Powers: Superhuman Strength(Can lift 25 tons) Enhanced Speed(70 mph at sprinting pace) Superhuman durability, Danger Sense, Wall Crawling(He is not only able to stick to surfaces using his hands and feet but his back as well. The strength of the attraction between himself and the surface he is clinging to is considerable, with an upper limit of several tons per finger. If he does not detach willingly but is pulled off by force, the surface usually breaks still attached to his body. He can also run and jump up surfaces) Equilibrium(He can maintain perfect balance on any surface he sticks to, like high wires for example)
Skills: A unique understanding of Arachnid Tech and is intelligent when it comes to that in particular as well as conventional forms of technology and computers. He was able to create his own martial art thanks to his danger sense
Weapons: Web-ejecting gauntlets
Gear: His suit is made of a material that is both durable and flexible; HOSB threat level four and NIJ vest threat level 2 meaning it's resistant to stab and spike weapons along with armor piercing rounds. His gauntlets are "revolver action" switching to whatever web fluid he chooses(Tazer, Incendiary, Freeze ) His mask as a number of vision fields(Infared, Night Vision, Thermal, Normal of course) Voice Modulator, Spyder Bot capable of bypassing many forms of security
Personality: Cassius Hale is as quiet as they come, only speaking when the situation requires it and even then he tries to refrain. He hides his emotions, making his social skills nonexistent. Despite this, he has a good nature and isn't likely to let anger get the better of him, but he will take down an enemy at any cost no matter what the action does to his reputation.
Background: Cassius' father was a scientist named Marcus Hale, he was a man obsessed with cracking the code of the meta gene. He began to come to conclusion that abilities like the control of energy or manipulations of shadows was a goal larger than life. He began to view the heroes and villains who received their abilities from animals. Amazed at how powerful the heroes proved to be he quickly got to work on his newest experiment, he had number of subject animals and insects to choose from. He saw promise in using spiders, he took the liberty of "acquiring" the arachnids from a science museum.

He began studying the DNA of the spiders, removing the appropriate traits and characteristics to form a DNA strand, multiple to be exact. Eager to test the results of his work but unwilling to test the airborne serum on himself he decided he'd use his wife, Laura Hale. He talked her into being tested and quickly led her down into the basement that very day. A cylinder shaped pod awaited her, the single door opened and she stepped in. As she did, the door shut behind her and the red colored gas quickly began to fill the room. Laura began to panic as she took a breath in, the gas filled her lungs and began to burn like an intense flame, she begged and pleaded for Marcus to open the doors. He kept telling her to stay in just a little longer, that "little longer" was an hour later and her screams had already gone silent.
The scientist came to grips with what he did, he killed his wife but he couldn't just bury her body, he needed to figure out what had gone wrong. He purged the room of the serum and got her out out the chamber, had her lay on an operating table, and began to take blood samples as well as tissue samples. Several weeks passed and to his knowledge he perfected the serum's concentration levels and dosage. He last option to test on was his sixteen year old son, Cassius. Tell the boy that it would be possible for him to get powers was all the incentive he needed to give him. Cassius walked into the chamber, not really being off put by the gas that entered the room, he took steady breaths. Through the course of fifteen minutes, the serum had been absorb into his son's body.

After removing him from the room for tests, his body showed no clear signs of rejection. He amazed at how his son's body had retained everything, he exhibited abilities that even he couldn't have foretold. Marcus taught his Cassius everything he needed to know about the technology he'd be giving him. He failed to keep his greatest failure a secret from his son, Cassius reacted with anger. His father tried his best to reason with his son but failed, in an attempt to gain power of his own and keep his son under his control, he loaded six cartridges of the concentrated serum and activated the chamber. There was a reason his wife died from high dose, the serum corroded her lungs like venom would and it did the same to him. Cassius lost everything to gain his powers, he swore that he'd use them right.

