I think I've developed arthritis recently. I should probably invest in a better mouse pad or something.

I'm alright with keeping the name as is, might help get some of the characters get along better later on as you guys have mentioned.
Before long, it was Elisha's turn to sign up. Once she was in front of the table, the woman with the form raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you're up for this kid?"

"Do I really look that young?"

Elisha takes a glance at the adventurer next to her who was signing up, and she takes her own turn at raising her eyebrow. This guy looked no less older than her, perhaps by maybe just a few months. But that could be because of his outfit. His flamboyant attitude didn't help though. The girl looks back towards the woman with a firm look on her face.

"Yes, I am."

"Very well." The lady hands her the form and a pen, which Elisha takes.

"Elisha Marluxia. Otonoki. White Mage. Offensive and healing magic."

She hands the paper back after writing, and she was soon redirected to wait to the side. Elisha noticed that the woman who helped her earlier had also signed up for the quest. If they happen to get into the same group, she can hopefully find a chance to formally turn her down. If they are not, then she can simply forget about it. The quest will most likely be a one-time thing only anyways, so she doesn't have to worry about long term commitments.
Well, Ellie the Astronomer Mage will be with a spellsword and our templar, so they wouldn't get too confused unless they end up joining the same group after our first quest.

Yeah, that's what I mostly meant. It's not a big deal, really. Just a heads up in case they ever are together in one location / scene and someone starts referring to Elisha by that.

Elle's next but I want to just make sure and save progress here.

Um... Just as a heads up I guess? I have put the name Elle as a nickname for Elisha. It's just a nickname for her (which I can always remove or change), but it might make it confusing in the future if they're both in the same scene.
Still though, I feel bad for making you guys wait so long for my post. I'll get one up as soon as I can.
Holy crap I just went to bed and when I woke up, so much happened D:
Despite the older woman's struggle with her words, Elisha could tell that she means no ill will. She just has a problem about expressing herself. Elisha couldn't help but slightly smile at her savior's awkwardness.

The woman's follow up however, caught her off guard. Elisha herself was now the one blushing quite madly. "E-eh!?" To her, announcing one's desire to protect another like that pretty much equals asking someone's hand for marriage. As before, the girl knew that was not what the older woman meant, but she couldn't keep the thought out.

While she was happy at the thought of somebody looking out for her, somewhere deep down, Elisha knew the familiar look on the woman's face. Pity. She has seen this enough times to tell when someone is thinking exactly that when they find out about her condition. And she's tired of it.

Elisha was about to turn down the older woman's proposal, but something else interrupts her.

It's time.

"I'll get a chance later on to turn her down. But for now, the quest must take priority."

Some of the adventurers had already lined themselves up for the application for the quest. Elisha quickly gets in line with one of the shorter ones, with some of the people in front of her being some of the adventurers she noted earlier.
True. When I mentioned relationship I had Elisha and Cecelia in mind- I assumed you'd both prefer to have a friend. I'll most likely group by class.

Either would be alright by me, really.

I'll have another post up hopefully within the hour.
<Snipped quote by Uruvion>

Unless I miscounted we have 9 characters to team up. 3 groups of 3 sounds good.

Would you prefer I pair you guys off by relationship, class, or random?

Considering that only Elisha and Cecelia have something going between them that's not a "this person seems like an adventurer" kind of relationship with each other as far as I know right now, grouping by classes (a fighter, a mage, and a support for example) or random sounds good.
Can I still come in late?

Considering the plot still hasn't really moved, feel free to post I guess. At the moment, all we're doing is having our characters meet while waiting.
