@Leda@TheUnknowable No, but we'll have to find a way to meet up IC.

Harry's already mentioned bandits a couple of times, it's possible that your character could be one of them and Has'la manages to talk them into turning on their comrades.

Just had a flashback to the Firefly episode 'Out of Gas' where Mal talks Jayne into shooting his two comrades with the promise of his own bunk. XD
...his Battalion's symbol with the Winged Dagger of the S.A.S., on the dagger hung a gas mask. Above it read '23rd Battalion, He Who Dares Wins'.

Did someone mention gas masks..?

We're just heading out of town for the mission, so you could possibly still tag along if you can find a way to join up with the gang. Best check with @TheUnknowable though, he's GM for the party.
I tend to think of a specialist as anyone who focuses on a certain discipline, whatever field they're engaged in. A highly-trained specialist would be someone who has not only chosen a specific discipline, but one who's also spent time perfecting their skills within that discipline.

Another way of saying it would be to call someone who has started training in Kung-fu as a martial arts specialist, and calling a Kung-fu Senpai a highly-trained specialist.

Of course, in Saf's case I'm still wrong, since she's not really had any extensive training in close-combat compared to any other military officer, but she has had extensive battlefield experience in its use and tactics, which would make her more of a veteran specialist rather than just a highly-trained specialist.
Not 1, 2 and then two with 3 written on them, so the guards think they're safe after killing the first three only to get taken out by the fourth one?
It's just to differentiate Saf from the other specialists, since her training has been primarily close-combat and squad tactics while Jax is trained in stealth and marksmanship.
@TTwoThumbsUp Which you know, might be something like messing around with the lights and alarms for a bit before turning before turning off all the sprinklers and starting a fire on multiple levels while bolting out.

Or turning off all the security gates and fences letting the genetically-modified reptilian carnivores loose.
@Shadowman215 Wouldn't he have to walk over to 09 to tell her to turn her thingy off? (This accident may turn to benefit us!)

They were all just sitting in a row of chairs so he'd only have been about ten feet away from her at the most (and probably only about five or six feet.) More than enough to point at a highly trained close-combat specialist threateningly while armed only with a knife.
Air dropping troops just became a lot more horrifying if we're all as fat as those guys. Just how much weight is the lift rated to carry?
@GhostReaper I Don't remember Jax strutting...i'm pretty sure he never even got up from his chair lol.

He's still sitting in his chair in the lift? :P
