Well that's just silly.

Capello's blue eyes watched Kimiko stomp out of the room, his face betraying no emotion outside of it's usual smirk.

"That's a good point Hime-chan."

In the entry way, Victor gave a nod and a smile to the bartender, stepping out of Kimiko's way. He had seen the girl around, she was mostly absorbed in her own thoughts or seeming to be fuming about something the fox said or did. He focused back on the soaked man.

"Thomas then."

The girl in the oversized sweater that had walked in suddenly blitzed past as Victor raised a hand to say hello. Thomas seemed somewhat perturbed by this, but moved on, giving the boy a clap on the shoulder and offering a drink. The Jabberwocky smiled politely, deciding against telling the man that alcohol caused...odd...behavior with him. He decided instead to head a bit more into the lobby, taking up a position behind the sofa as he watched the proceedings, hands loosely behind his back. His violet eyes fell on Capello, who merely grinned at the boy. Victor gave a sigh, pushing his glasses up with one hand.

"Mister Campana, I thi-"

The liar's hands straightened the boy's collar, this Capello sporting a shoddy wrapping of gauze on one arm, revealing it to be the real fox.

"Just Capello, Doc."

Victor gave a yelp at the sudden appearance, leaping forward and nearly tripping over the couch, his cheeks turning brilliant tomato red as he turned to scold at Capello...who was gone again, the original illusion chuckling. The fox focused on Joseph.

"Generally, the way it works is that our tenants choose a bodyguard they feel they can trust, and the bodyguard agrees to protect them. It isn't as easy as just making a choice. The tenant is trusting someone with their life, and the bodyguard is agreeing to give up their life if necessary. Neither is an easy thing to ask of someone you barely know."

Capello gave a shrug. Victor was rapidly trying to smooth his coat and hair, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks as he straightened his glasses and hurriedly walked out of the room, heading up the stairs to try and hide his embarrassment. The fox continued.

"However, at this point, I don't think it'd be wise for any of the tenants to leave without one of us accompanying them. And I highly encourage everyone to start seriously thinking about their partners. We don't need to make any rash decisions, but this situation has given us a curve ball to deal with."

The fox chewed on a cinnamon stick, folding his arms as he sat down on the couch next to Marie. So many new tenants. So many new bodyguards. Too many new faces, too many variables. He trusted the Landlord's judgement, probably the only thing he trusted in this world really, but still. It was hard to emphasize caution and still expect the tenants to have a chance at a normal life. Partnerships couldn't be forced onto others, it was something that had to feel right. He had several tenants under his protection, and it always felt...weird. They weren't comfortable around him, which was only natural, given his nature. But worse, he didn't feel comfortable around them. He would watch them, observe them. Protect them, he had never faltered in his duty. But when he looked at them, he didn't see a precious life to protect. It was just...something to do. That tended to make his contracts very...awkward.

Victor, finally regaining his cool, adjusted his cuffs, giving a sigh. The liar was the sultan of surprises, the Jabberwocky had learned that mere minutes from entering the Terrace. Victor's jumpy nature and habit of burning a brilliant red when shocked had made him a high priority target it seemed. He cleared his throat, took a few steps down the hall, and immediately jammed his hip on an end table, causing his hand to slam onto the door of 5B as he crumpled in pain.

"For crying out loud...."
I aim to please.

EDIT: Will post today probably, just had the most panic inducing night at work.

EDIT 2: Posted, tried to pull Boop_I'm_A_Dragon and Chenzor into some interaction, felt like they were slightly out of the loop since everyone else seems to have interactions going for them. It feels exceptionally chaotic right now, so hopefully no one feels left out, it's very hard to keep track of everything going on at times.
"Hey Yuen, I got you a smoothie, here."
Yuen - 'I"M UNDER ATTACK CLAW EVERYONE SPRAY PEE EVERYWHERE THIS IS WHAT CATS DO FOR DEFENSE MY GOD THEY'RE EVERYWHERE I WANT TO BE BACK IN KOREA WHERE PEOPLE DON'T TALK TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
"....o...kay, I'll just leave it here then, alright?"
Yuen - "HISSSSS!"
"....should I have not gotten mango?"
Yuen - *wretches hairball*
"Oh, strawberry, my bad."

EDIT: Totally doodling characters from this again.
*points at Victor who was talking to Thomas also in the doorway* You technically have two people near you. Don't worry, you'll get involved.
Actually Len, I'm gonna send you an idea, feel free to use it if you wish.

