Isn't that the point? If all our characters reacted in exactly the same way to everything things would get very boring, very quickly. :)

@nk1506 Well, I don't know about you, but I (and Indar) would like to know what the doctors put into me after the surgery. It just seems logical that they would explain his augments to him, because it seems that everyone else is aware of theirs.

In Saf's case they told her it was classified and that she'd be informed later when it became relevant to the operation. As a good soldier she accepted that, but obviously her patience is beginning to wear a little thin.

Installed as part of the operations we were given before signing on? I take it he's been briefed on their operation ahead of the rest of the team then?

Slowly relaxing Saf slipped his pistol back into the holster and lifted her hand away, holding it up to show she meant no harm. All the while her eyes remained fixed on the sniper, unwavering and ready should he make any hostile move.

Finally her eyes broke away from Sgt Orion and moved over to the screen. "I'm getting tired of all this bullshit," She said, her tone obviously riled, "I was told this was a military operation, but so far all I've seen is wasted time and pointless theatrics. If you have a mission for us then give us the intel and send us on our way. If not, let us get back to our duties."

The Fog

As she wandered up the path Kis caught the smell of burning flesh on the wind. Immediately she was on her guard, darting off between the trees as she slid her new blades out of their sheaths. Carefully she made her way around the farm's perimeter, preparing herself for the worst until finally she caught sight of the bonfire.

A large pig was slowly being roasted on a spit as two of the younger adventurers turned it over in the flames. Nearby an older adventurer with a belly almost large enough to fit the pig in whole was pouring seasoned oils over the carcass, carefully basting every piece of the beast as its skin began to crackle and pop from the heat.

Relaxing Kis slipped her blades away before stepping out of the shadows. "Well met, friends," She called, waving over to the party members as she walked towards the fire. "That's a fine beast you have, do you mind if I share in your feast? I can trade you some of my own prizes to help sweeten the pot." As she spoke Kismet reached down and pulled two skinned rabbits from her pouch, their salted bodies preserved and fresh.

Need a little more time to pass before Kis can make it to the farm. Hope she doesn't run into too many Random Encounter rolls on her way there. :p
