Bio

I'm weird and love Adam Lambert.

Oh, and this, too.

I'm good with nicknames. My friend has short blonde hair, and it's really spiky. It sometimes makes him look like a shark when we're swimming, so I call him Sharkie or SharkBoy.

Valen sighed when she got no response and headed for the bank of the river. she took off her boots and socks and waded in, not caring if her jeans got wet. The flames still flickered. Val looked at the flowing water and thought what the hell. I probably stink any way. Damned demon exploded all over me. yuck. She dove in and scrubbed her herself underwater, getting rid of the dirt and grime. She resurfaced and climbed out. She willed her body warm again, clothes steaming. This way she was never cold. She went and leaned against a cabin wall and closed her eyes, wanting to relax, if only for a moment. It had taken her six months to find her way back, slaying monsters as she went and earning a scar or two in the process.
Valen stepped out and saw a boy introducing himself. she walked up to him. "Can I help? I need something to do until the Hephæstus leader figures out where I'm sleeping tonight." She smiled at him tiredly. "I'm Valen. Call me Val." Val sighed as flames started laping at her skin. At least they were tiny this time.
Val sighed wearily as she stepped into the Hephæstus cabin, unintentionally intteruping some other conversation. She looked at them. "Any beds left?" she asked, the tiny flames on her body going out. They stared at her. "What?" Val stripped out of the light armor she had made. "If you're going to keep staring at me like that, I'll go sleep in a damned tree." She muttered. "But then the tree would burn down and set the whole camp on fire, so that wouldn't work." She mused with some humor.

Valen felt offended when she heard that. She turned around. "Weird? I'll show you weird!" She yelled. She did not like being called weird. "I'm not the only weird one around here! All of us either have a godly parent thought to be myth, or we have animal rear ends! Just cause I burst into flames you assume you're normal? You got another thing coming pal!" Val stalked off towards the cabin and muttered to herself about prissy demigods that thought they were normal. As if. You call being half god normal? What a fucked up world he must live in, she thought.
Valen just astared at the girl. "Boy aint you a ray of sun." She muttered. Wait. Golden fleece? somebody had found the golden fleece and used it to protect camp? And now it was gone? Ah. That would explain how the hell hounds had gotten in. She knew this because she couls see the piles of ash littered every where. Also see had heard them far away but had thought it was her imagination. Val sighed and started towards the Hephaestus cabin, too tired to care if the wine god punished her for it. He probably didn't even remember her name. She knew he messed up on peoples names just to screw with them.
Valen was confused. What had she missed? "What is going on? What happened?" She asked. She felt her jacket starting to smoke again so she just tore it off. It had seen better days anyway. She just let the small flames lick at her skin, not even trying to smother them again. She sighed. Such was her woe. Having the ability to set things on fire, but not knowing how. "Do you know where the Hephaestus kids are?" She asked the boy who had at least tried to be polite to her.
Mysterie paced with restless energy, tail and ears flicking rapidly. She wanted to do something already. The longer they stayed here the more likely it was that people were getting hurt. "Why dont we hgo already," She growled loud enough for everyond to hear. "The longer we stand here wasting time, the more likely it is that innocent people are getting hurt." She glared. "Im going to go out there myself in two minutes if you havent decided by then." She unclipped her staff and elongated it.
Valen glared at the girl. "Yeah. Im fine. It happens whenever i feel a really strong emotion." She searched the crowd once more. Then she raised her voice loud enough for every one to hear. "I dont what happened to Thalias tree but I didnt do it. Im Valen from the Hephaestus cabin a few years back!" Valen gave the girl a pointed look. She took out a few metal scraps out of her pocket and started fiddling with them, turning out a tiny bronze owl that flaped its wings and flew around Vals head a few times. It flapped back onto her hand and stood still. Val smiled. Cute.
