Why do people say "Tuna Fish sandwich"? That's like saying "Chicken Bird sandwich."

I never know what to put in these things. I'm just a guy who likes making stories. If I'm not roleplaying, I'm writing my own stuff or just creating random characters. I'm particularly fond of superheroes but I also really like character driven stuff and tend to dive into the details of a character. No character can be too detailed as far as I'm concerned.
Can I just ask where the meeting is taking place? Is it just in some generic meeting room? Is it more of a traditional vampiric/crypt type setting? Is it in the white house or somewhere else?
She had descended upon their home like a mist, creeping in through the window as they slept.
Raven Brooke had entered the Williams family residence in the middle of the night. She had little malicious intent however. She had only come to relieve them of the burden of their property. To transfer ownership of goods....To steal all their stuff basically. But after pilfering a gold watch, a wallet, a ring or two and, for some reason, some fake plastic eyeballs, she had somehow lost interest.
She spent a moment or two standing by the bedside of the resident couple of vanilla normals that currently slept there. She considered feeding on one of them, more out of boredom than hunger. She bent at the waist with her arms clasped firmly behind her back as she grew closer to the young woman who lay contently sleeping beside her lover. She bore something of a passing resemblance to Raven herself. Blonde hair, flawless skin. But Charity Williams had much more colour in her cheeks than Raven ever had, even when she was alive. For a moment, Raven considered what it would be like. To have a normal life. A family. To attend PTA meetings, dance recitals and football games. To bake cookies and drive a minivan.
"A living nightmare" Raven thought to herself. Raven's expression of mild curiosity turned to outright disgust as she turned to leave. She quickly stopped as she accidentally grazed something with her foot, dragging it slightly out from under the bed. Raven glanced at the young couple in the bed to make sure they didn't wake. They didn't make a move and so Raven crouched down to see what she had kicked. Much to her surprise and delight, it was a violin case. "Why would you keep something like this hidden away under a bed?" Raven thought with another glance at the normals. She opened the case and her grin grew wide at the beautiful instrument within. Raven adored music. The one fond memory she had of her childhood was her father playing the violin. The man was a brute and a cretin but he did make beautiful music. She delicately removed the violin and its bow from the case as though it were a puppy. She almost cooed at it. More so because it would fetch a pretty penny than anything else. After a quick inspection, she rose to her feet with the violin still in hand and, without a sound, made her way out of the bedroom.
In the hallway outside, she stopped as her attention was drawn to a photo on the wall. A photo of the whole family standing in front of a yacht. Mr Williams' prized possession, judging by the ridiculous grin plastered on his face. Raven peered in close to read the name on the vessel. "The Puddle Jumper" she whispered to no one. She thought about that for a second then cringed. "What a terrible name." She stared at this photo for a long moment as she considered the possibilities. She could hop down to the marina and relieve Mr Williams of his yacht. But what possible use could she have for a yacht? She could sell it of course but attempting to sell such a large item would probably bring her far more attention than she desired. She ultimately decided to leave Mr Williams with his precious little boat.
