At last Amber got to see Earth, the cradle of mankind, with her own eyes. She had been born on a Federation colony world and studied in a military space station before being affected further still from the heart of Federation space. The trip 'home' had been a long one, but it was worth it. From the spaceport to the Phalanx base, everything moved faster. She had been welcomed and briefly told that the briefing would be the next day and left to herself in her temporary quarters.

As she walked in the briefing room on the next day, coming straight from a training session, Amber was surprised to see two persons already present.

One seemed to be a vergisian. Short human-looking species with gray skin and 6 fingers. She had met some on her different military affectations. Their aptitude to tough out harsh conditions make them excellent miners and what not. Federation often dealt with them to get their resources, especially on colony worlds.

The other being, she was not too sure what species it belonged to. It looked like a dragon. Ridley came to mind, which was not reassuring. If they were here, though, then they were not enemies at the very least.

After a quick nod in their direction, Amber took a seat somewhere near the center of the briefing room and took out a holographic pad and began reviewing some notes about what little information she's had on the mission.
Done and done. Sorry about that.
Added Photo Inspiration.

I'm not home for most of the day though... but I'll surely post first thing when I get back tonight.
Fixed it. Added a drone with many functions and the ability to move around without drawback. Hope it's fine, and hyped to start the RP. ;)
I like the drone idea... Good thinking. Also, the stationary thing is only because I wanted kind of a down side to the gun - on top of the limitation to close quarter combat. I thought that the idea of a powerful and precise weapon might be strong or something.

If you give me the go then, sure, I'll go change that.
This would be it :^)
Or at least a first draft

Name: Amber Haus
Alias: 'Freya'
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Occupation: Special Force
Residence: Federation Space

Physical Description: Amber is your average soldier: solid and healthy build. Her green eyes come paired with red hair that she keep just long enough to get in a ponytail. About 5'8, she would have a human's average height.

Personality: Despite her military career, Amber can be described as a kind soul. While her military training makes sure that she shouldn't be underestimated, she prefers a non-violence approach as well as studying lifeforms instead of outright destroying them if and when possible.

However, her loyalty to the Federation and orders given come before any of that, and she's done things before that went against her normal self - not that she would boast about it.

Equipment/Cabilities:

AI2A-AMY Power Suit
Artificial Intelligence for Assisted Aiming

First prototype of it's class, a Power Suit outfitted with a multipurpose AI made mainly for aim assistance and mounted with a very large and powerful laser rifle specialized in long to extreme distance fighting.

- At rest, the rifle looks like a very large antenna mounted behind the right shoulder. When deployed, it pivot and aim forward, extended it's canon outward and giving hand grips to the shooter.

- Precise and powerful piercing shots over massive distances.

- The AI, named Amy, aid to the aiming of the rifle through complex algorithms as well spotting, scanning and providing information on possible targets.

- The suit itself come with a jet pack engine that allow for quick movements and better access to good firing positions. It auto recharges autonomously over short periods.

- The suit has a Drone implemented in the left shoulder area that, controlled by the AI Amy, can detach and fly away. It's primary use from a military point of view was scouting, but it is outfitted to be able to provide assistance to the suit bearer in a multitude of ways from scanning to hacking and analyzing samples.

History:

Amber grew up on stories coming from the borders of the Federation space and colonies. Stories of brave colonists from many different species. Of strange worlds being discovered one after the other and, of course, of bounty hunters. Growing up, they were what little kids looked up to in all matters of adventures. A sensation.

The biggest sensation was one bounty hunter known as Samus Aran, of course. While not much was actually known on her, Amber still looked up to her. She grew up looking at the stars, and hoped to explore them all.

Growing up, she's lost some of that sense of wonder but none of her will to discover things: an accomplished biologist and researcher, she entered the Federation Military academy where she distinguished herself faster than some and earned her a spot at Special Forces. «

Amber's years with the Federation caused a complete shift of opinion on bounty hunters - especially Samus. Seeing her now as a traitor to the federation, Amber gladly accepted the task the Federation proposed her: Search for the Bounty Hunter and possibly bring her back.
....Kiiinda? When you make it sound like that... xD

I would imagine you have something planned for the squad to get together, so she could be assigned to it directly by the federation?
Hey there. As I said - in the wrong place - I'm interested in joining this if you still have place and would be interested in another member.

