That would suck xD or having Maine in the process of getting up before falling over again lol. It seems like there'll just be more of a mess.

"Oh hey guys, just sliding in!"
@GingerBoi123

Well to help you too! I want him to help you too! Because you're currently getting beat up. Next to Maine. So helping Maine is helping Cali too.
@LetMeDoStuff

It's a Christmas miracle! xD

No, but I'm generally excited. Help the robots trying to kill Maine please and thank you, good buddy

Helping my character is nice, so I like it!
After looking down the hallway, Meleena froze as he saw the two figures, the man looking to be physically eating to poor girl laying on the floor. What the heck was happening? Were people cannibals now? She was going to go in to try to save her, but it looked like she was already dead. Besides, she really didn't want to bother the cannibal man. She certainly didn't want to be lunch. So, making sure she didn't mess with the flashlight, she used her own and shined it down the opposite hallway, seeing if she could make her way to the stairs.

She heard a lot of shuffling coming from the gall the other two were in as she picked up her pace, clutching her bat tight. Why was everything and everybody going crazy after that explosion? No power, a huge yellow flame, some guy eating a dead girl in the hall. Meleena almost puked, but kept trudging on as she simply knew she did not want to be anywhere near that shit.
@Sapphire I mean... the hard sound rifle sounds really cool, the whole hemorrhage thing and the great assassination skills. Making juice is cool too. But I personally prefer the anti-material rifle. I posted the description beforehand, but it's a tiny bullet that goes really fast and basically explodes flesh when it goes through people. Has also been known to go through office buildings, concrete pylons, etc. Oh and a built in computer.

So it's basically the smart quiet assassin sniper rifle versus the fuck you and the concrete wall you're hiding behind rifle. I like it
So, it seemed a lot of idiots were running around the battlefield. Freelancers were throwing grenades, shooting people, getting pelted by non-lethal bullets and being thrown around like rag dolls. Maine couldn't help them all out, but it wasn't life or death either. Besides, this was mainly about him showing off his skills.

Another shot ripped through a line of robots, taking apart at least three as the high velocity bullet ripped through them like butter, after carefully calculating the shot of course. Knowing it wasn't safe to stay there any longer, Maine picked up his rifle, stood up and starting sprinting to a new position.

"There seems to be a scuffle between your Freelancer Allies, 10 o'clock. It looks like they might want some sniper cover." Delta spoke, pointing over to where Ohio, California, and Washington were.

"Alright, I guess saving allies might score me points. Or at least brownie points with the others. Where's a safe place to set up where I can get a good angle?" Maine thought in his head, diving behind a barrier.

"20 meters to your right, you can lay down next to that wall there and get a good aerial view of the situation. It should provide decent cover as well."

Making sure the coast was clear, main jogged over to the spot, laying down prone with his tripod out as he settled into position. Breathing slowly out, Delta adjusted the computer on his sniper as Maine looked through the scope. It seemed Washington was picked up by a robot, before Ohio jumped on it's back and jammed a knife to it's throat. Now a robot was on her, a punch barely missing her.

Maine held his breath, his finger resting on the trigger as the reticule lined up dead center to the thing's chest. Right as he saw this, he noticed out of the corner of his scope that a robot was holding a grenade near California and Washington, looking to chuck it there way. He would have to make a decision... or would he?

He felt his heart rate slow, only the sound of his heartbeat was audible to him as he let a slow breath out. His finger hit the trigger, a bullet leaving the barrel aimed at the chest of the robot in front of Ohio. About a few milliseconds later, the reticule was moved and the computer adjusted by Delta as a second bullet ripped through the air.

Almost immediately after, the first bullet cut clean through the robot's chest, blowing it apart with it's head flying to the side as what was left of it dropped in a heap. A split second after a billet sailed narrowly past Washington and California, going through the grenade that the second robot was going to throw. It exploded in it's face, blowing off it's head, it's arm, and part of it's body as it got propelled backwards and on it's ass.

"Nice job Delta." He smirked, smoke curling from the silencer of the semi-automatic sniper as Delta turned around on his shoulder.

"Incoming." Was all he heard before he felt himself get picked up by his back, being hurled across the stadium and through a wall, his rifle spilling out of his hands a few feet away from him. He groaned, grabbing his head.

"Ouch... why didn't you say anything?"

"I said incoming."

"Yeah, right before he threw me through a wall."

"I am not physically capable of stopping that from happening, agent Maine."

"So I noticed..." Maine groaned, coughing as he slowly got up, the robot slowly marching towards him like a bad terminator movie.
@LetMeDoStuff

*cough cough* sniper *cough cough*
Wait what, he gives them out? What?

I THOUGHT WE HAD TO MAKE IT UP

MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE

12:12 AM

Meleena woke up with a start, nearly falling out of her bed as a loud explosion and a flash of light stirred her awake in her dorm. Clutching the blankets tight, she leaned over to the window to check outside.

"What the hell..."

A large yellow fire could be seen in the distance from the U Penn college dorm, burning brightly as many emergency vehicles were seen flooding to the scene. Was it some kind of terroist attack? Had a power plant blown up? Whatever it was, it was huge.

The even weirder thing was most of the lights in the whole city was dead. No street lights, and most of the buildings were completely devoid of light. Looking around her own room, her PlayStation and TV both didn't have a light on. It must have caused an EMP, or at least hit something to shit the power off for most of the city.

Meleena knew that staying there probably wasn't a good idea, as she got up and padded over to her closet. She was wearing a pair of white sweatpants with pink shorts underneath, a gray U Penn tank top that was soon covered by her leather jacket. She slipped her bare feet into her running shoes, stuffing her phone, keys, and wallet into her pocket.

Why hadn't the alarms went off? There was no evacuation effort, no voice coming over the intercom. The fire alarm was disabled yes, but there seemed to be no evacuation effort. At least, a coordinated one. Just then screaming could be heard in the distance, and Meleena instinctively grabbed her softball bat, reaching into a drawer for a small flashlight.

"Well... here goes nothing." She breathes out slowly, grabbing the door with the hand holding the flashlight as she slowly pushed it open. She didn't know where she was going yet, but she knew she couldn't just stay here.
