I found this size chart that I thought might be neat to have.
@The One Looks great! Awesome picture by the way! There have been mention of lizards and the such in the book before! They've always just been back characters mentioned briefly, but I wouldn't have a problem with it!
@The One Romance is allowed just keep it appropriate haha. If you wanna go in depth take it to PM's. Of course if you'd like to kill off your character for story purposes that is up to you!
@The One I'll allow the use of animals that make sense for the setting. Think more of a European setting. So no jungle animals or etc. As for badgers there is usually one one badger present at a time as they are territorial and become filled with bloodlust easily when in battle. They are practically a one man army on their own when paired against a rat and smaller creatures.

As for the don't judge a book by it's cover I suppose we can let the alignments slide! So I will allow 'Evil' characters to be played as 'Good' characters! As well as the other way around!

As for age we'll make the youngest being say a 'teenager' and well if you want to be a crippled old bat who can barely walk well I won't stop you haha!

@The One Porcupines are fine! However, there will only be one badger at this time with that being the Badger Lord of Salamandastron. This is due to them being somewhat territorial. If someone is able to show a fair amount of knowledge in the Redwall universe about the Badger Lords and Salamandastron i'd be more than willing to let them play the Badger Lord! Which can be a male or female! However, they will also have control over the Long Patrol which is the main fighting force for the badger lord.

Here is a work in progress OOC
This is the official OOC for Nightscourge: A Redwall Tale!

Winter had fallen in Mossflower wood. It was a peaceful night at Redwall Abbey, the fire was stoked in the great hall and all the dibbuns gathered around listening to the Abbot read their favorite stories. They'd each been given a slice of a freshly cooked apple turnover scone made by Friar Turnbell. They grinned and squeeked as the story reached it's highest point. Then the Abbot shut the book, "Alright my little ones. It is time for bed we will continue our story tomorrow." The young ones moaned, "Awe, but abbot canna we pwease finna the story t'night?" The abbot smiled, "Not tonight you rascals. You must learn patience and it is late. My old bones need rest." The Skipper, leader of the otters rounded the corner and looked to the little ones. "Aye, come on ye' old sea dogs! Let the abbot be! Now off to bed with ye' afore I scoop ya' up and feed ya' to the sea pike!" he chuckled as the little ones scurried off up the stairs to the beds.

The Abbot turned to the Skipper, "Hello, my old friend. How have you been Tarsley?" the old mouse asked the otter. The muscled otter helped the old mouse up from his chair, "Aye, i'm doing just fine you old romp. The clan has settled in for the winter and our food stocks are full." The old mouse nodded in approval and smiled, "Tell me though Tarsley. What brings you to Redwall this late in the winter?" A grim look set upon the otters face, "Abbot Marlin, there's been word from the badger lord of salamandastron that a fleet has been spotted out at sea headed for Mossflower wood. Great black ships sporting sails with ghostly figures painted on them. Word has it they're controlled by a rat named Yaarna the Nightscourge. They say he's like a ghost. Pale white with red eyes. He wears a tattered old coat covered in blood. His sword a curved blade covered in deadly poison. His followers paint their fur white and call themselves the 'ghost crew'. They're a nasty lot, Abbot. They got not care for folk like us and would just as soon cut us down."

The old mouse took the otters hand and walked with him down the dimly lit halls of the abbey, "My dear friend. I'd hoped that in my lifetime I would never see a day like this, but I have seen the things you speak of in my dreams. Martin the Warrior came to me two nights ago in my sleep. He showed me a group of heroes standing atop a great hill looking down into a foggy battlefield. Through the fog I saw the eyes of Yaarna and all his horde. You must find these individuals from my dream, Tarsley. Bring them to the Abbey and we can only hope they will be enough to stop this evil that comes for us."

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my Redwall RP! For those of you not familiar with the Redwall Universe, it is based in a land filled with animals with human characteristics. Not so much anthro's as they retain the physical size and features, but are given the ability of speech and thought. As well as other human traits and skills.

The world is almost always divided into 'good' and 'evil' with certain species falling into those categories.

The 'Good' creatures being: Mice, Otters, Squirrels, Shrews, Hedgehogs, Moles and Hares.

The 'Evil' creatures being: Stoats, Ferrets, Weasels, Rats and Foxes.

Other creatures are seen, but are far less common being: Badgers, Birds, Snakes, Foxes, Wildcats and some other large creatures.
There are various groups in the world some being:

Long Patrol: is a specialized, elite army of hares that live at Salamandastron, the Great Mountain by the Sea, and are commanded by the resident Badger Ruler of the mountain. As in a military, they are divided into a specific hierarchy of rank and function.

GUOSIM: (pronounced [gaw-səm]) is an important group of shrews that traverse Mossflower Woods and the surrounding country. They are water creatures that typically use logboats on the many streams and tributaries for transportation. They are always led by a Log-a-Log, a tough shrew who commands the bunch and is usually a bit more laid-back and less argumentative than the average shrew.

The Otters: Otters are typically a clan-like group always run by a 'Skipper'. They are friendly folk and always offer a helping hand to the good creatures of Mossflower wood.

Places:

Redwall Abbey: Along with the woodlanders of Mossflower and other Loamhedge survivors, the Abbey was built out of red sandstone from a neighboring quarry, with the intentions for the building to be a place of peace for all. A tapestry was woven in the Great Hall dedicated to Martin the Warrior. After his death, he was entombed beneath the Abbey. While it is ordained to be a peaceful location, many times a warrior is called upon from the residents to combat a threat against this peace. The residents of Redwall name the Seasons every year after some large occurrence. Young citizens of the Abbey are called Dibbuns.

Salamandastron: is a large, extinct volcano on the western shore of Mossflower country. It was described as a "mountain of the fire lizard" in legends, which is what "Salamandastron" literally means. The mountain is inhabited by a force of hares for the purpose of defending the mountain and the western shores of Mossflower country. While sometimes the force of hares is not great, they make up for smaller numbers by the quality of their forces. In other cases, the mountain plays host to more than a thousand hares.

Mossflower Woods: is the large forested woodland area on the River Moss, south of the Northlands and north of Southsward. The central community in this area is Redwall Abbey.Mossflower is divided in two by the River Moss, which can be crossed by a ford. Since the death of Argulor, there has been relatively little danger from birds-of-prey. As a matter of fact, most Mossflower birds have been friendly to travelers, though there have been a few harrowing incidents. Though Mossflower is not a very dangerous area aside from marauding vermin, it does have a few natural perils. There is swampland, which has caused the death or near-death of careless vermin.

The RP will take place during winter with snow on the ground so please keep this in mind. Dress your characters appropriately for the winter as we wouldn't want to lose a paw ;P

More than one character is allowed so that you may play a 'Good' and 'Evil' character if you so choose!
I will consider allowing someone to control important characters such as the Badger Lord of Salamandastron, Skipper of Otters or Log-a-Log of the GUOSIM if they have fair knowledge in the Redwall universe!

If you have questions pertaining to the RP or Redwall universe feel free to ask! It's fairly straight forward though even if you aren't familiar. It's a world filled with animals with human characteristics. There is death, bloodshed, feasts and merriment.
@DragonKingUk Sounds good!
