trees he knew none of them would be able to find the final item. Not until they gave up and looked down. Cayenne smiled, wondering if any of them would give up and see the rock sitting right on the stone wall in front of them.

Position: Head hunter

Skills: considered a master with the bow and is experienced with medicines and tonics.

Appearance: Picture to come because the one I have sucks

Personality: Evaline has a fiery spirit. She is outgoing and overly cheerful but lapses into a gloomy mood when her parents are mentioned.

History: Evaline was born an orphan. Her father was killed while out on a hunt and her mother, just minutes after giving birth, left the village and was never seen again. She was raised by the priests within The Pure One. They taught her all about the different herbs and showed her how to make medicines with them. They had expected that she would chose to stay with the priests, but when she picked up a bow and shot her first arrow, they knew she would follow in her parents footsteps and be a hunter. When the decision was made, the priests that took care of her gave her a special bow and told her to beware of the animals in the forest.
On her first hunt, she was attacked by the most dangerous creature to walk the forest, a Kaldio. Evaline doesn't like to talk about the experience, but it ended with a dead giant predatory cat.
Due to her skill, it was no surprise when she was named the next Head Hunter. Evaline took this honor happily as teaching the young members of the village was a dream of hers.
When not out hunting or helping the younger elves improve their archery skills, Evaline spends her time mixing herbs into poultices and small tonics made water from The Pure One.

Now all thats left is to start.