But just as she was about to leave, she felt a presence. She turned her head sharply to see a young girl, no more than five years old, standing at the end of the hallway. "Crap" Raven muttered to herself. All this work to not be seen and she had still let a child see her. "Are you the toof faywee?" the brat sleepily asked in butchered English. Raven stared at the girl for a second then looked herself up and down. What kind of tooth fairy would wear a leather duster and high tops? "This child must be slow" Raven thought. But it did offer her an opportunity to leave without too much hassle. "Why yes, dear" she replied in a hushed tone so as not to wake the parents "I'm the tooth fairy" She flashed the girl a smile, making a concerted effort not to make it look like the smile of a predator or just a plain old lunatic. The girl's smile back at her told her that she had succeeded. The girl then proceeded to present to her a loose tooth which quickly wiped the smile from Raven's face. The girl stood there, proud as punch with her tooth in her hand. Raven really didn't want to touch that thing. The tooth or the child. But she knew that she'd have to if she wanted to get out of here with the minimal fuss. So reluctantly and slowly she moved towards the girl. Hesitantly, she plucked the tooth from the girl's fingers and said "...Thank you." The girl stared back at her with a dopey smile for a moment then said "Well?" "Well what?" Raven replied. "You're supposed to give me money" she chirped with an alarmingly cheery tone. Oh that's right. The tooth fairy was supposed to leave money. This had started out as a simple robbery and now she was being extorted by a child. Raven reached into her jacket and pulled out a note. "Can you break a fifty?" she asked. The girl simply stared back at her blankly. "Fine" Raven said with a roll of her eyes "Here" She shoved the money at the girl who snatched it up greedily and smiled. Raven stared at her for another moment, eyeing her up, before saying "You've got a bright future in larceny child...That or banking"
It was then that Raven felt something vibrate inside her jacket and again reached in to pull out her phone. She knew who the text was from before she even looked at it. The only person she gave this number to was Ronny Nassar, her trusted ghoul. The message read "You've been summoned by the high and mighty lord douchebag. Attend as soon as possible. Better not keep him waiting." Raven knew exactly who Ronny meant. Cranston. Despite never having met the man, Ronny hated Cranston, simply on account of the vampire being a Ventrue. Ronny had a deep rooted hatred of the Ventrue and since Cranston was the big man of the clan, Ronny hated him most of all. Of course he always kept a civil tongue in his mouth when speaking to anyone other than Raven about the matter. Ronny had been a marine in previous years and so he could handle himself if his big mouth got him into trouble but messing with the Ventrue clan was more than he could deal with.
What did Cranston want now? Raven knew that Ronny was right. Men like Cranston didn't like to be kept waiting. She eyed the girl from the corner of her eye and in a hushed tone asked "What's your name, girl?" "Jooweee" the girl answered, mirroring Raven's tone with a proud smile. "Well. Joowee-I mean Julie" Raven began as she crouched down to the girls level and locked eyes with her. "You mustn't tell anyone I was here, okay?" Julie nodded in understanding and Raven winked at her like they had made a secret pact.
And with that, Raven rose to her feet and moved towards the window at the end of the hallway. As she went, she placed the violin to her chin and began a slow and delicate tune. "Laaaaa laaaa la, la laaaaa" she half sung along. She was gone through the window and into the darkness, dropping silently to the street below seconds before Julie's parents emerged from their bedroom with confused expressions, clearly drawn by Raven's tune. "What was that noise Julie?" asked mommy dearest. "Nothing mommy" replied Julie as she turned and headed back into her room. She turned to face her parents again and before slowly closing her door said with a gap toothed smile "Just the toof faywee"
@Subject Zero Maybe Raven and Reggie could be acquaintances. I mean, since they're both involved in criminal enterprises, it makes sense that they would've done business with each other at some point in time, no?
Reggie is probably the character Raven is most likely to associate with. She may know Veta as well, considering that Veta tends to associate with other clans.
Raven's been around for a while but she's mostly been hanging around on the outskirts of society. She has only recently started to get involved with the rest of vampire kind on any real level. She's also known in the criminal underworld as a fence for stolen goods so if your characters haven't met her, they may have heard of her but probably only if they're associated with that kind of stuff..
Born in London, England in 1485, Raven had the good fortune of being born into a relatively wealthy family. She never wanted for anything. She had good food, a large home, fine jewels and invites to all of the most elegant dances...And it was all so incredibly boring.
Raven hated it. All the fake smiles, the catty women and obnoxious men. The rigid rules of manners and etiquette. And the corsets. Oh the corsets! What kind of civilized society would force a woman to wear just a painful contraption? Raven felt like she was suffocating. Not only because of the bloody corset but also because of her entire life. Always being forced to be so prim and proper. Elegant and dainty. She secretly wanted to run away from it all. To run free. She secretly wanted to batter each and every one of these insufferable brats she was forced to socialize with over the head with Mr Jenson's cane. But that was just a fantasy. She was destined to spend the rest of her life with these people she secretly hated. Her life was all planned out for her. She would one day be married off to one of the boorish pigs her father worked with, pop out a couple of loathsome little brats and spend the rest of her days silently resenting the fact that she had never actually lived until she finally shuffled off this mortal coil. It was a bleak view of the future but the only one Raven could see. At least until she met Gabriella.
