However, even as Mathew was thinking of the details of just how this effect worked and admiring just how different the science behind this different technology was, he was interrupted by the Angel from before, who loudly shouted his name. Instead, they were simply next to Eclipse instantly, as if they were free to ignore the constraints of space in their mindless servitude, and their weapons were already at the necks of both combatants. While not powerful enough to rend the soul of an angel, these blades would most certainly tear through flesh and bone. A constant humming could be heard, a blue light encasing the blades, and it took a little time to realize that this was caused by the blades slicing open the very air molecules that touched them. The Portal Matrix activated itself, the quantum particles spinning with enough force to bend space itself, creating a loop in the space-time continuum that allowed him to teleport his troops at short range. Below him was a Clone World, and he was fully prepared to conquer it using force if it became necessary.
The clone emperor moves to press the button, but stops.