EDIT: The Capiko ship just breached the harbor of my heart hard.

Usually in RPs like these there is a shortage of guys.

Normally, yeah. Which is why it always surprises me when there's just a man mountain in the roster. Capello has so much competition!

Victor is forever ignored in all situations. Probably because the person he was interacting with is gone now. *strokes chin* I'll fix that later.

Chenzor: The layout is just kinda...amorphous at the moment. The only thing that's been really established is that the lobby is next to the main entry, and the kitchen is also nearby that. Past that, we've just kinda got hallways with rooms and a pool on the roof. Keep it vague, you'll be fine.
Holy crap Blazion.

Hello~I heard you were looking for someone to fill that last spot of yours. I'd be happy to make a character, but first, can you explain to me in what direction this RP is moving and how fast the pace is? Tell me of the story so far, and so on! :)

Most of this can be answered in depth in the first OOC, but I'll give you a super quick overview.

The direction: Intercharacter dynamics. Meaning it's focused on relationship building *not necessarily romantic kind, though that is encouraged* between characters.
The pace: There's some quiet moments, but usually nothing longer then three days or so of silence.
The story: The tenants live in Primrose Terrace, where for whatever reason, they're given a personal bodyguard to help give them a chance at a regular life.

EDIT: That awkward moment when you say "Romance is encouraged" and it's 7 guys to 4 girls *one of which is going after girls as well*
Basically Everyone

Capello bit one finger in amusement as he watched Gin fumble around in her high. Seemed the venom tweaked her brain a bit. He was rather glad it hadn't seemed to affect him as significantly. He quirked one brow as one of the new bodyguards walked in, asking if everyone was alright. Marie seemed to be calm and in control of the situation now, allowing Capello to finally acknowledge the seething Kimiko glaring daggers into the side of his skull. Instead of fully looking at her, he simply tilted his head to one side, giving her a sideways glance with a grin as he raised one finger to his lips.

"Hime-chan, I'm fine. A bite from a half dead whelp of a beast is foreplay at best. I already bandaged myself. I appreciate the concern though."

He suddenly gave a wide grin and a wink.

"But if you'd prefer to check my body in detail, I can think of worse fates out there. I didn't realize you were so forward. What about that mystery man you were gonna meet earlier? Such a heart-breaker!"

From his actual hiding spot, the fox bit the gauze before tying it around his arm that was now cleaned and bound. Shoddily, mind you. Still, he'd rather do it himself and have the bandage be a little loose then let someone else paw and fret over him. Or at least, that's what he told himself. The thought of being seen injured, even such a minor wound, made him feel...exposed. Capello's eyes roamed to the doorway as he heard someone give a tentative call out. He recognized the voice, and with a soft breath, brought another illusion of himself walking out of the wall next to Thomas.

"Crazy weather today eh Shandy? You're in late. Or early, depending on how you see it."

Shandy because he was a Londoner. Admittedly not one of his best, but calling him Cane seemed insensitive, even for Capello. The liar blinked as his eyes focused on Victor, who, while standing in the doorway, had turned to greet Thomas and instead watched Capello walk out of the wall. It took the boy several seconds before coming to a conclusion in his head and shaking off the initial shock.

"Oh, hey Doc! Didn't see you there. You been listening in?"

"Ja fuschs. I'm glad no one vas hurt seriously."

Victor had learned by the second day to ignore Capello's nicknames for everyone, and just go with it. Giving a reaction just made it worse. The Jabberwocky gave a polite nod to Thomas, not seeming to mind that he had gone unnoticed. Story of his life really. Mostly.

"Hallo, I'm Victor Steiner, one of the new residents."

Capello seemed to have disappeared, leaving Victor feeling incredibly awkward at the silence he had expected the fox to fill. The boy fidgeted, then pointed into the lobby, his already noticeable German accent getting thicker as he felt his face start to flush.

"Um...I guess someone vas attacked, ja?"
You don't need him to necessarily barge in, Victor is observing from the doorway, Shin can easily do the same, or overhear, or anything like that.

EDIT: That awkward time in an RP before everything happens but after a lot of introductions have been made. Don't be shy people, crowd in. As Viridian has stated, this is about intercharacter dynamics, so if you don't talk, you won't be all dynamic with each other and break hearts and all that fun stuff!
No worries, it was more for my own use than anything else.
