Wolf winced slightly as hid injury was being treated, he turned his attention toward the door as it slid open. The discomfort upon his face shifted to a grin, he was amused to see a Procyoniddian and an Ice-Jinn along with Alice's machine. It was a sight to see that there had been two alive still, he was curious to know who's fault that was, his own, Timber's, or Kental's? Wolf couldn't help himself, he began to burst out in laughter at the sight of them both. He called down to a slight chuckle, he was wondering how they even managed to survive complete extinction.

Cassius was fully attentive when he heard the female who he now knew as Arachne, an interesting name in his opinion. His face turned to her as if he had eyes, he didn't but he could see with both his ears and nose which was just as good as any sight. Heeding her nudging and pleading he slowly made his way back up the stairs, being sure to stay right with her. He merely glanced at her when she stared down at him, it was interesting to see that the staring wasn't a product of fear but it seemed to be wonder. 'Maybe you should keep me...' Cassius had thought at the female, he knew his thoughts couldn't be heard but at least he could think them.

'Hmmm, I promise..' He thought, a toothy grin on his face, what would this female feed him anyway? Did she at least have an idea or was she basing him off of knowledge she attained overtime? He wondered many of these things but he also questioned whether there was a way out or not. As much as he enjoyed this, he didn't want to stay trapped within this...house forever. Though he did see many things around worth exploring, this place must have had other chambers, larger chambers, the noise he was picking up proving that. He seemingly slithered inside of Arachne's room and lied down in the middle of the room, rolling on his back out of sheer comfort. The flooring was made of a soft material, it was just as pleasant as grass, he hoped she didn't mind it, he started cleaning himself in a serious manner. (Like a male dog would)

Ani steadied herself before catching him. She readied herself for his weight. When she finally did catch him, she stumbled back a few steps but she kept him in her arms. "How did you manage yourself up there anyways? " she asked, staring at him. She then stood him back up and steadied him. "I'd advise you to stay away from trees. If you managed to get up there." She joked and began walking back. Everything had told her to let him hit the ground but she had told Mason that she would catch him. She did catch him. Something she thought she would never do.

Aaron sighed in relief when Ani caught him, he was grateful for her, he knew Mason would have done it but there was more to prove with her. "Thanks....." He said, smiling all the while at her before showing her the silver weapons that matched Mason's. "I got stuck by these..." He said, blushing in a slightly nervous manner, it was embarrassing to reveal how curiosity got him into that fatal situation.

Mason put a hand on his chin as if to ponder on something, this was clearly interesting, she caught him as promised but what if he hadn't been around, would she do the same? Mason was still happy nonetheless about her actions, maybe through prolonged effort she would become a better person and if that happened that would mean one more ally with him. Mason overheard what Anthony had been saying, he wondered what he meant by what he said, he was sure that he could handle it though.
Katan gave somewhat of a nod toward the High Councilor, nothing more than that though, he was slightly bothered by the Kig-yar and others. He wasn't going to dwell on it, after all he would see them all in battle and battle was something he lived for. Now that their vessel was closing in on the heretic's hole in which they may have referred to as a safe haven. He readily followed the Arbiter, standing to the left of him, glancing at the hunter that had been walking without his brother accompanying him .The sooner they got onto the Phantom then the sooner they would strike down the heretics.
If he had eyes he would have shut with in content, he wasn't minding the petting at all, it was quite soothing in his opinion. The petentem growled softly as if at had been purring in reaction to the gentle action taken by the female. Treats were promised, maybe staying with this girl wouldn't be a bad idea, then again this girl had no idea what he was, he wasn't from the natural human realm. His own dimension's inhabitants were unable to appease him, he would see to giving this girl a chance in doing so. It was interesting to hear the way she spoke, as if he were a pup, no being would have done what this one did, getting near a petentem was a death sentence unless you were offering food. Still though, he did hunger and if this female would award with food then he'd be silent just this one time.

Cassius growled when the human female referred to his temporal caretaker that way, it was obvious that she had a name, after all he had a name. But he'd do as told for now, his ebony black claws retracted back into his paws, the sharp spines on his back down to the base of his tail seemed to lay against his body on one side. He decided he'd at least make an attempt to clean himself, licking his front paws with his long, sticky, white tongue. Boredom was never a fun thing to experience and he was experiencing it, he was longer for a meal and sleep.
