Would anyone be interested in participating in a Dragon Age inspired roleplay covering the parts of Thedas not previously seen in the games (Nevarra, Antiva, Rivain, Par Vollen, etc.)

The adventure would be set after the events of Inquisition, but the actual state of the world will be discussed between any interested players before the roleplay begins, and decisions such as who rules Ferelden, whether the Architect is still alive and what happened with the Red Lyrium idol will be set in place at that point.

As GM I'll set up a Dragon Age Keep-style record of the backstory before the roleplay starts so everyone knows the state at that time. All that I'll say for now is that:

The party will consist of a mercenary band recently in the employ of the Inquisition but now with the Corypheus crisis averted they're moving north to find new work. The members of the party can come from any background within the races seen in Thedas (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Kossith, Darkspawn, etc.) and while I won't impose limits on what combination of powers they may have I would prefer that they limit themselves to Skills, Spells, Talents and Abilities previously seen in the Dragon Age universe. Having said that, if you'd like to play as a rogue mage with a greatsword feel free to combine powers from all those available to craft your perfect character, as long as they don't contravene established lore (no Dwarven mages, for instance.)

I'd be looking for committed players able to post at last once every couple of days, and anyone not posting at least once a week would be considered to have fallen into the Deep Roads and been killed by Darkspawn... or at least hopefully killed by them.
In the episode where Flowers is sent to guard the Alpha the Director said that steps were being taken to ensure no-one questioned why there was no Agent Florida, while at the same time a projection on the monitor in front of him showed as explosion which causes Florida to break away from the rest of America and disappear. The implication was that the Director had the entire state wiped out in order to cover up the fact that Agent Florida was now undercover.

What a bastard.

My mistake. Just reviewed the episode and the Director just says they need a cover story to explain what happened to Florida and the Counselor (Aiden Price) says "Leave that all to me, sir," before pressing a button which causes the explosions on the simulation behind him (around 5:25 on the video below.) Which makes the Counselor the bastard, not the Director.

Originally I was gonna make him a hit-and-run expert, using his jetpack to either storm through enemy lines or drop into the middle of them before using a shotgun to cause heavy damage and shooting off again, but when I realised both Wash and Monty have gone for 'up close and personal' as their fighting style I switched to a long-range, sniper combatant instead, to give the team a bit of flexibility.

That's right ladies, George's got both reach and flexibility. :D

@SimplyJohn Well florida has s backstory in the rp as to why its no longer a state.

The Director blew it up? :?

How canon are we going with the RP? Sheila canon, Church canon or Caboose canon?

Since Church couldn't remember whether the events at Sidewinder actually happened or not, his record of events is a 'if no-one said it didn't happen, it happened' level of recall. With Caboose... let's just say his recollections may differ from reality slightly, so his record of events would be 'if no-one (except Caboose) said it happened, it didn't happen.' As for Sheila, she's a damn Tank and you can't get more canon than that! (Without calling in an orbiting battleship with a heavy MAC.)
Full name: Captain Kerry Shawcross

Code name: Georgia

Gender: Male

Age: 27

Implanted A.I.: Kappa (attribute: Conscientiousness) - Increases Sensory awareness as well as motion tracker increases reflexes. Causes the user to second guess themselves and the actions they are about to perform

Armour Ability: Jet Suit - jet enhancements allows for short flight as well as enhanced rocket boosted attacks

Appearance:

Personality: Generally a pessimist, Georgia just loves to point out how badly things can possibly go wrong before diving headlong into the fight. Never seeming to get excited about anything, he's always waiting for the other shoe to drop, no matter how well things are going or how successfully the mission has been completed.

History: Born on Reach, Georgia likes to tell everyone he's the son of an ace pilot, from whom he learned his love of flying. In truth his father was a civilian contractor employed by the UNSC to haul away the refuse and scrap produced by the planet's considerable military operations. Having seen exactly what happens to equipment when things go wrong throughout his childhood, Georgia tends not to trust military hardware all too much, preferring to get up close and personal during combat, where he can rely on more traditional forms of combat.

Having signed up for the military as soon as he was of legal age to do so, more out of a desire not to end up like his father more than any patriotic drive, Georgia was slated for Pelican piloting duty before the outbreak of the Covenant War. Stranded with his unit in an outlying system Georgia was forced to improvise tactics and maneuvers on the fly to keep one step ahead of the technologically superior alien forces he was faced with. On his return to base he was awarded a commendation for original thinking and bravery in the face of the enemy, and quickly fast-tracked onto the Freelancer Project to take the place of the recently MIA former Agent Georgia.

