Not my own words, but: "Enjoy memes and have a good time online, but develop a solid sense of self-worth that is rooted in a reality that doesn't disappear when the battery charge is empty."

Please fill out a Character and FRAME sheet and PM them to me for approval. Once approved, you can add them to the CS tab. Doing it this way keeps the OOC clean and clutter-free.

Just a reminder! Everyone who was present in the first chapter is more than likely accepted by default, but let's keep a standard-operating-procedure.
I finally got something done!
Sister Ezheia

Armistice - East Gate - 500/500 HP

Ezheia followed the paths of Armistice's streets, the furs of her robe dancing with the wind. She could walk unchallenged in this space; the aura of a Decanus was a mighty thing for the commoners around her to behold. Especially so, that it should be Ezheia in particular: the "Black Denacus," as some had taken to whispering. Ezheia's methods were not without their share of scalpel-precise brutality; all the better to keep dissidents in line and make her job easier. If anything, the lingering traces of the Cataclysm were the real threat to society, and a thief here or cutthroat there was a waste of her efforts. Better to let the Aspirants and Initiates deal with humanity's cesspool. No, Ezheia had much bigger things on her mind today.
The Decanus reckoned she would miss the operational freedom of her rank, once she became a Venator. It wouldn't be long now, that she knew, and it had been hinted at by her superiors, although never mentioned directly. While the title was welcome, the rank also meant she would be at the Archon's beck and call; no longer could she pursue her own agendas. This venture was one of the last she'd make as Decanus, and she'd elected to see it through, with the last shreds of the autonomy she had. Doubtless, not many within the Order would approve. The Archon and most of the senior leadership had it in their minds that magical poisoning was an inevitable affliction. In nearly two thousand years, a cure had not been found, so that meant it was futile. Yet, Ezheia had witnessed more fellow Aspirants die to the affliction than she cared to recall. If her hunch proved correct, then this expedition could offer a glimmer of hope for the Order. In the off-chance that the poisoning could be negated, and with the opportunity to hunt Cataclysmic horrors across the world, Ezheia could put down two birds with one stone.
As Ezheia emerged from the corner of the marketplace, her eyes met the East Gate, and a throng of individuals that didn't look like they belonged in the same room. She recognized the armor of a God Eater, adorned by a giant of a man, and to her surprise, an Aspirant clad in the standard-issue robes of the Order. She'd never have thought to see another member here, with the stigma associated with the trip's purpose. She bit her lip as she approached the group. Would having another from the Order help or harm her work? The others gathered around were less noteworthy to the eye; probably folks with nothing to lose, who aimed to turn around their luck. For both her and their sake, Ezheia hoped they knew how to defend themselves.
"Sister," Ezheia beckoned, nearing the Aspirant. "Why are you here?"
Curious, what if you are designing a support type FRAME?
I'm talking long range missiles and Multiple different ECM as well as an Imaging Suite.

Would you still need an auto cannon?

The guideline still stands; it's the primary armament of all military FRAMEs. That said, you could have cannons of varying calibers and rates of fire, which would make slight changes to how the weapon is used in combat.
I've gotta get a post up soon.

@Windicator
I'd be happy to have you continue whenever you have the time to commit!
It's been about a year since the last chapter; plenty of time for lineup changes and the like.
@Lutalica
That'd be true, actually. A FRAME with 2 slots could carry an autocannon and one more weapon; anything of your choice.
Considering that an autocannon to a FRAME is akin to a standard-issue rifle for infantry, I hope that sounds reasonable. In most cases, FRAMEs will trade weight for power, and vice-versa, but later on, some really high-grade machines might have lots of both.

Also, don't forget antipersonnel machine guns are mandatory as well, but don't count towards the total.

I am rebooting my FRAMEs RP, this time, the mechanics of mech customization are a lot simpler for newcomers, and there is little to no emphasis on micromanaging funds and equipment. Returning players are free to join; the new OOC explains what has happened to the Panthers since the last chapter. New players are welcome and encouraged to breathe new life into the RP.
Players are encouraged to customize their FRAMEs as they see fit; I am making weapons DIY for a change of pace, and removing the need to keep track of funds when buying/selling. The idea is making a FRAME you want to play, rather than waiting for new things to unlock IC. Th roster of FRAMEs and subsystems will grow as the RP progresses, and you're free to swap anything at any given time.

A brief overview for newcomers who may be interested:

It is the year 2173 of the so-called 'New Renaissance' era. Mankind probes beyond the reaches of Earth, entertaining the possibility of establishing colonies elsewhere in the Solar System. Technological developments are at an all-time high and civilization has prospered thanks to the contributions of scientific and mechanical advancements. However, not all is tranquil on our blue planet.

The sovereignty of Earth's countries have given way to the dominance of powerful supranational unions and massive global corporations. The planet toils under the growing demands of its population as businesses churn out products, foodstuffs and other necessities. Hungry for more resources to maintain their growing populations and drive up profit, Earth's major powers turn their gazes to their neighbors.
Strife between supranational powers and corporate entities is a common and expected phenomenon. While no official declarations of war have been declared in recent years, tensions have sparked armed skirmishes across the globe, often in the form of false-flag operations and by means of proxy states.

Caught in the tension between the transnational governments and corporations are dozens of mercenary regiments which sell out their talents to the highest bidder. Often military veterans or deserters, these hired guns do most of their employers' dirty work - keeping their clients' hands clean, for a fee. There are many sell-swords out there willing to do just about anything for money and a bit of thrill, while others are more politically motivated. Mercenary regiments are as diverse as they come, yet one thing's for certain - in a web of intrigue and backdoor deals, the jobs are never in short supply.

I hope to see a few new faces join us!
