Personality:Naoto is a bit unstable, and her sense of right and wrong are skewed at times. She is a bit closed minded, and has trouble straying from mission orders, even if the situation would make it obvious that a need is arising to do so. Naoto has idolized Shinobi from a young age, and this has led to self esteem issues, as her idolized idea of Shinobis don't match up to her own self image, leading her to believe that her becoming a Shinobi is an impossible feat. Luckily for any higher ranking ninjas, Naoto has a large amount of respect for anyone in an authoritative position, and she almost outright worships Mizukage.
History:Naoto was given birth to by Arisa Shiratori, but she soon abandoned Naoto and Naoto's father, Akio Shiratori. Akio's parents were Tomohiko Shiratori, and Remi Shiratori (again Father and Mother respectively). Tomohiko and Remi moved to Kiragakure after producing only one child. Tomohiko was from Konoha, as was Remi, and they sought better living conditions then were available in Konoha. They succeded. . . To an extent. Arisa Shiratori's parents were Akahito Arakawa, and Saito Arakawa, who moved to Kirigakure from Konohagakure after a large dispute with a local company. Arisa left Naoto because of a firm belief that Akio could never provide for himself, much less a child, and she didn't want to be there when things "Went to hell." Naoto was almost completly unnaffected by this betrayal (directly at least), as she was at the tender age of 1 and a half years old. Akio on the other hand was shocked, and slowly reclused into a life of heavy drinking. Luckily for Naoto, Akio wasn't an angry drunk, because no matter how many times Akio's hands went for the Saki, Akio's hands never went for Naoto. Despite this Naoto has sworn to never touch alchohol, as she has seen how destructive it can be. Naoto's interest in the ninja academy was obvious even at the age of 5. Naoto's true inspiration for joinng came at around the age of 4 after she and her father were mugged on the way home from the butcher. After handing over the money (and meat) willingly, a passing ninja came to Akio's rescure, and got Akio's hard earned money back. Naoto's schooling in the ninja academy went quite well, as she focused on her studies. Near the end it was hard for her to keep her attention totally on schooling since her father's alchoholic tendencies escalated rather rapidly. Despite this, Naoto finished near the top of her class.
