well, i wont do a female character (because i would be a horrible female) fine fine...

How about Colossus?
Bah... ohkay how... about... uh... Ghost rider?
Well, yeah. i wasnt modeling him off anyone. but, i dunno, the Juggernaut or someone like that i might try my hand at.
Emplate??

((yes, i totally cheated to figure that out, i had no real idea))

Also, is the character semi-acceptable?
The idea i had isnt done yet but ill just toss it out, see if you like it.

i thought it would be fun, if i cant do this one i might be able to think up something else.

So, I am thinking about playing.

Could I do an original mutant character? I have a vague idea that would need fleshing out.
I like this idea, I'm not as well versed in marvel Canon as I'm sure many players will be. But I really like it.

I'll work on some ideas prolly try for a CS tomorrow night or Tuesday.

Edit- oh, I didn't see that the character had to be canon, I'll give it a think, but I'm not so sure.
Jason leaves the briefing room feeling energized, 8-10 enemies verses what seems to be an even force of mercenaries. 'Could be diecy' he thinks to himself as he enters the hangar with his FRAME. To steady his nerves and calm his mind he begins maintence of his FRAME. he field strips his dual Auto-cannons and oils them up well, to assure himself that there will be no unexpected complications in battle. Once he finishes with the Guns he checks over the missile launcher, making sure that there is no chance for a misfire. once all these checks had been completed he looked at the clock, 15 minutes until the mission. He loads all the ammunition into the FRAME and climbs into the cockpit. running several systems diagnostics that only take a few moments.

Once his FRAME checked out to his satisfaction Jason powers it on and moves around lightly. He tests the range of motion in his arms and legs, it was the same as it always had been, but its a good reminder that the FRAME doesn't quite move the same way as a human. checking the on board clock it's 10 more minutes until the mission starts, he mutters to himself "Come on! Im ready for the fight!." with nothing better to do, he shadow boxes for a couple minutes to get the engine and himself warmed up for battle, with only five minutes remaining he stops and just breathes deeply, waiting for hell.
hmmn, that was a little shorter than i had planned, but i hope thats up to standard.
Jason sits in the waiting area somewhat removed from the other pilots studying specifications and blueprints of his own FRAME trying to work out what aftermarket modifications to do to it. he needed cash to fund the mods, but he enjoyed how the FRAMEs worked. What he enjoyed more was the amount of damage one could do. while he was studying someone announced that they where allowed in, he follows the rest of the pilots and finds his chair.

Jason sits listening to the briefing and mulling over the details. while he wasn't a grizzled veteran or anything FRAME combat wasn't foreign to him either. he liked the idea of a trial by fire, it fit his particular idiom. Jason didn't know anything about the Panthers Reputation but neither did he especially care, simply he wanted to make some cash and build a real war machine.

“We're heading out in an hour,” Cecilia informed the pilots. “Until then, make any preparations to your FRAMEs and be ready to move. Any questions?”

Jason asked in a neutral tone "is this a payed test?"
