I wasn't actually throwing shade at DeadDrop. I don't believe I've ever even put in a CS for one of his RPs (nothing personal there bud, just never saw anything there I was really excited to do). Neither of my callouts have been on people who actually read this thread ... and if for some reason they do see it and know I'm calling them out, I really don't care. That was the damn point.

Revamping a Supernatural Medieval Roleplay

I think I was interested in this last time but I opted not to work through a CS. I can't actually remember why. Gonna look through and give it another shake. I'll say something if I end up making appreciable progress on a CS.

EDIT: I actually cannot figure out why I passed on this. I didn't find a single one of my usual write-offs which would send me packing. Only guess at this rate is that I couldn't work out a character or I was too busy. That said I might have a vampire idea. >:) Still don't count on me yet, but the odds are improving.

I found out the RP I was bitching about back on the previous page two pages ago (the one where the GM was playing "I've got a secret") has officially died. I shouldn't be happy about that ... but damn if I don't have the smuggest fucking grin on my face right now. Sweet retribution.

Steampunk ⚙ Big Ass Monsters

I'm completely dead ended on writing a first post. I feel like this has low-key become a nation roleplay, purely by dint of the types of characters submitted and that's not at all what I came for, nor is it something the character I have could even get involved with in any capacity. This second point in particular has me between a rock and a hard place.

Also the time system is fucking with my head. This loosely limited asynchronous has my chronology all messed up, as I'm much more used to working in a semi-synchronous, chronologically accurate main thread. Truth be told I'm in such a bind right now I can't even guarantee you'll get a first post, and that makes me upset because Sam is probably my favorite character I've created to write for.
I'll keep people update if/when shit changes.

Considering that I wrote a new character specifically for the RP in question ... and I've attempted to use said character a total of four times now with zero successes, I'm exceptionally salted over it.

Noticed a familiar name creating a new RP here. I remembered it from being GM of something that died months ago because said GM dropped off the face of the earth despite having a nice handful of dedicated writers. Turns out said person has been back for almost a week now working on building a completely new RP.

Think I'm ever joining something of said person's ever again? Absolutely fucking not. I'm guilty of allowing an RP to die before it ever started ... but this person's RP had a dozen IC posts (300-400 words each at least) and then dead silence. Months of dead silence.

There is an irritating number of 1x1 searches mentioning futa. I'm pretty much certain that's solely a porn fantasy RP they're asking for so fuuuuuuuck that shit.

I keep checking in on an RP here that initially got a bunch of interest but managed to spurn almost all of it. Now it's below the necessary starting capacity and failed to jump start with a second round int check.

Oh, and this is all mostly because the GM basically played "I've got a secret" with the lore. I'm watching it die with a twisted sense of satisfaction.