Before writing it I would like to make sure if my character's idea is acceptable. It's actually simple.

I wanted to re-create a character I had for a Metroid RP I did once, a while back: A Federation soldier wearing a Powered Suit designed for long distance combat. AI-assisted Enhanced Aiming with a mounted gun.

Also, the first time I created her she had access to Samus' previously scanned database and worked with it and on completing it with new datas, since the first RP was more based on Metroid Prime. I'd scrap the part where she has access to Samus' databases, since that has to do with the 3D Metroid., However would it be far fetched to have her kind of be a on-the-side scientist and interested/tasked with keeping track of anything that could interest the Federation? Lifeforms, materials and what not. Since we'd probably visit many planets?
Are you still taking persons into this? I'm interested. Looks like it did not launch very much so far, but I'll follow this closely if you'll have me.
Maruyama, Ai

Morning in Konoha

Ai closed the files she was writing in, stared up at her students while immediately pocketing it all right back in the belt sack behind her.
'Very good job - all three of you.' she said with a smile.

'Now, as I said, I really want to gauge out my dear students in order to be able to tailor training that fits your exact aptitudes. With the precious demonstrations you've given me, I am closer to that goal. However...' as she spoke, Ai began to slowly walk towards a small upward log that had been placed there some time before she brought the group here, though somehow remained unnoticed. On it rested a small chest. '...Since you will be forming a team, I need to also see you work as such. And so I brought this chest!'

Ai adjusted he long arm gloves as she said those words before adding: ' I want you guys to come and take it. '

On those words her stare fell back on them, but without a smile this time. It was razor sharp, piercing right through them. Deadly.

Takahashi, Minori

Morning in Konoha

Minori reached to scratch the back of his head, slightly embarrassed at Azumi's comment. 'Thanks, Azumi...' he managed to answer.

It was nothing much. It was a bit obvious... - was what he would have wanted to say, but felt like it would be a bit too smug. Acknowledging Masumi's nod, the young shinobi took his place back behind the remaining duo and watched Masumi's trial. Minori was...impressed by his teammate. His movements were fluid and calculated.

As with Azumi, Minori failed to comment on Masumi's trial when he got back. Feeling like it would serve no real purpose and would only risk leaving a feeling of competition in the team. He simply looked back at Ai, who was finishing up scribbling some things on her papers.

All of this jovial scene quickly turned to something else when their their Captain told them of their next exercise which was to start now. Obviously, it would pit the three of them against her with one simple goal: reach the chest. Minori froze not out of fear, but because he began thinking. While he stare did turn from comforting and kind to menacing and daunting, she did not take any usual battle stance which was, in it of itself, intimidating and confusing. Was it a tactic used to obtain that exact effect?

Minori remained silent, but he stepped closer to his partners which meant he was ready to plan out a plan of action.

Sakaguchi, Ryuu

Morning in Konoha

Without a word more, Ryuu jumped from his seat and led to way. He walked ahead as he led them back to the building which was assigned as the Headquarter of his operation within Konoha. Barging in, they ignored everyone on their way down to the basement where there was multiple holding cells. In the back of that corridor there was a door - opened - that led to an empty interrogating room.

To both Asuka and the officer's comments, Ryuu had the same reaction: he remained very calm and brought his hand up to his chin thoughtfully and almost with a small smirk on his lips. He could even be heard whispering to himself 'Well done...'

'Jingen, go back upstairs and make sure everyone knows to be on their guard and keep an eye out for a missing kid.' with this, the officer left.

'Anything seems of interest to you, partner?' Obvious sarcasm aside, that last word had two way more important uses.

First: it was used as a way to bring Asuka back to his proposition about helping him solve this case and obtain a clear Yes or No answer after what had just transpired. Second: It was also a way to catch her attention. Once her eyes met him, she would immediately recognize the message he communicated to her silently about passing absolutely no comment on the very obvious fact that someone entered this room without having to force his or her way in.
