I remember your last Pokemon pitch, and I was interested then, too. I noticed back then there were some strange Pokemon, like a white Charizard etc. Will these unique Pokemon be around again this time, or will they be excluded?

Hi, I am not 100% sure if this is allowed on this section, and if not, I apologize; please just remove it and I won't repost it, of course. But I'm looking for a group to roleplay with, as all the rps I've been in died or went silent, and I'm really in the mood to write again. My favorite fandoms are My Hero Academia, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Tokyo Ghoul, and Final Fantasy, but I'm open to other stuff, too. (I've played in most common fandom settings, from One Piece to Teen Titans etc.)

My main concern would be a friendly and relaxed group of players, who are also not lazy writers; I always feel like fandoms are often a bit elitist or one-liner-addled, so some sort of middle-ground would be swell. Also active groups (like at least weekly posts) would be super duper awesome.

Yachiyo is a lithe kunoichi, standing at 5'2" with sparse, lean muscle, mirroring many of the women in her clan. A cream color, Yachio's hair is long, reaching beyond her hips. She most commonly wears it in a high ponytail with messy bangs in her genin days, but ocassionally tidies her mane into a more professional and neat style. Yachiyo has hazel-colored eyes and regal features, lending her an air of maturity beyond her years.

During missions, Yachiyo tends towards a comfortable orange and black windjacket, with a sleeveless skintight bodysuit underneath. Above the bodysuit, she wears a form-fitting, poncho-like garment with short sleeves, that contains a mask to pull over the lower half of her face. She wears a black, high-waisted pair of pants with a skinny fit and orange sandals that reach quite high along her leg, for stability.

On her off-time, she can often be seen in a sleeveless jumpsuit, with the midsection being tied into a less lumpy style, with sporty sneakers and a cropped top underneath the usually half-done jumper.

Yachiyo sleeps in a baby blue silk pajama. She leaves her hair open when she sleeps.

A responsible a mature kunoichi, people regard Yachiyo as a prodigious shinobi certain to advance the village's goals and honor her family. Yachiyo presents herself as decorous and respectful to adults and those above her, being well-aware of her family's expectations. She discards her desires and impulses almost always, instead appearing quiet, reserved, and dutiful. Never engaging in childish behavior, Yachiyo is somewhat known to be a teacher's pet, less so out of unabashed pandering but rather for her relentless desire to prove that she is capable and knowledgable. One of the few instances in which her facade cracks is her superstitiousness - Yachiyo is well-known for her almost comedic belief in superstitions, avoiding any sign of bad luck with squeamish aversion. Among her peers, she is considered to be rather snappy and confrontational.

With a mild inferiority complex due to her inability be the prodigy her clan wants her to be, Yachiyo is constantly at her breaking-point due to the rigorous training and disciplining her clan puts her through. Yachiyo has a feverish ambition to live in a world where these beliefs and customs are abolished, but they have never grown beyond juvenile dreams - However, they give her a sense of hope, a goal to work towards in times where everything else seems to be hopeless.