Worldwide History
In the year of 2022 the world was in disarray when a single attack by North Korea spontaneously occurred against Washington DC. While the world celebrated their independence day, they struck and leveled all of the capitol in one bombing run. The “fortunate” survivors were later killed by the radiation from the attack, in the aftermath all of DC reduced to rubble and nothingness. It was later discovered that the president had fled to his bunker moments before the initial attack, it was announced that July Fourth would no longer be a day of celebration but a day of remembrance. For the once symbolic city of Washington DC, had been leveled by the long-time enemy, in which war was now declared against, North Korea.

The available news reporters began to broadcast the aftermath to all existing areas, telling the viewers how such an attack would have been unable to be predicted and nor would the outcome have been. Days later a man held a news station at gunpoint with a usb drive in hand, claiming that he important message to share with the american people. The man had shown a video revealing the president going inside of his bunker before the attack. He stated in detail exactly what had happened and what the president did with the video as his proof. The man was later tried and received a death sentence relatively quickly for his actions, there didn't even seem to be a legible trial. Shortly after, all news stations began questioning everything said by the president and soon it became the biggest controversy nationwide.

While the nation questioned its president who had been denying everything, the UN refused the U.S the right to declare war against North Korea in belief that the U.S would level all of Korea in midst of their anger. Furious with the UN’s decision, the president decided to secede from them and declare war against all participating nations that would stand in the way of the U.S’s vengeance. Several nations left the UN and join the U.S out of fear while others stayed with the UN. Outraged by the U.S’s decision, the UN stood together side by side for the protection of both North and South Korea. The third world war had just been started, the war was long and bloody.

The higher powers of the UN “acquired” loyalty through the annexation of other nations. Meanwhile, afraid of spies within their countries, the United States declared martial law and allowed the enactment of operation “Clean Sweep”, effectively wiping out each and every national guard member. Shortly, riots began to break out between both sides while they were still warring with one another, forcing both sides to turn their weapons against their own people. Outraged, the army and the navy separated from the U.S and began aiding the new-found resistance while the marines and air force stayed with the “president” as he ushered in a dominion against his people. Slowly the united nations began infighting with one another for power while the riots continued to break out worldwide. In the end, there were no sides left but the people who turned against their own people. Slowly they united as one world to end the old nations as new heroes of the people begun to lead them into a new future. These leaders had begun creating a new GRAND COUNCIL as they created their new nations as places of sanctuary to begin anew. The leaders have spent eight years together constantly and adamantly building new laws, rules, and regulations for this new council to prevent another world war while the people recreate the city-sized nations in their own views.

Cities
Tartarus

An underground weapons manufacturing installation created during the third war by the U.S aided in the war effort and was the best industrial availible and led all weapons production. It is now demilitarized and yet still a worker’s city, providing an unending number of jobs for all who live within the city, as does it include fairly decent living for a cheap price.

Insurrection

Insurrection was one of the first cities born post cybernetics and other world changing innovations, serving as the world’s richest city, bustling with activity during the day and lit up during the night, this city was the definite place to be. Slowly but surely, the fun in the city began leading to crime, corruption and much more. This place has an interesting day life for a crime city but in those hours, the degradation of most parts in the city are prominent. Places like chinatown and others were affected by the waves of crime. This was the city hit the hardest during the third world war.

Eden

The most prosperous, peaceful, and of high economic standard, it serves as the leading example of a utopian society containing only the rich. The poor are nothing but diseased pests as far as the rich are concerned and for such are barely existent in Eden.

Second City

One of the only relic cities that have lasted post war, the upper, middle, and lower class mingle without much discrimination. The city represents how life was in New York before the Great War.

Factions and Major Groups
Et Carnificis Chronogra

The name translates to chronicler and executioner, the people behind this strange cult were men and women of great conviction, for their belief that two higher powers decided the fates of people every moment.

Paladins

The peacekeeping force act as a law enforcement group, each highly trained as well as the military. They have a strong dedication to keep the peace for the people without discrimination. Each officer is required to spend five years at their academy.

Grand Army

The armed forces were united to avoid the problems that they had faced so many years ago. Each soldier is highly skilled and heavily trained, all are allowed in at the ages 16-40 a mandatory ten years of training and a required enhancement to their physiology, in turn making them super soldiers.
