Looping high over the main hall Bumblebee wove her way between the chandeliers as she carefully lined herself up with the upper hallway before thumbing the control and activating her afterburner. Suddenly she was rocketing across the room, heading towards the hall, but not quite getting there just yet.

In a moment it would be time to shout out a warning to her teammates, but for now Bumblebee had the opportunity to simply enjoy the speed, and she was going to enjoy every second of it.

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to bow out from this roleplay. If you're looking to roleplay but will be metagaming other people's characters all the time, as well as having all the characters behaving in the same way mechanically, then there doesn't seem much point in being involved. Feel free to use Sureshot as a punching bag to give your own character the openings he needs to win the fight.

With nothing better to do than wait for Brakeel to report back on progress with the little goblin mugger Chuck went to sit down at the desk only to change his mind. Turning back to the panel he quickly selected a telephone, as there didn't appear to be one anywhere in the room. As he made his way over to the desk he wasn't at all surprised to see the phone sitting there waiting for him.

Picking up the receiver Chuck tapped the star button on the keypad and waited until a member of staff answered. Quickly giving his room number he asked about room service, fully aware that it had been several hours now since his arrival and he'd not even eaten anything in the real world, let alone here in the simulated one.

"We have the widest selection possible, Sir." The concierge assured him and so Chuck ordered a foot-long sandwich made with whichever was the freshest meat in the kitchen along with a breadknife so he could cut it himself, three bottles of energy drink served in a bucket of ice, a chocolate fudge sundae with plenty of ice cream and a selection of cold meats with dipping sauces to be delivered to his room as soon as possible.

With that done Chuck turned to the computer and pulled open several windows for Internet Explorer.
  • In the first he quickly googled whether it was possible to download Chrome onto the machine rather that the piece of s*it software he'd been provided with;
  • In the second began a search for all references to 'the Great Wizard of the Ring';
  • The third he dedicated to searching for information on the city, including street maps and lists of important buildings and individuals;
  • The fourth he dedicated to searching for information on Macheel and Mateel, to see if he could learn exactly who he was allying himself with;
  • The fifth was more difficult, as he wasn't entirely certain what to look for, so he simply began a search for 'freezing glass eye' to see if there was anything useful to be found about his little trinket;
  • And finally in the sixth window he began an international search for reports of strange people appearing out of nowhere within the last few hours, giving the specific time of his own arrival as a search parameter. Hopefully that should be enough to try and locate his fellow players, or at least give him a clue to their whereabouts.

While the system was running, and with his food on its way, Chuck loaded up the pinball game, more out of idle curiosity more than anything else.

With her colleagues making good use of her weakening attack, driving home against SWAT Officer 1, Bumblebee decided to help keep the enemy off-balance a little more. Swooping forwards she grabbed SWAT Officer 2 under his arms and flying as quickly as she could rose out over the main hall before letting him go.

Action: Attack SWAT Officer 2 - Plummet
What do you plan on doing?

Grabbing one of the SWAT Officers, flying out over the main hall and dropping him.

Hopefully I'll get a bit of damage for that, plus he'll be Ranged while he's on the lower floor. Don't want to end up dropping him on Heretic though.
Could you please post soon?

I'm deliberately holding fire right now. I want to try something a little tricky but need to see where Heretic will be before I do.

Staring at the options available for a few moments Chuck quickly selected a computer, along with a suitable desk, a comfortable looking chair, a desk lamp and writing pad and finally what appeared to be a small hula dancing desk ornament with an exceedingly shirt skirt.

As he waited for delivery Chuck wandered back to the window and spotted that the lion-riding goblin had made it to the burning building and was now helping. Helping his lion to a nice, fresh helping of roasted pauper that is.
Is there any way the 'Special' moves could have bonuses too?

I was thinking something like the Double Whammy counting as two hits, but would only need one defence to stop it, since the shots would both be fired together and could be dodged/blocked at the same time; Rapid Fire Volley taking two Defences to block it but still only counting as a single hit, since it would be stream of bullets which would be difficult to dodge/block; and the Headshot causing double damage but could be avoided without the opponent spending any defence, due to the difficulty of actually making the shot.

Would you let Disarm actually disable an enemy's weapon-based attacks, such as the Parademon's Axe Slash and Energy Blast, until the enemy had retrieved their weapon with a defence?

I'm liking the way @Genni's giving a breakdown of what the narrative actually means in terms of number of attacks and defence used, especially since it helps keep track of how many of each kind of defence the opponents have used in the fight, so I'm paying homage to her style. :P
Stepping up to the fallen and bloodied Parademon Sureshot took careful aim, ready to end the monster's life with a simple shot between the eyes, but when he pulled the trigger all that happened was the hammer slamming home against the empty chamber. "Goddammit!" He cried, quickly dodging into cover as he pulled out fresh clips and quickly reloaded his guns before springing back out just in time to see Streak being blasted to the ground.

"Noooo!" He cried passionately inside his rebreather, lifting his guns and sending bullet after bullet into the attacker's body, quickly penetrating the monster's armour plating before drilling deep into its flesh.

As it fell through the air Sureshot opened fire with another volley of shots, only this time it wasn't a feint. As the bullets impacted the Parademon's body it's natural armour began to chip away, leaving the soft, vulnerable tissue beneath exposed.