SPECIALITY Fūinjutsu, particularly Summoning Techniques LEGACY The Ōkashi are one of the few clans that has not been native to Kirigakure, that has been accepted into the Gyokushō caste. They are well respected and treasured by the nobility for their contribitions to the village, as their steadfast aid in the war, as well as their ability to track down threats such as missing-nin through the Mōragan, has been invaluable. As such, they are considered valuable allies and respected people. They tend to function as a voice of reason in the case of senseless violence, though they stray from opposing anyone truly important, knowing well of their fortunate treatment and the frail ego of humanity. VALUES The Ōkashi have been lead by patriarchs for the majority of their time, having somewhat conservative views on the differences between women and men, as the myths of Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu were an important aspect in the clan's creation. However, matriarchs have existed. Overall, the Ōkashi are a clan that is characterized by its respect for - more or less - everyone and everything. Their most distinctive quality is their utter devotion to nature and life itself. They are well-known for their tranquil gardens and the creatures they protect. The Ōkashi belief is that all is one, and one is all, and as such it is important to be as kind and graceful to one another as possible. Ōkashi clan leaders tend to be imposing, highly decorous people, who respect traditions and authority, and likewise demand respect for their own authority. TRADITIONS When an Ōkashi is at their wit's end, they are to capture a crow that does not belong to the clan without hurting it. They are then to take it to their home, and release it at sunrise. If the crow flies north, it means to leave the situation behind, and look past it. If it flies east, it means to endure and hold on, waiting for the intervention of life itself. If it flies south, one should respond with violence. If it flies west, the problem lies in one's family, and reconciliation is advised. Every Ōkashi receives a scroll prepared for them by their parents. A contract with the crows is made, for when the child is taught and able to utilize the Summoning Technique their clan is famous for. Boys receive their contract from their mother, while girls receive their contracts from their father. Ōkashi who are born with the Mōragan are always given names that contain either the kanjis 八 or 烏. This tradition is so deeply embedded in their history that children who manifest the dōjutsu after they are born, but before reaching adulthood, are renamed, and have their contract redone. Even the few adult members who manifested their eyes later have willingly adopted a new name. All Ōkashi are taught to use either a gunbai (for the boys) or a wagasa (for the girls, depending on their gender as a weapon. It is tradition for the child to be tutored by the corresponding parent; if a parent is unable to do so due to death or illness, a grandparent, parent, or sibling may be substituted. HEIRLOOMS Every child receives a gunbai or wagasa from their parents, that has been handcrafted by them, on the child's third birthday. Furthermore, it is custom to gift one's child a single feather of their crow. The Ōkashi estate houses many of the gunbai and wagasa of important Ōkashi, as well as a collection of each of their crows' feathers. ORGANIZATION The head of the clan is either a patriarch or matriarch, who is appointed by the previous clanleader and their advisors. The head of the clan must be agreed on by both the previous leader - who nominates them - and his or her three advisors. The three advisors consist of the youngest advisor of the previous head, as well as two of their own free choosing. The word of a clan head is untouchable, and the Ōkashi greatly respect their leader, as they believe that his or her authority unites them, and protects them, even if they may not personally agree with their decisions. As such, there is no questioning and little quarrel about an appointed head or advisor, as their election is the word of those who are entrusted with the clan. However, it is common for likely candidates to compete. How they handle such matter is a vital deciding factor in who the head chooses to succeed them. With several of the allied Ōkashi branches following him, this journey lead the clan to Kirigakure shortly before the first Shinobi World War broke out. Upon arrival, the Ōkashi were met with distrust and animosity due to being foreigners with a Kekkei Genkai. Unwilling to cower, Unosuke and his clan readily aided the village in any efforts they would let them have, never complaining about the danger of assignments. Upon the peak of the Ōkashi's increase in reputation for their competency, Onosuke fell in combat, protecting his team. And though this, too, was viewed favorably, the clan was now in dire need of a successor. Hanayo, his only child and daughter, was appointed to lead the clan, as per Onosuke's dying wishes. Hanayo was an exceptionally intelligent and charismatic woman, able to balance the expectation placed in her as a woman, and her own ability, maneuvering smartly within Kirigakure's society. To further her family's place in the village, she joined the Oinin Butai, who made exceptional use of the Mōragan in tracking down missing-nin, and married a member of a distant Ōkashi branch, Umito, who also possessed the Mōragan, believing it to increase the chance of their children possessing the dōjutsu. Ultimately, Hanayo's smart strategies worked, and the Ōkashi enjoyed great respect within Kirigakure's upper echelon. PRESENTLY Years ago, Hanayo fell ill, deferring her duties to her husband instead, whose since lead the Ōkashi with great resolve, focusing on strengthening the family's ties with the Kage and the rest of the Gyokushō. Umito has sacrificed much of his life to establish his association with the noble families of Kirigakure, knowing well how to maintain his presence while offering his unquestionable aid. It is due to Umito's efforts that the clan to risen to become one of the most valued families of foreigners to live in Kirigakure. However, his personal sacrifice and strictness has lead to a harsher leadership, and tenser relations within the clan.

