Mason was slightly relieved by her lack of knowing, if they weren't assigned then he could just choose whatever room he wished. He was slightly in wonder about whether she was right or not since he had seen the way her room looked, her costume was in there so they must be designated rooms. "On the other end?" He questioned her, he didn't know much about the place so navigating would take some time doing, he glanced down the hall, there were so many doors, he wondered how he'd even know what was what. When offered to walk with him he managed a small smile, she was willing to help him, that made him feel pretty confident about finding his room whether it was assigned or not.

"Um...okay.." He said to her, his smile never seeming to fade, she looked to be in the middle of unpacking though. Part of him wanted to tell her he'd be fine but he didn't like the idea of wandering around aimlessly in Mount Justice. He moved his head away from the doorway that he had been peeking in to, after the girl stepped from her room he began to follow her lead, walking to the right of her. "M-my name is Mason...what's yours?" He said, introducing himself to her as he walked, he asked her name, if she was a teammate then getting to know her would be a good idea. He was a bit more curious about each room, maybe he'd find his room soon.
