History:
Zokura was born the eldest of the Evenity children and therefore was placed in line to succeed the throne. From a young age she was tutored and trained to be both an ambassador for her kingdom to the pokemon inhabitants of the region and their leaders, the legendaries, and a noble ruler over the loyal members of her future kingdom. She spent her summers watching her younger sister playing out in the courtyards or running off to visit the town while she sat in a class learning about the history of her people. She was close with her brother and sister, but at the same time, distant in thanks to her responsibilities and duties as successor to the throne. Despite her longing to run about and play with her siblings, she studied hard and became the image of grace and wisdom by the time she reached her 18th birthday. It was on this day that her training was officially over, though her parents expected she display self discipline and continue to educate herself and fine tune her skills; she would not let them down, but she would not consume her life in her studies any longer.
After that year, her life changed, though her roots remained. She and her companion Suicune, who had first appeared at the castle on the day of her birth celebration. Suicune had sensed it was her time to offer her loyalty to the leaders of men and did so by building a beautiful ice sculpture in the center of the ballroom before all the guests. The sculpture depicted a massive, icy version of herself kneeling in fealty to a tiny baby reaching its hands out from a beautiful bassinet. When the last flake of frost settled, the icy hound made its way over to where the princess lay, swaddled in her own bassinet, and bowed. From that day on, the two never each other's sides. With the birth of Zokura's two younger siblings, the family was greatly pleased to welcome the arrival of the second and third of the legendary hounds, brothers to suicune. It was a blessing to the land to have the trio of elemental legendaries station at the side of the kingdom's royal future. After more than 2 decades of peace, the king and queen were secure in their belief that all was sound and would be for generations to come, and so, they departed to extend their alliances and gain knowledge of the far kingdoms and their rulers.
The queen-to-be was left in charge of the kingdom and of her younger siblings. Each day, Zokura would rise and take a seat at her vanity. She would look at her reflection, unblinking, and promise herself that she would not let her parents down, and that she would serve and lead this kingdom to the best of her abilities. And with a deep breath and a cool breeze from the icy beast at her side, she would start each new day.

Many centuries ago the legendary pokemon of the world were not as they are today. No, long ago the great beings of the pokemon world lived side by side with mankind, unafraid and trusting of their intentions. Things were simpler back then. There were no evil machines out to catch pokemon and contain them for evil uses, no mechanisms to extract the power of the legendaries, only trust and companionship: the ideal.
In the land of Urael there lived a princess in a great castle. Her parents had left her in charge of her future kingdom so they could travel the world gaining knowledge of their fellow kings and queens of the lands. The princess held no fear for her parents' absence, for she had by her side a legendary companion who would protect her at all costs. As if that wasn't enough, her younger siblings were all about the castle and the royal guard wouldn't have let a joltik slip past them. The princess felt safe. For weeks she went about her duties, knowing full well what was expected of her. With the help of the legendaries that called the castle their home, the kingdom was peaceful and well sustained. All was well... or so it seemed.
One morning the princess saw through her window, a dark shadow seeping over the edge of the horizon. Though far in the distance and hardly noticeable at all, a terrible chill crept down her spine. She summoned a meeting with her brothers and sisters and the kingsguard. This shadow was an ominous sign, they all agreed, and while the king and queen were absent, it was the duty of the princess and those around her to find out the source of darkness and stop it, if need be.

+The Rundown+
We live in a time before pokeballs, before team rocket/plasma/magma/anything else, before pokedexes, before the legendaries became the elusive pokemon we all love to hunt down and catch. Instead, the legendaries help rule the lands with the kings and queens. I will be playing the role of the princess, Zokura. There will be the following slots available:
Siblings (Royal Family)
Kings' Guard
Now, the siblings are all younger than Zokura, even if by 10 months (busy queen eh?) Don't worry though, Zokura is 26 so we won't be playing children. The siblings may each choose a legendary from the list to have as their "companion" and the kings' guard will choose from a different list. If you really want one that's not on the lists, PM me. The guards are all well trained in whatever talent you choose, be it battling, stealth, stradegy, healing. Just choose one :) The siblings and Zokura will have their own talents of course, be they acrobats, scholars, alchemists, etc (being royalty they were raised to flourish in their talents.) We're going to start off by going out to investigate the dark shadow on the horizon. And that's how the adventure will begin :)
Pokemon "catching":
We won't be "catching" any pokemon, no. Things are much more chivalrous back in these days. You'll battle a pokemon and it will vow its loyalty to you until it has paid its debt or you offer it its leave. Your only permanent pokemon will be your legendary which will have sworn an oath to serve the land by serving you. No pokeballs, no pokedexes, no "sprays" for healing. It'll be a fun time.

It would appear so :) well, as long as youngster Joey had a hand in the breeding, it's practically a pseudo.
The way I went about choosing legendaries for the higher legendary list are the ides that would be keeping the balances of nature in line and frankly don't have to time to dapple in the day to day lives of humans. I think the ones I put up for choices are fair and don't allow a huge imbalance in fairness due to size or abilities.
Also, id possibly consider more than one pokemon, but if you choose to do multiple others, then you cannot have a legendary. And I'd want them to make sense, no random team building. And no more than 2 pseudos or three classic. Again, PM me on these and we'll talk about it. This is supposed to be a royal group of folk who were offered service by the most powerful pokemon available to help them in their keeping on the peace of man, not a journey through kanto ;)

It for the guard position id be fine with you having a kalos pokemon :) I'd hope you'd chose a pseudo legendary as the guard is the elite force of the king, expected to keep the company of legends or mear legends ^~^

Ooh, I can't believe I forgot kalos. Hmm, I'm not sure if Yveltal, Zygarde, or Xerneas would be considered companions. I think they'd be more Higher legendary seeing as they control such major elements, much like the D/P trio.