One thing I'm not entirely sure on after reading through the provided information is the exact setting? Will we be on some sort of special facility? A new course at a hero school? A new, private "school" or other teaching ground? Immediate patrolling as sidekicks? Also, can we consider the general canon, well, canon? Did the teachers and students we know existed before? (provided this is even still open, I saw there's a fair share of sheets submitted already!)

Yachiyo is a lithe kunoichi, standing at a lanky 5'4", mirroring many of the women in her clan. She possesses a perpetually ashen complexion, which sometimes makes her appear sickly. Yachiyo's raven hair is is cut into chopped bangs at the side, and usually dolled into a spiky bun at the other, though she opts to style it more neatly when home. Yachiyo's ears are pierced with fairly large grey studs with a tiny ruby. Her golden eyes are usually framed by thick eyeliner, which trails off into a rebellious streak of smudged black down her cheeks. Generally, Yachiyo differs from the usually neat appearance the Ōkashi clan presents itselfs with, balancing the freedom given to a "prodigy" with the strict supervision of demanding parents.

Yachiyo's on-duty attire consists of a brown sleeveless flak jacket with a high collar, a thinner - also sleeveless - black vest, with threads sewn to section the lining, and an also sleeveless grey shirt underneath. An intertwined pair of rope adornments are attached to the back of her neck. She wears long, black fingerless gloves that are decorated with fishnet at the upper edge, and pairs it with a set of plain black tights that end at the knees, with a slit at the sides. Yachiyo wears a selection of brown and black boots, with an open front, and thick, flat soles.

Her casual outfit consist of thin, cream-colored sweaters with oversized sleeves, long skirts of various complimentary colours, and elegant black ankle boots.

Her quirks - such as her superstitious nature - are often restrained in front of others, and graciously dismissed as immature but ultimately harmless ignorance of etiquette, easily forgiven in the face of her ability and prestige. She is well-regarded for her studiousness, serious demeanor, and general competence. Yachiyo is considered to be quite candid, which is usually excused as a result of her exact and ambitious nature. Her behavior sways depending on the environment, shriveling into a quieter, more reserved version when confronted with adults and the family heads.

She is deeply conflicted about her own fortunate status and the way of life in the lower castes of the city, often struggling to fulfill her role within the clan without a sense of immorality. This permanent conflict is a source of great stress for Yachiyo, which manifests in a weary, withdrawn, and sometimes even confrontational disposition. In spite of her sensitivities, she is quick to judge others, not shying away from making her opinion of others known - positive or otherwise. Among her peers, she is known to be blunt, sometimes to the point of rudeness, though it is rare for her to act with the intent of arbitrary animosity. Her disposition is highly dependent on her general state of mind as well as who she deals with, though she has learned to uphold a steely exterior in front of others when needed - such as around Fuhyō - so as to not besmirch her clan or invite hostility from the discarded masses. The sole recipient of Yachiyo's genuine, affectionate side is Yata.

Benevolence and righteousness

An old idiom that has served as the Ōkashi clan motto for longer than most remember, Yachiyo has eagerly taken it as her personal motto, and views it as a defining quality required from not just good ninjas, but good people. She has modified it in her own way, often doubting her family's sincerity in believing in the phrase, and often contemplates how she can live and lead by example. Her silent defiance of truly accepting the unequal state of her village is deeply connected to her utmost belief in the phrase.

Unity

Above all else, Yachiyo yearns for harmony. In spite of her inner beliefs, she dearly loves and respects her family, and knows very well that a betrayal of established values would uproot their position within the village. As such, she wishes to find a way to appease the powers that are without relenting to their mistreatment of their own. Her dreams of rebellion and peace are juvenile, characterized by her own lack of experience, but her strive for power is fueled by the desire to achieve them nonetheless.