When Raven could no longer bare the fake smiles and pleasantries of yet another social function that she had been forced to attend, she fled into the garden. She kicked off her shoes, relishing the feel of grass beneath her feet as she casually strolled towards the treeline marking the boundary of the estate. Slowly, the world around Raven started to quiet. Raven found her attention drawn to the treeline. There was a woman. The most beautiful woman Raven had ever seen. Like a dream, she emerged from the trees. She was like a wild animal. Feet caked in mud. A wild mane of hair. Flawless dark skin and a glint in her eye that was at once soothing and menacing. Raven felt an urge to run. To flee for her life. To escape this woman and her almost predatory stare. And yet she couldn't move. Her feet felt like they were rooted to the ground. She had locked eyes with this mysterious woman and sealed her fate. She couldn't look away. Awe and terror set into her heart as the woman grew closer. Closer still. Until their faces were practically touching. Raven almost resigned herself to the fact that her existence was about to end. But then she heard the woman whisper...
"Don't worry. I'm going to save you."
All at once, the fear and sadness left Raven's heart. The woman smiled and Raven smiled back. She didn't even react as the woman, in the blink of an eye, sank her teeth into her neck. She just kept smiling. Somehow, inexplicably, Raven knew that everything was going to be alright. She knew that things were going to change. She knew that she would be happy. As the world began to darken and Raven slipped into unconsciousness, she smiled.
Raven awoke several days later under a starlit sky. The mysterious woman lay next to her. The two shared a moment of silence as they lay in the middle of a forest, watching the stars above. When the woman finally spoke, she introduced herself as Gabriella. She explained to Raven what had happened. That she was now stronger, faster...Free. Raven didn't even care that she was technically dead. She was free. Free from the confines of societal niceties. Free from constraints of a mortal body. And free from that bloody corset. She was finally...free.
Raven had always felt the need to run free. Now it was a far more literal need. Adrenaline surged through her body. She was filled with a need to hunt. To eat. Gabriella, over the next few years, taught Raven all about her new life. How to hunt and feet without being caught or revealing their existence to the mortals. How to communicate with the animals and even how to become animals. Gabriella also taught Raven about the Camarilla. Raven wanted nothing to do with the Camarilla. She saw them as just another face for that society that had restrained her for so long. But Gabriella knew the value of staying connected and having powerful allies so both women maintained ties to not only their own clan but also to others. For centuries, Gabriella and Raven ran free. They always lived on the edges of society, never venturing too far into the city but they also wouldn't risk moving too far into the wild for fear of running afoul of the lycanthropes. Gabriella also taught Raven to embrace her wild side while also maintaining her humanity. Though Raven has come close to fully embracing her inner beast, Gabriella was always there to pull her back to humanity...Until she wasn't.
One day, out of the blue, Gabriella was simply gone. No word of explanation. No sign that it was even coming. She was simply gone. And Raven was alone. Painfully alone. Raven spent decades searching for her missing sire with no success. She had always been a talented hunter but it seemed the one target she couldn't track was Gabriella. And so Raven eventually, reluctantly, gave up searching.
After Gabriella's disappearance, Raven found herself slowly moving further into the city where she found that she could use her skills just as well. While she didn't like the city as much as the open wilderness, it did have its charms. She found that she was a skilled thief and would often use her skills to steal from the homes of the wealthy and often acted as a fence for other thieves. What she did with the money she received for selling her stolen wares was a mystery to everyone. She didn't own an expensive home or cars or flash money in any way. She seemed to simply put it aside for some unknown reason.
It was during this time that Raven came to the attention of Nicholas Cranston who would often put her skills as a tracker and thief to use whenever he needed to find someone or something. Raven didn't much care for Cranston but he paid well. So she kept her distance but also kept in touch and over the years she has became one his top agents, albeit an elusive and mysterious one.
Raven continues to linger on the fringes of society. A notable but mysterious presence.
Personality: Alluring and mysterious, Raven is often quiet and standoffish. She is by no means shy but rather likes to observe before interacting. She at times seems more like an animal than a person with an almost predatory glint in her eyes and when angered can sometimes be heard growling. Of course she will often take on personality traits of the animals on which she feeds which can lead to her being somewhat unpredictable in terms of personality. In general though, Raven has become far more moody than she once was. Something that can perhaps be attributed to the loss of her sire.
