Cassius looked down at her and managed a smile, he wanted to stay but he had obligation, but they'd figure out he broke her out anyway. "No, not at all, I won't leave you here." He said, smiling down at her, looking away when he realized he was staring. "So, I'll go get that barricade started..." He said, quickly changing his stream of thoughts to constructive ones.
I like your ideas ^.^

I understand, things happen
Cassius smirked and rolled his eyes when she made her comment about random blood. "Hmm, good to know." He said, his smirk still visible, it was nice to talk to someone who wasn't all about torturing and murdering for a change. He wasn't sure how to answer her question, was he going to stay there, he couldn't just leave, could he? "Maybe...." He said with a smile, it wasn't a convincing maybe, more so of a yes answer. Of course he wasn't going to just leave her, not when the idea of her being captured lingered on in his mind.
Cassius looked down at her, his scarlet red irises seemed to brighten when she began to wake. He let out a sigh of relief when she opened her eyes, smiling while looked down into them. "Don't do that again, I thought you might have drank some of that thing's blood..." He said, he was glad she didn't but maybe it wouldn't have hurt her, after all she did drink his blood and he was immune to his own poisons. He looked out toward the cave entrance, seeing the sun beginning to set. "It's going to get dark soon and cold...maybe I can break down some trees before nightfall and make a barricade." He said hopefully, he'd rather not have anything breaking in at all.
Cassius' eyes widened the moment she began to collapse, his speed allowing him to catch her before she hid the ground. He was worried, what if she ingested the venom, what if she was now slowly dying, because of him? Because he wanted to make sure she was safe here, it was his fault for bringing her into danger. "Alright, let's get you out of here..." He said in a rushed manner, carrying her and running his way through the labyrinth. He sat down at the mouth of the cave, he listened carefully to her heartbeat, making sure it wasn't faltering. He sat and listened for as long ad he needed, it felt like nightfall was approaching, that was probably not a good thing.

I'm classified as a B.A. in Criminal justice as of right now. Need to switch over to creative writing though. I haven't gotten the proper forms yet.

You have returned ^.^
Cassius watched as Mina used her shadows to tie the beast down, he was going to intervene but stopped once he saw the orb of blood in her hand. He was hoping she didn't try drinking it, he didn't know what it'd do to her, to his surprise she shot it back into the creature. The beast almost immediately ceased all movement due to the toxin, Cassius walked over to sniff it, just to be sure it was dead. He shifted out of his beast form and smiled at Mina. "I'm impressed, I didn't know you had powers..."" He said, the smell of the beast awakened his instincts, he growled softly as he looked toward it.
Cassius looked toward the shadowy figures as they attacked the large beast in a very violent manner, hearing the loud screech it let out in reaction. He used this opportunity to bite the creature's side multiple times. His head moving as fast as a snakes would, his bite force made the beast's scales crunch, some of them fell off and landed in blood puddles, others landed on the ground that seemed to have been overlaid with a rock material. He watched as the beast wobbled on its legs, it was dying quickly now, its heart rate was pumping the toxin toward its heart faster than normal.
"Yeah, this isn't good...something's down here, I can smell it.." He said, two pillars were now in front of them, they had carvings of the large multi-limbed beast eating what looked like everything, a world in flames. Whatever this thing was, it was bad news for sure, he couldn't let something lime this exist while he did. He looked.toward the large cave opened, his ears locked onto the sound of a heartbeat, a large heartbeat. "Mina, stay behind me..." He said before quickly changing, the shadow flames from his transformation briefly illuminated the large reptilian looking beast, its scales were a sea foam green coloring and its teeth were plainly visible. It was the size of Cassius but he wasn't going to back down from the beast, he inhaled air before letting out a loud roar that shook the large cavern. The beast's eyes glowed an orange color within the darkness, it tried to lock onto Cassius' eyes but failed due to him having none. As it scurried toward him within the darkness he lunged forward, his jaws clamping around its front leg, it let out a loud screech of pain, little did it know, Cassius was venomous when he wanted to be. He injected a large enough dose of his own venom strain into the beast's bloodstream before tearing away some flesh, he stood protectively in front of Mina.
