Eclipse wasn't completely finished gathering energy for his attack when the other being blasted him in the eyes with the red energy. The winged paladin cried out angrily as the red light blinded him and knocked him of balance. His own light, he threw forth, hoping to at least hit where he had seen his opponent last.

He managed to hit the man's helmet, breaking it blinding him as he fumbles around trying to remove it.

Eclipse grasped the hilt of his weapon defiantly as the being clenched his gauntlet over its blade. The half-angel gasped in reaction as the man suddenly and forcefully snapped the blade at its forte. Eclipse's sword was a part of him, and its breaking was like a deep wound and pierced him to his soul. Little time did he have to recover from the unexpected shock before a fist was coming at him, fast. Weakened though he may have been, he was still quick, alert, and of celestial blood. Eclipse dodged the attack and responded with one of his own. Calling instinctively upon his goddess for aid, he threw his body into a body punch against the armored foe, stopping his momentum. As some distance opened between them, he called out, "Until the end!" He began charging up a blast of bright light energy.

"Power gauntlets!" He roars, as a quick blast of red energy hits him square in the eyes, intending to blind him, or knock them out.

Faster than the demonicly armored being Could react, Eclipse had his swordpoint at his throat. Eclipse's eyes have a glow of their own, vivid white, and a powerful sense of strength radiates from him. "Never... will I drop my weapon before my enemy. Cower before the Herald of righteousness, fiend! The sins of you and your master have been totaled. You will pay the price of succumbing to disorder and hate."

The man reaches forward, and grabs the blade at his throat. His giant hand, clad in the demonic metals, move the blade away from his throat, by twisting the blade, snapping it off at the handle.
"Then I will gladly beat you until you are unable to fight back." The large figure says, before striking Eclipse with a balled up fist.
((He will get his sword back later, as good as new.))

A faint orb shield around himself, Eclipse begins healing the burns.

As he does, a large figure, clad in demonic armor stands before him. Its eyes are simply red, and its breath smells of death.
"By order of the emperor, I demand you drop your weapon, and come with me." He says. His voice is deep and imposing.

Asura snuggles closer "....""Yeah maybe so." I say"Not really my style but it's real food!" She says as she eats

She keeps smiling, before falling asleep in his arms.

"I killed those trees...but there are still more...so many more...." He says.

I leave, and after a few minutes return with a plate of fried potatoes and onions, with some bacon chunks thrown in.
"Here you go madam." I say, bowing a little as I hold the plate out with one hand, and a fork and spoon with the other.

Asura hugs her tighter and enjoys the moment"You can't let them get to you man." I say"Anything that actually tastes like food." She says "I've been living off of rats for weeks."

Maka kisses him, her eyes still closed.
