Vladimir walked into the presence of a mighty dragon, he looked up through the glass lenses staring at death itself. the dragon moved and lowered its head to inspect him. Vladimir stood his ground although his heart was racing. when the Dragons great eye was level with him it spoke "I am Ying the dragon of Death who might you be mortal?" Snapped the dark dragon as he looked at him with sharp snarl across of his face. The voice sounded as though it was simply echoing through Vladimir's soul. as though it wasn't sound in his ears but reached deeper and that the dragon was speaking to his soul, not his body. he felt confident that the dragon could speak with a deaf man.

Vladimir thought carefully for a brief moment, 'What i do next decides my future.' Vladimir decides that the dragon deserved the deepest respect. He slowly drops to his knees as though in worship of the dragon, he opened his mouth a fraction and realized he must say something. He introduces himself as he had always done, from peasants to generals to kings and death would be no different. He speaks, unsure if the dragon could hear his well so he speaks up with a firm strength to his voice. "I am Apothecary Vladimir, but most simply call me Apothecary" as he spoke he realized that there was still some fear in the voice, and the tone trembled briefly.
And done. Sorry it's short. I was having a harder time thinking up anything.

I think I just need some more story to go on.
Vladimir stood seeing those around him as the great dragon spoke. he locked his jaw beneath his mask in grim determination preparing to seal his fate upon the throne. the dragon faced him and described the great Dragon of Death, he stared back through the glass lenses in his mask. being this close to a true dragon filled his mind with fear. he knew that the dragon would not kill him without cause, probably, but the primal core of his mind screamed for him to run and hide. Vladimir kept himself calm through sheer force of will, and the memory of the Dragon's mention of Immortality if he should succeed. the comfort of safety from that eternal sleep.

Vladimir turns and finds the Throne of Death, constructed from clean bleached bone and what appeared to be a small dragon's skull built above the head where it would be visible over the one who sits there. he reaches out before he sits down touches the skull and feels the spark, the sensation would be impossible to describe in any words Vladimir knew. 'My fate has been sealed, I have become Death. Shepard of the dead.' he considers for a moment and takes his seat. As he does, the portal opens before him.

Name: Apothecary Vladimir

Age: 45

Dragon your the Hero of: Cerpetin

Personality: Fearful of death, he combats his terror of his own mortality by understanding it. He works very hard to know all he can about the human body and its function, this desire has given him a cold calculation when it comes to his work. over many years he has become numb to witnessing death and the dead, but he still can not face his own mortality and desires to live as long as possible.

History: when he was young, his parents and siblings where taken by a plague that had ravaged his homeland. Vladimir was spared but the loss crushed the innocence from him. He was taken to be the apprentice under an Apothecary who trained him in herbs, minerals and crystals. He became well versed in herbal remedies and (non-magical) potions. As he became old enough to truly understand why he was learning such things and what had happened to his family the grim fascination with death was sparked within him. It was not an evil or cruel motivation, he just wanted to know, to understand. as he learned the fear of his own death grew within him. he was afflicted with a crushing despair. For if he, and everyone else dies, what does it matter? in a thousand years what will my actions mean?

the despair was the tainted soil in which grew a purity of desire, he worked furiously in two ways. the first was the study of Alchemical and Medical sciences. This study was an attempt to prolong life and keep the body as healthy and strong as possible and to heal the damage cause by injury or disease. this study directly fed into his other labor, he donated himself wholly to aiding the population wherever he went. curing he sick whenever possible or healing those wounded by accident or violence. eventually this lead him into being recruited by the armies of the Atreites during the war with the Harkonan. however he was disliked when the army found out that he was healing all of those wounded in the battles, Atreites and Harkonan.

Likes: Charity, Healing, Growth (plants, people, societal)

Dislikes: Carelessness, Stupidity, cruelty (the desire to be cruel and hurt others needlessly)

Powers:
Corruption: This power Grants Vladimir the ability to spread horrific diseases (such as Necrosis, Bubonic Plague) by touch if he desires to.

Walk to the Underworld: This power allows Vladimir to briefly open a rift into the realm of death. (best used for escape or quick return to his Dragon)
