It was amazing how heavy it could feel, even somewhere with reduced gravity. He was surrounded by all directions by a seemingly infinite darkness. There were bubbles in various places in the great ocean, and even in this dark, abyssal trench, pockets of air floated around. There weren't many sea creatures around at all. There was only darkness.

But it wasn't total darkness. As he swam, he left a ray of blueish light behind. He was bioluminescent, and created his own light. His scales produced a chemical of some kind. Though he lived in the ocean for as long as he could remember, there was nobody to talk to. But it never got lonely, since he didn't know what it was like to be with anybody else.

He was one of the merfolk. The upper half of his body was very human, but had a scaled tail that resembled a dolphin's only slightly. His tail split in two at the tip, and two flowing, curtain-like fins extended from there. He had dark, indigo hair that flowed as he swam and silver eyes that saw through the darkness of the deep ocean.

There were fin-like, ribbon-shaped appendages that came out of his wrist, ankles, and behind each ear. They were light blue in color and seemed to have an important purpose. His hair was only up to the middle of his back, but seemed much much, much longer.

He hummed lightly as he swam, the water resistance pushing against him. He smiled. Though he had no reason to smile, he had no real reason not to. However, the merfolk stopped abruptly. Something.. was off. The porcelain-skinned male stopped and floated vertically for a bit.
Filler! I'll make IC in a bit!
True! Kinda nixed the idea of having two sniveling baby dragons.
Before he could kiss Skylark, Edge realized Sleipir was coming out of his shell. Hurrying over to him, Edge gently moved Skylark to one arm. Holding him in the crook of one arm, Edge gazed into Sleipnir egg and lovingly carried him out. With one child in each arm, Edge smiled. They were so adorable. He could see Path's genes in them.

However, his joy didn't last for long. Sleipnir looked about six, but Edge could tell he would be very, very handsome. Edge saw the child's eyes. But for some reason, he didn't care. For the first time in his... um... lives, Edge realized what a stunning color violet was. Especially when Path's golden eyes reflected in them. He smiled and kissed Sleipnir on the top of his head.

"I love you, Sleipnir ... I'll always love you..."

Skylark felt the attention drifting away from him. Suddenly, he opened his eyes. They were a very, very light, translucent violet color. It was slightly different from Edge and Sleipnir's. He felt something strange. It made him feel hot, and - He didn't like it. Whining lightly, Skylark wrestled out of his father's grip and hugged his back. "I love you more than Sleipnir , daddy..." He whispered, squinting from the lights.

Edge chuckled. "Well, I love both of you." He then scooped Skylark back up so he was next to his brother. "Come on, you two. Let's go meet Father." Calling Path mommy wouldn't really make sense. As he hugged and kissed the two happily, he wondered what Path would do.

However, the smile on his face cracked when he got to the bedroom. The sheets were strewn, and Path was nowhere to be found. Edge's grip on the kids faltered and he stared blankly. Did Path... leave...?

"I think I love Daddy." Skylark whispered to his twin.
Filler OOC post.
"A movie advertisement, huh?" Harp hadn't hears of it before, but it seemed fun. He nodded like he knew exactly what Bel was talking about. In all seriousness, he was acting. When n the academy, he would pretend to pay attention all the time. It was easy, and Harp could just smile and nod. He had one of those faces.

At Bel's question, Harp paused. "Have you ever heard of black wings?" Harp responded after a while. "Well..." A dark look crossed his features. "They can only be attained with the help of a demon. I can kiss my chance of white wings goodbye, buy I'm going to fly one way or another."

The pink-eyed angel sighed.
Lawl. I get it. Man, I love where this story is going!
Skylark was a little confused to why Sleipnir never spoke, choosing just to sent raw, primal emotions. Strangely, it didn't seem primitive. To Skylark, Sleipnir was sweet. He sighed playfully as Sleipnir sent him another image of Daddy. Recognizing this as a yes, Skylark nudged his shell for the first time. Unlike his brother, Skylark had been saving up his energy so he could break out in one graceful, elegant movement. The need to be beautiful was probably due to his memories of Path's mom. Skylark wanted to be out of his shell, even though it was kinda scary. "I can't wait to see you." Skylark could have been talking to Sleipnir or Edge.

Edge giggled as Sleipnir nudged his hand. Suddenly, he heard a loud crack. Sitting up in shock, Edge looked over to Skylark's egg. The eggs were about as big as a child now, so Edge imagined his kids were fairly developed. As he looked closer at the dark egg, it had a single lone crack on it. Edge crept closer.

Suddenly, as soon as he had broken through, Skylark was afraid. It was cold outside his home, and so... Bright! He let out a cry. He wanted to stay inside. The dragon whined as he tried to shrink down back into the shell. However, he felt warm arms wrap around him, and Skylark couldn't help but smile at who he saw. The handsome, bright-eyed male that could only be...

"Daddy..."

Edge had reached into the egg and taken young Skylark out. If this was a human baby, Skylark wouldn't be able to breathe let alone talk. But Skylark didn't look like a newborn. He looked to be about six or seven, in human years. Skylark's eyes were shut tight, so Edge didn't know what color they were. Skylark had lightly tanned skin, and cool grey hair that fell about him in curls. He had pointed ears, and Edge could feel little wings budding on his child's back. Skylark had grey wings, the same shade as his hair. Edge realized he was crying. Smiling, he told the child.

"Daddy loves you..."

Skylark sent an image to Sleipnir . It was one they had seen before, but this one was Skylark's own memory. It was of Edge.

"Whatever you feel most comfortable in." Harp replied neutrally. There was no point in influencing Bel any further. He had already shot the poor guy with one of his arrows. Perhaps it would wear off soon. Harp wondered if Bel knew he was under a spell or not. At any rate, he wasn't the type of person who needed to be waited on hand and foot.

Soon, Harp's walking stopped as they were on the roof. He raised a single hand in the air to have it kissed by the chilly wind. Harp loved the rooftop already. The air smelled of gasoline and sesame. The sun was high in the sky, partially obscured by the clouds. the floor had cracks and gum marks, but it didn't make it any less breathtaking. Harp could see the city skyling, and he realized that the city was very big. There looked to be huge towers made of shiny material and big, round colorful circles in the air. "Bel!" He called, pointing to a billboard. "What is that?"

It was a movie promo. It was digital, so there was a video going on. There were two young men. One had stunning white hair, while the other had more of a dark black. There were many wolves in the background, and it looked like they were in a forest. Harp noted it read, 'Wolfprint- In theaters now!".

"You know, Bel... You're not a real bad guy." Harp thought aloud.