⌈NARRATIVE⌋

Yachiyo was born the youngest grandchild of the Ōkashi patriarch, without much in the way of anticipation for her future. What should've been a normal childhood was quickly recalibrated when Yachiyo - a mere seven months old - showed herself to possess the Mōragan. The rare trait upset the internal structure, with delighted parents, a calmed patriarch, and jealous siblings. Instead of playtime and friendship, Yachiyo was meticulously groomed to be her best possible self - and more. Her father in particular began to shift the expectations he had placed in his oldest son, adding them to the already unrealistic standard he held Yachiyo to, who felt suffocated by the myriad of training excercises and the sense of duty she had to take on.

When Yachiyo began her academy training, her abilities were more developed than most due to the diligent training she had received, much to the approval of her instructors. Her initially almost-prodigious status reinforced the perception of the Ōkashi's value to village, and alienated Yachiyo from her peers, which, in combination with the hostility between the castes, spelled a life of isolation for the young kunoichi.

Her clan, however, was pleased. Yachiyo was presentable and valuable. A gifted youngling, blessed with power, relentlessly perfected by a strict routine.

Continuing her education, the divide between Yachiyo and her competition melted. While she showed herself to be a competent student in most every depertment, the lead seemed to shrink. As more and more skills and techniques became requirements, Yachiyo found herself struggling with some of them, much to the delight of her peers and the distate of her family. In particular, her unrefined usage of the Invisible World techniques became a great source of distress, as it was paramount for utilizing the Mōragan fully. Her lone tutor, her grandfather, was a particularly strict and harsh man, who held none of the resentment he held for her back. These rigorous lessons planted guilt and despair in Yachiyo's heart over the fact that she was the first to inherit the dōjutsu, rather than her parents or siblings.

Unable to turn to anyone for anything - be it her drowning in work and expectation, the competition between her and her classmates, or her emotional state - Yachiyo was close to hitting rock bottom, when she met Yata. A crow with tiny wings - an outlier among the avians her family maintained such a close relationship with - seemed to instinctively take a liking to the girl, whom experienced a similar kinship. Though the summoning techniques which her family was famous for was a far-cry from realistic for the inexperienced kunoichi, her parents consented to the companionship, noting the energy it seemed to replenish for Yachiyo. The two became inseperable, which anchored Yachiyo and reestablished her as a gifted student.

Improving her general abilities continously with intense training, Yachiyo has matured, and perhaps hardened, but reaffirmed herself in the face of the daunting graduation.

Mōragan (網羅眼, Literally meaning: All-Encompassing Eye)

The Mōragan is an infrequently occuring dōjutsu unique to the Ōkashi clan. It is characterized by a black sclera with subtle swirls within the area, a bright white iris, and three pitch black pupils that are evenly spaced out across the width of the iris, with the center one being slightly larger than the other two. The Mōragan alters its wielders' perception so as to become aware of even minor chakra traces on an instinctual level, and trace them through their own chakra. They also register the absence of it more strongly. The Mōragan's tether, which continuously exchanges chakra, enables a variety of techniques only available to those who possess the eyes.

Yachiyo's analytical mind and intelligence make great use of her dōjutsu's visual abilities, passively perceiving and registering the information it grants. She is completely comfortable with them, as she has had the eyes since infancy. However, the advanced techniques are beyond her skill, in spite of rigorous training with her grandfather. Her ability is further restricted by her personal lack of large chakra reserves, limiting her rate of progress considerably.

Kekkei Genkai

Having had the dōjutsu since birth, Yachiyo is highly competent with the basic perceptive abilities of her Kekkei Genkai. This manifests particularly when used in conjunction with her weaponry or Yata, as it is very beneficial in highlighting the parasol's strengths as well as in improving coordination and deepening the bond with her animal companion. However, she struggles with many of the techniques of the Kekkei Genkai, and as such is far from mastering it.

