Beneath the rubble lied Kori, barely holding onto life, his body badly burned and destroyed to the point where is healing was slowed down. "A-Am....ber..." He weakly called out the pain of the dust and dirt entering his wounds was that of a hot acid against his skin. "He pushed tons upon tons of rubble aside, he his skin began to return to him, his hair as well and his eyes. He stood up and looked to the scene of destruction, his knees were weak and he dropped to them, tears streaming from his eyes. "M-my palace, m-my family, they're gone..." He whimpered as he saw the nuclear cloud and the ashes and flash burned bodies all around, he scrambled to the body of Cassius and tried to pick him up. "I-I've got you...I..." He stopped once the child disintegrated into ash, he put his hands to his face and sobbed, he was alone, he had no one left but himself. The bunker's were destroyed it seemed but maybe Archer was alive, maybe she had made it, he just needed hope that someone was alive.
