"I think we'll get along well, Miyamoto. I'm High Reverend Billy Jameson, but you can just call me Billy." Billy punctuated his introduction by pointing a thumb at himself. "I'm not all too sure about this tournament thing, though. All I know is that we're going to some town over in moonland to find some sort of wish, but other people are also gonna be there and we'll have to fight them off. I dunno, the details we got were kinda hazy - I think the torture team goes a bit overboard.

"Anyway, you said you have a selfish request. What's it gonna be, a burger on me?"
"Ain't nothing wrong with my eyes, pardner," Billy replied as the samurai scanned the room. He allowed the man some time to take it all in, as it wasn't a pretty sight. Even Billy, who knew the holy nature of the bloodshed, was uneasy in the face of so many people he knew lying dead before him.

However, it seemed the slanty-eyed man was not at all put off by the corpses. "Nah, we ain't afraid of sudoku 'round these parts. Hell, there's one in the news every day! And, well, I guess you could say they went to rejoin their lord... They just happened to bring you here in the process. Who are you, anyway?"

A door opened and admitted two black-robed men, who immediately set about cleaning the room in silence.
Three Weeks Prior

Flickering candles in the small office leaned as a white-robed man entered. The elder sitting at the desk looked up to the newcomer, who silently nodded. The elder understood, wordlessly rising and following the robed man out of the office.

The preparations for the ritual had taken some time. Everything needed to be perfect if they were to perform a miracle, and a miracle was exactly what they needed. Sacrifices had always been necessary since the dawn of time, but the Cult of the Lord's Light had too much riding on this ritual to allow the sacrifices to be in vain. God's love was with them, but love was no substitute for hard work.

The elder entered the room where the ritual would take place and made his way to the head of the room. The robed man joined the ranks of other similarly-dressed cultists. All stood at rapt attention, waiting for the elder to speak.

"Today," he began, his voice quavering from age, "our Order begins a new era. With this Miracle, we shall empower our High Reverend, Mister Billy Jameson, to spread the light of our Lord in even the deepest of shadows. We shall shine light where the Church seeks to hide it, and we shall give glory to His name forevermore. Rejoice, as through your sacrifice, the world will be saved. Go with love like His son, and know peace everlasting, hallelujah."

The room shook as the cultists gathered responded with a resounding "AMEN!" Five black-robed cultists standing around the inscription to be used for the ritual began chanting as the white-robed cultists began passing a ceremonial dagger through their ranks. One by one they yelled an impassioned "Deus vult!" before driving the knife into their throats. The inscription between the chanters glowed brighter with each sacrifice.

At last, the knife made its way to the elder. Before sacrificing himself, he turned to face Billy Jameson. "Child, may God's grace protect you in the heathen lands. There is no telling what atrocities await you at the hands of both them and the Church."

"Rest easy, Father," Billy responded gently. "God is on our side. We shall meet again with the Rapture."

"That we shall, Child. Deus vult!"

Billy bent to retrieve the knife, wiping the blade clean on the elder's clothes. With it, the strode to the ritual inscription, stopping three steps from the center. He held his hands out before him, then drew the silvery blade across his left palm. Blood pooled in his hand as he recited the words he'd been given, finishing the lines just as blood began to drip out of his hand and onto the inscription.

The inscription reacted immediately. The glow stopped, then red light began to spread from where Billy's blood had fallen. The prana collected flowed through the inscription, powering the spell. The chanting cultists stopped and left the room, leaving Billy alone with the inscription and several hundred cultist corpses.

In a brilliant flash, the ritual came to completion. Before Billy stood a completely unfamiliar man with rough features and a noticeable smell. Billy quickly looked him over and, before he had a chance to say anything, asked him, "Say, what's with those slanty eyes?"

Name/Title: High Reverend Billy Jameson

Gender: Male

Age: 37

Personality: A red-blooded American man with a love of God and guns. He is charismatic and full of infectious passion when standing behind a podium. He is a born leader, inspiring others with both his words and actions. He wants nothing more than to see his father's dream come to fruition, though he'd also like to build a family of his own someday.

Cult History: Jimmy Jameson, an all-American priest of the Church, was a pious, charismatic man. Once an orphan taken in by a mage conman, the Church saved him, raising him to spread the grace of God. That changed when he was invited to join the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament. He believed that through the Assembly the Church was attempting to steal away God's light from the world. After receiving his first mission, he cut all ties with the Church and began gathering an uprising in the American wilds.

The uprising took form as the Church of the Lord's Light. Americans became radicalized by Jimmy's charismatic sermons (and maybe more than a little magecraft learned from his adoptive father to help things along), and soon an empire of megachurches sprung up across America, with a cult of extremists at its heart. This cult sought to interfere with the tasks carried out by the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament in any way possible, tapping into magecraft and torturing any Assembly members captured for information (though normally coming up with only weak leads).

The growth of the Church of the Lord's Light was halted entirely when the Church delivered a devastating blow: A Templar assassin killed Jimmy Jameson, leaving the Church of the Lord's Light leaderless. However, it was not long before the Church of the Lord's Light instated Jimmy Jameson's son Billy as their High Reverend, allowing business to continue as normal. The Church of the Lord's Light noted a greatly slowed rate of growth, though whether that is due to Billy's lesser skills or due to the Church's efforts has never been confirmed.

