I guess it would be safe to assume your not coming back at this point, right? *Sadness*
"You know I think you are the only teacher other than myself, that has ever said that my class is an important one." She said, with a slight laugh.
Matthew couldn't help but smile. She was such a nice person to talk to, and it didn't hurt that she was gorgeous.
"Really? I think your class is probably the most important. I've seen Psychic's that abused their powers before..." He said, frowning slightly as he remembered all the many psychic's he used to know.
"If there is anyway we can teach the younger generation of Psychic's to take their powers more seriously and not to take their Cost so lightly I'm all for it."
Looking over at the clock on the wall he noticed the time. Even though he didn't really have to go to his office before the assembly he probably should at least find it.
"So, the headmaster showed me where my office was last week, but I kinda forgot how to get there. You wouldn't happen to know about a new mostly empty office would you?"
He asked, hoping for an escort.
Aiden couldn't help put smile when he heard she would be in the same hall as him. They would be living practically side by side. Just thinking about how close there rooms were together caused a few ideas that his father wouldn't approve of to pass through his mind.
Woah there lady killer. You just met her. She's probably just trying to be friendly.
Calm himself back down he still smiled when she mentioned finding their rooms.
"Ya, I don't know about you, but I could use some R&R before the assembly."
Aiden looked around and spotted a piece of paper taped to the front of an entrance to a hallway that said dorms and had an arrow pointing into the hall.
"Guess we go that way?" He said, half as a statement and half as a question.
heh, glad you like my writing. I'm a bit rusty to be honest, but I hope you find it entertaining.
Also, my laptop is not working this evening. (using my cell phone to write this....)
so I won't be able to reply tonight.
I do however have some ideas for you to look ovet.
kinda like evvents really.
1# A ball. ( like dancing and stuff. Maybe around christmas or new years?)
2# A date and/or trip to town. (could be fun.)
3# A blizzard!? (big freaking snowstorm. could be scary or fun either way it would be interesting.)
4# Seriel Killer? (Not super fond of this one, but it's a thought. Maybe just random attacks?)
5# And the cult finding us. (probably end of the RP type event honestly, so probably a ways in the future.)
so, love the ideas? Hate them? let me know.
And Matthew was asking diamond about his office as well so I don't know if you wanted to take him there or not, but if you did I was thinking about having them run into Marcus the headmaster.

EDIT: I read over the last couple of posts and edited mine to eliminate discrepancies. Hope you like.
Matthew frowned at the mention of a precog especially one with death visions. He knew a precog once that had visions like that.
She had ended up shooting herself in the head to stop the visions from happening.
Matthew had been there when she had done it and had tried to stop her. When he asked her why she was going to do it she simply said 'I already saw it happen.' And then pulled the trigger.

After she mentioned what she taught he added his thoughts.
"That's an important lesson to learn. They need to know that their Gifts come with a Cost."
Matthew thought about his own Cost as he mentioned that. And how much it terrified him.
"I'm sorry..." The petite redhead said looking up at him and blushing.
The way she looked made Aiden's heart start pumping a little faster than was comfortable, but he liked it.
Geez, get a hold of yourself. Try to not scare her off. And whatever you do don't be creepy.

"No problem." He said, giving a small smile as she grasped his hand.
Trying not to think to hard about the fact that this was the closest he had ever been to a cute girl his age
he instead focus and getting them through the crowd of people. With the constant flow of people it was tough
to move at all and at a couple points he had to practically pull her into his arms just to keep her from being
trampled by the swarm.

Once they reached the other side of the crowd and the relative calm of the sign in booth he let go of her hand.
All good things must come to an end I suppose... He thought as they walked up to the table together.
A bored teacher sitting at the desk handed them each a clip board and asked them to sign and print their
name and date of birth so she could give them there room numbers and keys.
After signing in she handed him a small post card with the number 89 on it and a key with the same number.
Looking over at her he saw she hand gotten her card and key as well.
"Well guess this is it. I got room 89. What number did you get?"
Yay! Glad you like my ideas. So what should we name the headmaster? Marcus? Marcus Devroux? Thoughts?

EDIT: Sorry if my IC posts are kinda sucky I wrote a big long post that was so beautiful it could have made be cry, but then my computer froze and I lost it all.
T.T
So, it might not be as pretty, but at least I got the basics down.
Matthew was wondering if you could help him find his office where the Headmaster will actually be waiting to talk with him and as for Aiden he got to spend some time with a
cute girl his age for the first time in his life and is sad to think it might not happen again. Poor guy.
"Diamond. Diamond Larsen. I have been teaching here since I was 22 years old." She said with a laugh.
Matthew smiled at that. She had a cute laugh.
"What are you here to teach Mr. Pierce?" She asked him after shaking his hand.
Rubbing the back of his neck he he let out a small laugh.
"I guess you could call it Understanding Psychic Anomalies. Something like that anyway. I think it's an optional class so I probably won't get to many students."
At least I hope not. he thought to himself, It's not like I'm used to this classroom teaching stuff...