Fūton

With an affinity for the Wind nature, Yachiyo is particularly comfortable with fūton jutsu. Aside from utitlizing common jutsus with great proficiency, Yachiyo also further weaves her wagasa into her combat ability, and employs Wind techniques in conjunction with her parasol for increased mobility or even the spread of helpful conditions, such as dust or ash.

Bukijutsu

Due to Yachiyo's is aptitude for Chakra Flow, which they are heavily aided (and sometimes substituted) by the Mōragan's innate chakra exchange ability, she has a natural edge on most shinobis and kunoichis of her age in the way of bukijutsu, being able to turn even her wagasa into a multi-faceted, deadly weapon. She is resourceful, and can turn most mundane objects into tools of combat, if needed.

A traditional oil-paper umbrella that was given to Yachiyo by her mother. The wagasa is a common weapon amongst the women of the Ōkashi clan, who integrate summoning scrolls into the material. Yachiyo's wagasa is made out of a contract that she is not able to use yet, and contains the kanji and decoratative designs of the red scroll. Yachiyo utilizes the wagasa in conjunction with Fūton techniques and Chakra Flow to enhance her mobility or control the battefield, or turn it into a makeshift weapon, if needed. Without the addition of Chakra Flow, the item is brittle, and prone to being burned, soaked, or slashed. Its ergonomics can also be a hindrance. - Yata is a small raven, and part of the murder the Ōkashi summon in battle. Somewhat of a pariah from its family due to its wingspan, Yata is an important aid to Yachiyo, able to serve as a distraction, informant, and aid in techniques. However, it is primarily a pet, rather than an integral part of Yachiyo's combat, and is easily frightened by "scary" things, making him an unreliable addition to Yachiyo's fighting capabilities. - A small pouch filled with ash that Yachiyo can use to litter the environment with easily-manipulated targets.

By using the Body Flicker Technique, a ninja can move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. - This technique is a specialty of Kirigakure ninja. Users fill the air with mist and control its thickness with their chakra.Once the mists are thick enough that opponents cannot see, that in turn means they cannot manage much defence against the user. Because Yachiyo can easily track opponents, this often basic technique is quite efficient. - This technique creates several ghost-like figures clad in black that emerge from the surrounding environment. Yachiyo employs this jutsu with Yata's help more often than not.

Yachiyo perceives Yata's vision through their tether, giving her a unique view on her surroundings. - - A Mōragan dōjutsu in which the user disrupts the target's chakra flow with a volatile burst of their own. While potent, the technique removes the Mōragan's tether. Yachiyo's mastery of this technique is limited, making the bursts weaker than they ought to be. - The user produces a powerful stream of wind from their mouth. - The user swings their weapon and a gust of wind is released in the arc that it was swung in.

The user exhales wind-infused chakra onto a weapon in order to increase its sharpness, range and lethality. For example, the user can infuse a kunai to resemble a makeshift scimitar or infuse shuriken to increase their range and cutting power. Yachiyo can apply this technique to her wagasa in order to turn the umbrella itself into a sawblade-like weapon. - A Mōragan dōjutsu with which the user siphons chakra from a tethered source. The Ōkashi are famed for this technique, as it synergizes well with their noticable chakra reserves. However, Yachiyo is unable to utilize this technique fully, due to her comparatively small chakra reserves as well as her not having mastered the technique in general. - Using their chakra or a ninja tool such as a war fan to manipulate or create an external source of wind, the user can create one to several blades of wind, which are capable of slicing through their target with ease.

A Mōragan dōjutsu. By planting chakra in particles in the air, the user can continuously flow their chakra back and forth, enabling their physical interaction. This serves as a means to hold onto or even walk atop, for example, specks of dust floating through the air. This technique requires little chakra, but excessive finesse and mastery. - A Mōragan dōjutsu. By manipulating the chakra exchange between user and target, the user can release chakra that they have sent from the target, allowing a wide-spread hail of shots to emerge from the environment. Though Yachiyo has trained to master this jutsu, she cannot yet use it. -
