There are no borders. The closer you get to the approximate area that they live in, the more likely you get killed. But there is no line you can stand on one side of and be fine but on the other, be killed.

Sorry about the slow response, family emergency. You know how it goes.Obviously, if random events do happen (Note the if. I havent decided yet) they will have logic. You won't have floods in deserts or droughts in rainforests and the like. And by Random Events, I mean small but important issues like "Tapira has had a poor harvest" or "Workers in Arakion have descovered a small deposit of sapphires", as well as the obvious "A scout has spotted a small group of marauders" and "High winds make the port at Niraph temporarily unusable"I won't have anything that wrecks your nation. It's not the the Khangate will be lost to a massive flood, or the Dominion will be sacked by savages. Just little things that can help or harm you. I am considering leaving RE out considering the amount of people sayibg they'd rather not have them though. I have a feeling the IC will be up before it is decided...Yes, but that means that a Wildling Encampment needs to be in raiding distance. Also, Wildlings have a natural dislike of males - whilst the Valkyries certainly won't slaughter and enslave them like a normal Wildling, they will certainly show disdain and disrespect to them.Yes, of course. It's small for practical reasons. We don't want invites to parties and meetings, then have to spend months getting there. The "7 day" thing is assuming the horse travels at 48km/h without stop or fluctuation in speed. 48 x 24 is 1152, which times by 7, mens we have a diameter of 8064 km. To put it into perspective, Earth has a diameter of 12,756 km. So it's not much smaller.

Do not mean to correct you, however what you solved for was not diameter, it was half circumference. If the horse was running straight through the earth, you would be right, however the horse runs along the surface which is round. True diameter would be twice the distance you solved for over pi. 8064 times 2 over pi is 5133.7 km
Actually, I am somewhat amenable to the situation practical considerations have put me in vis-a-vis the map. There is no line you can cross that before you do, they do nor care but after you do, they kill you. There is just an area that you are very likely to get killed in, with no sharp lines.
The question was not rhetorical. Alf runs his own forum composed of many of the people in this thread. Where better to prove or disprove the theory?

Being GM doesn't earn you automatic trust, and I for one sincerely question anyone who automatically trusts someone just because they're GM.

True that yo. I once had a GM let a guy have gundam wing style mechs but would not let me put cannons on boats in a fantasy setting.

However, if I pop over to your forums, how many complications will I find?
Doublepost: Can we just assume the world is earth sized?
Trust does not factor. I do not believe people are powergaming when they forget a possible famine, they just don't think about it. Random events make the story more relatable as nobody's plans go off without a hitch.
It really should be bigger. Circumnavigation should take months, not a few weeks.
Also, Haz, I am thinking of having Wildlings kidnapped and raised from birth to be the personfication of Suehan valkyries. Can they be raised in my semi-civilized society, as in, is it possible?
General relations statement. With everyone but Lorenvolk and Crayven, neutral or better. Relations with Lorenvolk are openly hostile, Crayven relations are extremely unfriendly.