"Though from what the headmaster told me I'll mostly just be doing counselling for any of the more troubled students."
After the cute redhead asked about where to find the information on rooms Aiden spied a small sign across the lobby on a table that said 'SIGN IN' on it.
"Well, I may be crazy, but I think that table over there might have our answer." He said point across the lobby and swarms of students. Looking down at the small girl he wondered if she would even be able to make it through that crowd to the table without getting trampled. She already looked kinda pale.
"Hey, follow me." He said holding out his hand. "We should be able to through this crowd if we stick together."
Matthew was sitting at one of the tables in the lounge enjoying his coffee rather than swallowing like he had been a moment ago. The main reason for this was that he had remembered he needed to be on campus by eight, but the assembly wasn't until ten. So even though he should probably drop by his new office before the assembly he had more time than he had originally thought.
While he was reclined in the semi-comfortable chair sipping coffee another teacher walked in.
What was her name again. Amanda? No, D something...Diane? Maybe...She doesn't look like a Diane...She's too good looking to be a Diane.
He silently watched her as she got a cup of coffee and leaned against the counter apparently either deep in thought or just as tired as he was.
Yay! Another coffee person. I'm finally among my people. He thought jokingly to himself.
Sipping some more of his coffee he let out a small sigh.
I should probably go ahead and get to my office... After thinking that he tried to remember where his office was. Or what floor it was on. Or if he needed to go left or right out of the break room.
Well, dammit. Guess I need to ask Diane for directions. No wait... Amanda? Whatever. Maybe she'll introduce herself.
Sighing he pushed his chair back and stood up. Tossing the foam cup into the trash he walked up to the other teacher.
First impressions can never be taken back Matt, make this one good. He thought to himself as she looked up at him. Man, she was short.
"Hey, I'm a new teacher here. Matthew Pierce." He said, holding out his hand for her to shake.
Just as Aiden had made it up to the guy handing out the fliers a back pack hit him right in the side.
"Ack!" He blurted out before he could stop himself.
Wow, super manly there Aiden. Way to make a first impression.
"Oops, I am so sorry!" the cute red head he had seen moments before said before she blushed and grabbed her bag pulling it closer to her.
"No problem, you just kinda surprised me." He said, while trying not to rub his side.
What does she have in that bag? Bricks? Bowling balls?
"You trying to find out how to get to a room too?" He asked smiling as he tried to make up for his super manly first impression.
haha, I understand. I've done that myself before. And I'm glad you like my headmaster idea. Probably my best idea in a RP ever.

EDIT: And also I suppose the students will go to some table set up in the lobby to find out which room they are given and get a key. Then I imagine they have a few hours to settle in before the first assembly thingy?
Also, I'm going to have Matthew ask Diamond about finding his office since he is still new here. Another idea I had was that there is no smoking no campus(which is how it is at my college.) And Matthew is a smoker, though in his defense he is trying to quit.
Glad we're on the same same page yet again. No roomies.
Also, I had an idea for the Headmaster I hope you like. Here is my idea in a nut shell.
Morgan Freeman+Powerful Precog Abilities!
What do you think? Part of my idea about him being able to see the future I hope to tie in later in the story. Maybe.
Matthew woke up to his phone buzzing on the nightstand. Groaning quietly he brushes his hands around the nightstand til he comes in contact with it.
Looking at his phone it shows 7:30.
"Wait...", He blink a few times and rubs his face. "Why seven thirty?"
After a few moments of pause his eyes open wide. School.
"That's today!" Rolling out of bed onto the floor he scrambled to his feet. He had to be in his office in thirty minutes to welcome new students and whatever else the headmaster was wanting him to do. Which seemed excessive honestly. The first day of school was tomorrow after all, why not wait til then?
Shaking his head he went into his rather small bathroom and quickly undressed before hopping into a cold shower.
After several expletives about how cold the water was and some quick scrubbing he jumped out and dried off.
Heading into his bedroom he quickly dressed in one of his nice pairs of jeans and a gray long sleeved shirt before grabbing his old jacket. Look at his phone it says 7:50.
"Ten minutes. Just enough time."
Heading for the door he spots his pack of cigarettes on the shelf by the door. Standing there for a second he grabs them.
"Just in case."
Heading out the door while stuffing the cigarettes in his jacket pocket he quickly heads to the teachers lounge.
" I need to get a coffee maker in my room so I don't have to go down two flights of stairs with out coffee." He mumbles while quickly shuffling down the steps.
After a short jog across the school grounds he makes it to the academy proper. heading in the back he makes it to the teachers lounge only to find he is the only one here.
"Huh, guess everybody else is out doing the meet and greet." Looking at the clock it says 7:56 now.
"Just enough time for coffee. yay." He says with little joy. Setting up the coffee maker he waits as it starts making.
While it is in progress he thinks over the last couple weeks. It was crazy to think he went from working as a cook at a chinese buffet to being a counselor at an academy.
He had hardly believed it when the headmaster had asked him to come work here, but all he had said was 'I have a feeling your just the man we need.'
Bit creepy, but from what he had seen before Precogs always were a bit odd. Still at least it was just counselling. He was a good listener not to mention he had helped other psychics he had met to learn to control there powers better.
Just as he was mulling over the past the coffee maker dinged letting him know the coffee was done.
grabbing a cup and some sugar he pour himself some coffee and took a drink.
"Now I can counsel people." He said somewhat jokingly to himself as he continued to drink.
Aiden made good time up the hill among all the other students.
"Excuse me, sorry." He said quickly passing people on his way up. He couldn't understand why they were so slow and dis-interested. They were about to start learning about there Gifts and how to better control them. For Aiden this was the best day he had had in a long time. After living with his father in the middle of nowhere hiding from pretty much anything and everything moving to an actually town like New Fort and starting a real school was a god send. He knew why his father was worried about him after his mothers death, but hiding wouldn't help. This place would. not to mention the girls here were really cute. Shaking his head he tried to focus, but hey he was still young. he could live a little right?
Seconds after he finished those thoughts he made it to the Academy doors and pushed them open. Stepping inside he saw several more students mulling around.
Looking around he spotted a red head near by.
Cute. He thought to himself before remembering he wasn't here to sight see. Though he wished he was.
Looking around some more he spotted someone wearing a staff t-shirt handing out flyers about as un-energetically as possible.
"That guy probably knows something." He said more to himself than anyone around him. Re adjusting his bag he headed over.
