sorry for the late post. was out for my sister's birthday yesterday.
It had been, well, since she had moved that she had her Kwami and Miraculous. The blue barrette had been left on her doorstep in a green box with a peacock feather tied to the top. The note left with the gift read: "Paon says you are worthy to take on this responsibility. So I pass it on to you". When she opened the box and examined the item, little Paon flew out and explained to her who he was and what she was to do, after she had freaked out for a bit of course. He never had told her who the previous Peacock was, and she felt she would never know.
It wouldn't be the first time she had dawned her mask and used her special powers and prowess to defeat villains. She had even met with Cat Noir and Ladybug a handful of times, whenever there was an Akuma. Which felt like everyday but it wasn't. And at night, the young hero would stop petty criminals in her spare time, training to become better like the big shots.
Once her fantastical transformation was completed she bust out of the janitors closet, nearly breaking the door down. "Alllright!" As Peacock Princess she was confident, she was dazzling, she was cool. Auri could be all the things she wanted to be when hidden by her mask. She ran to the top of the stairs that led down into the courtyard. "Hey look!" One of her fellow students shouted out and pointed toward her classroom. "It's Ladybug!" The students who still had their souls cheered in excitement. Peacock lept up on the railing. "And Peacock!" Someone else finally noticed her she smiled. A blue ghost ball flew down and went through several students, making their entire bodies turn grey and drop to the ground. "Their souls are mine!" Mistress Spectre shouted down to them. "You'll never stop me, you're just a little bug and bird."
"I beg your pardon, but this little bird is going to take you down." Peacock lept up one more and grabbed onto the ledge of the rooftop and pulled herself up. "Better give yourself up now!" With a leap of faith she jumped up once more and attempted to tackle the ghost girl to the ground but went right through her. "Ahh!!" Peacock fell down toward the courtyard.
"Peacock!" Ladybug used her yo-yo to glide over the courtyard and catch Peacock, the professional hero landed gently on the ground with Peacock over her shoulder. "You can't be so rash!" Ladybug reminded the blonde girl and set her down. "Now where is that black cat?"
"S-sorry, Ladybug... I mean... yea! won't happen again. She's a ghost so we can't attack her head on, we might be able to attack her if we catch her off guard when she's solid."
"Alright! No time for chit chat we have to find where that Akuma is!" Ladybug looked up at the ghostly girl who's smaller ghosts were hurting her classmates.
