Aniela quietly listened to what Mason said. She had tensed when he put his hand on her shoulder, she wasn't used to humans showing any kind of affection to her. She did give up and said sorry, she did it because she is afraid of Mason. The kid could withstand her power, he always seemed to be stronger and faster than a normal human.. it was unnatural. But she had to stick with these humans now.. she had no choice. She had changed in some sense, she could understand what fear was like, and it wasn't pleasant. She began to like this human Mason even if he had tried to kill her and even if he scared her. He could be nice.. if he wanted to be. Aniela nodded slowly and looked up at Mason, he was smiling. Not smiling evily like earlier. He was smiling gently, as if he did care. "I'll help him before he falls." She said then stood up. The Empousai could hear the branch that Aaron was dangling from crack, as if it was about to break. "He is about to fall, you know that right?" She asked Mason before jogging over to Aaron. She positioned herself under Aaron and held her hands out, if he fell she would catch him.. she was sure she would. "I got you, Aaron." She called.

Mason smiled a bit when she nodded in agreement, it seemed that she was willing to change but who wouldn't in the face of death? He began to wonder about Aniela's change of morality, maybe it was too good to be true, or maybe it wasn't and she was truthfully reformed. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he was notified of his brother's eminent fall. "Now I know.." Mason said, sounding considerably surprised about it.

Aaron continued to hang onto the slowly tilting branch, the cracking sound was ever so subtle but it began getting louder. He looked down toward the black haired female, Ani, she seemed ready to catch him and even called out to him. "Hmmm..." Aaron thought to himself, wondering how to get the blades out of the branch. More force would bring it down, he slightly pulled back, the blade slowly working its way out until it finally pulled free. That was one, he pulled out the other and began falling, at least the branch would snap on him now, hopefully Aniela could catch him.
