My heart can't take it ;-;
Cassius listened to the pup as she spoke, now learning her name, it was comforting to know. Though he did feel sorry for Zariana he didn't want to pity her but he to knew what it was like to be without a father. His mother was there for him but she was killed when she tried to desert them. He held back a emphatic whimper when he heard the pup begin to cry. He got up and nuzzled Zariana, licking her cheek to comfort her. "It'll be alright, we're here for you..." He said to her in a gentle fatherly tone.

'This is adorable..' Cassius thought to himself when he saw Nychta and the pup huddled together, he could tell she was happy about this. He wasn't sure about getting next to either one of them like that, so for now he just lied down a good distance from them. He wasn't too close or too far away, he was pretty sure if he was any closer he might frighten the pup. He rested his head on the comfortable skins and shut his eyes, he wasn't sleeping it just felt relaxing.

Cassius smiled as he watched the pup and Nychta walk into the deeper section of the cave, quickly left the cave, hunting down three rabbits for the pup. He felt good about helping the young one, it made him feel needed. He growled at the strange male wolf as he returned and trotted past the outer cave, going into the inner areas and find Nychta along with the pup. Once he neared them both he set the small bundle of rabbits down.
