Dammit, smell! Why do you always lie about the taste of things!? Bread is never as good as you say it is! And vanilla extract tastes like petrified ass! PETRIFIED ASS!

Punching out Nazis and wrestling a yeti, sitting at home with some festive Spaghetti, rigging my boots up with high-power springs... These are a few of my favorite things!

Still trying to figure out whether the Crusades qualify as actual wars, or a steaming hot mess of clusterfarkery best accompanied by the Benny Hill theme...

Huh... Just learned what Cringepics are recently. I now have a whole new set of individuals to direct my impotent hatred towards...

I think the time spent writing a rant about random idiots the forum may or may not have even seen/read about would be much better spent watching all of the Slow-Mo Guys' videos, so if you're feeling especially stressed, just pretend you read a reasonably nice rant (if you can't settle for anything less than the actual thing, just watch that one video in which a guy in a gimp suit tells Tumblr to kill themselves. I think that's well in keeping with the theme here.) and then spend the next few hours watching guys smash tvs and play with paint. You'll be much better off.
Ech.
Yay! And yeah, the force won't be used very much as a power for Yski so much as it'll be an excuse as to "How is this legally blind non-jedi using a lightsaber and not killing himself!?" since lightswordsmanship is probably the only thing that goes well with his amphistaff skillset.

As far as missions go, I think idea 1 or 3 might be best.

Boop?
Yoink.
What happens next... shit, that's the unnerving part.

My money's on either the Mad Max scenario or the Anthem one. Too early to tell which quadrant of the post-overthrow-madness compass we'll end up with, but I'm betting on those two corners, because I'd like to think I'd die during their establishment and not have to deal with any of that shit.

Worst case is that Tumblr takes over, because then I'll only die several years into the post-apocalypse, and likely because of blood pressure, assuming I'm not drained of all my damn dirty testosterone and indoctrinated until I die on the inside instead...
I'm interested! I'm really feeling the idea of a roleplay that takes place after the original trilogy, since I'm sure a big overthrow of a powerful regime via angry idealists is sure to lead to lawlessness, vigilantism, rowdiness, celebrations, etc. and bring all sorts of unsavory characters out of the shadows, bringing bounty hunting into a new golden age, at least in places where bounty hunters don't usually have to go. Also, I really want an amphistaff, but that's beside the point.
Boink while it's still fresh.
So, during my hiatus, I've had a lot of time to procrastinate, and during my deep and profound procrastinations, I've had a lot of time to think, so I did.

What I propose is a game in which we build a world to roleplay in, (big locations and lore in the distance, or perhaps towns and dungeons wherever they become relevant.) we all GM our party(ies) on quests and plot arcs of our own design. There will be badass, there will be adventure, there will be money, and bodily fluids of most every kind!

The thing, though, is that this world, no matter what we may put in it, is all fantasy genres combined. The likes of King Arthur will fight alongside the likes of Wong Fei Hung. Pirate villains will do battle with Furusiya heroes. Skalds and Ronin alike will do battle with dragons, youkai, and eldritch monsters. This is a place where all worlds collide, which, I suppose would be the appeal, as opposed to a normal sandbox where a streamlined sort of single-genre world seems to be the unspoken rule, eclecticism is encouraged. High magic and low-renaissance technology is where it's at.

Who's interested in this?
