Interesting and engaging concept, I like it!

Bit of a new roleplayer and part-time lurker if that's not discouraging, but I've got an character concept for this if it works.

The basic concept of it is a first or second year mystic with a Seraph's Kiss. Their first gift being something relatively simple, an elementalist that is attuned to manipulating earth and stone. While their second gift is an Astra, being able to hear, feel, and communicate with the spirits of the deceased as long as he is in the presence of their corpse.

This ability I was thinking could extend to the lifeless husks that are the Seraphim, and given one's presence defending the school he would be subject to communing with it while he's around the Seraphim Terrace.

Angle I'm thinking of would see him being somewhat reclusive and unstable due to his second gift, with maybe more impact given if his parents were mystic artificers that would have worked around Seraphim statues in the past.