Weapon Loadout:

Fighting Style: Georgia's combat style is all about keeping as far away from his opponents as possible. It's not that he's a coward, just that he's learnt from hard experience that when facing alien monsters a couple of foot taller than yourself what you really need is a couple of kilometers range on them. Using the combination of his sniper rifle and jetpack Georgia can position himself perfectly in order to pick off key targets with ease, while also carrying enough ordinance to easily break away from targets who get too close.

Other: Georgia carries a lucky penny, which he has a tendency of flipping during briefings and planning sessions. He insists that it helps him to concentrate and remember vital mission details, but as he often needs to be reminded as to what his objectives are in the field the veracity of this claim has often been called into question.

*Kis gets bored of standing in the middle of a bandit gang and decides to do a striptease to keep them entertained while the rest of her party finish off the roasting hog*

Harry watched the boy carefully from the back of his radcycle as Has'la chatted with him. He seemed innocent enough, and he was certainly in need of assistance, but Harry's nerves were still on edge. It just didn't feel right for someone to be wandering so far out of town by themselves without any sort of support, and no injuries. He'd have expected the bandits to have already picked up the straggler and either robbed him, recruited him or eaten him.

His eyes slipped down to the kid's guns, still hanging at his sides. 'He must have some skill with those things if he's managed to last this long,' Harry thought to himself, still wondering how easily he could get hold of those guns himself, if only for a quick inspection to see how they worked.

Pulling his attention away from the boy Harry glanced off down the road and spotted a smear on the horizon. With a whirring click he activated the zoom function on his optic, closing his other eye as he did to avoid disorientation. The smear quickly snapped into focus, as though it were almost right in front of Harry, but that didn't help. All he could see was a dust cloud, and if there was anyone hiding in it he couldn't tell from this distance. Harry quickly snapped through a few other visual modes, scanning for heat sources and chemical composition, but still the traces were inconclusive.

Snapping his eye back to normal functioning Harry's hand reached back and pulled his rifle back onto the handlebars again as he looked towards his business partner. They'd need to be moving soon, otherwise they were going to be picked off, either by whatever it was approaching down the road or by an ambush led by the kid, Harry could almost feel the bullets and energy blasts already and his trigger finger was beginning to get twitchy.

Twisting around in his seat Harry looked back towards the Jeep. Neither of the girls seemed to have moved since they left the town and Harry began to wonder if the ambush was a lot closer to home than he'd first thought. Had he fallen for an old trick and let himself be lured out of town by a gang ready to rob him? Perhaps flashing his power cells in the bar hadn't been such a good idea after all.

With one hand on his rifle Harry moved the other onto the handlebars, giving the radcycle's engine a quick pump with his pedal to make sure it was running and ready to go in case the shit hit the fan. He was reassured as the throaty grumble rose between his legs, the comfortingly familiar voice of his best friend letting him know everything was going to be okay.
As she heard the Lt speak Saf quickly reached down to her wrist comp and pulled up his file, glancing over it and picking out the important details before turning her attention to the quiet 'Englishman'. Quickly running her eyes down his body Saf did a quick assessment. For a guy hitting his thirties Lt Alexander looked more like someone in their late teens.

Either he'd taken really good care of himself or his family had enough money to pay for incredible thorough gene scrubbing in utero. Her money was on the former though, families who threw their money away on making sure their children were born with perfect genes tended to keep them at home rather than letting them enlist in potentially life threatening military careers. If he had come from money like that he'd more likely be the one sitting behind the monitor, beside Overwatch, than riding a freight elevator.

"Special Air Service veteran? Where were you posted?" Before he had a chance to answer Saf quickly held up her hand with a smile, "Don't tell me. 'it's classified', right?"
Florida is currently in ruins and for the sake of this rp is not considered an available state.

I thought Captain Butch Flowers was Agent Florida, up until his unfortunate aspirin allergy killed him. Or Alpha-Church did, depending on your point of view.

Also, Washington + Caboose = Best. Hilarious. Moments. Ever. XD

Of all time. :D
A new squad, not the ones appearing on the show? Does that mean I could play as Agent Georgia, the expert jetpack operator with the habit of flipping his lucky penny during mission briefings?
Sounds interesting, count me in.
