Him out of his "won't take anything seriously" thing. And the blue dragon will be an interesting mix as eh tend to have little respect for mankind, a man of the sea should fascinate Porylucia :)

Now, you have a few options. You could post a bonding scene, the learning to fly scene, and the arrival at e forest garden, or I'd be okay with you just jumping in at the forest garden. You could write a short paragraph of your character recalling the bonding to let us know what kind of challenge Pory presented :) it's all up to you.