One year before the Holy Grail War, the cult caught what they believed to be a big lead from a torture subject: an event that the Church played a large role in would occur in the next year in a distant land. The cult pried more and more into the matter, pulling every contact and torturing all they could to prepare for the event. The Church saw an opportunity to cut the cult once and for all through the minor event and fed it false information, outlining a ritual requiring mass suicide and hinting that champions were heading to Fuyuki to gain a chance for a wish. The already radicalized cult made the decision obvious to their irrational minds: declare a champion, then devise and perform the ritual.

It was only natural that the cult would declare their High Reverend, Billy Jameson, as their champion, much to the Church's pleasure - the head of the cult would be placing himself in danger, and likely without an actual Servant, as the ritual they'd fed was false. However, the Church didn't expect the cult to manage to devise a proper ritual, much less to create a chant that allowed devotees to send small amounts of prana to a Mystic Code so Billy could maintain his Servant. Three months before the Holy Grail War, one of the companies heavily affiliated with the Church of the Lord's Light purchased a cruiseline company that was financially unstable and began running cruises that stopped near Fuyuki, allowing the devotees to be near enough to make a difference.

With the greatly weakened cult behind him, Billy Jameson set off to do his father proud and win this wish thing, whatever it was, to shine God's light upon all people.

Biography: While running the Church of the Lord's Light, Jimmy Jameson raised his son, Billy Jameson, to be his successor, passing on his knowledge, faith, and desire to stop the Church and bring the light of God to all people. On that last part, however, he might not have been completely thorough, as leading an insular life in rural America can leave one with certain preconceptions.

Billy almost literally grew up in a barn, living the first 20 years of his life on a farm and traveling only to act as a publicity tool to recruit to his father's church. His education, when not given by his father, was carried out by members of his father's church. Among them was an underachiever from the Mage's Association, who imparted the very basics of general magecraft (less than an actual class would provide) to the youth.

The rest is history - Cult History, that is. See above.

Magecraft:
Basic Miracles: Billy's basic magical education allows him to use General Magecraft spells except Familiar Creation, Threads of Consciousness, Floating, Transfer of Consciousness, and Mystic Pass.
Radical Miracle: An empowered form of suggestion that infuses the user's words with prana. The less likely a person is to perform a suggestion, the more suggestion is needed. It's impossible to make a person do something they wouldn't, though it is possible to change their ideals over time. The Jameson family's specialty.

The Lord's Link: Amplifier Mystic Code. Provides prana from the Church of the Lord's Light's prayers to ease the burden of Billy's Servant.

@Unoedipal
I flipped a coin to continue not taking stats seriously at all. It landed as tails, so the stat is now C. I won't bother reposting the full sheet for a single letter change.
@Unoedipal
Changes made: Jimmy was an orphan adopted by a conman who used magecraft to enhance his cons, then was saved by the Church. Megachurches specified. Wording of the cult learning of the Grail War modified to make it obvious the lead was big only to the cult. The Church of the Lord's Light is now operating a cruise line to ferry large numbers of believers into range of Fuyuki for prana assistance. Stat changed to "B-" to continue not taking stats seriously.

Updated sheet:
Magecraft: Church Thaumaturgy. He had learned only that one spell that Billy now has.

Torture: If you'd like I could always change it to have been information given to Jimmy during his time in the Church. I just felt the torture and the Church attempting to make the cult commit suicide fruitlessly was a better "story" overall.

Blip on Radar: Have you seen those American megachurches? Think of those, only an empire stretching across America instead of just one. That's the scale I'm thinking, with the actual "cult" being the overly enthralled believers.

Meager Energy: There is a good reason I went with "ease the burden of" instead of "supply the prana necessary to maintain" in The Lord's Link's description.

Circuits: Honestly, the whole magic section was, to me, a big "look at this shit Billy's never going to use!" buffet. The aim was to have stats that would be utterly useless, and the idea of having super few circuits that work really well was too amusing to pass. I don't mind dropping it (it's a meaningless letter to me), but I'd like your opinion after having heard my reasoning first.
Not!Kojiro was summoned as Assassin, which is the physically weakest class. From my understanding, the Heroic Spirit provides a basis for the stats, then the class provides modifiers of some sort, most notable of which would be Berserker.

However, you're right in saying that you never said Musashi's stats should be worse. I'm just tired of the sour grapes over stats.

On that note, here's my sheet.

That also doesn't say that he had worse stats. Can we stop comparing stats now?
@Unoedipal

Am I allowed to say that Musashi' AGI is outrageously high? Come on, he's as fast as Not!Kojiroh (if I'm not wrong) which is supposed to be rather hard to match.

Also, @IncredibleBee, you at imagining one thing wrong. The problem with sword fighting King Arthur is that Prana Burst, out means that things that touch Arthuria literally go poof. I mean, it required a godly swordsman that far surpassed her skill and was so fan good that he made the world give up and grant him a shared of the 2nd Magic and an abnormally week made sword that could cut through steel to even that handicap, this at least most mean something.

EDIT:

Damn swipe keyboard screwing my post. I hate it, but simply can't give up.

You're completely missing the point.

Prana Burst is a completely separate skill from Excalibur (the sword). King Arthur was used as my example because he has a famous Noble Phantasm sword. On top of that, that isn't how Prana Burst works, so your point's moot.
