The creature fails to notice while it attempts to attack. How ever at one moment it seems to go into a rage moving at nearly twice its old speed for a few moments rapidly slashing at stine.

"Souls....a good snack." The creature says as it licks its lips. It starts to head after stine. I am sitting atop the door watching the battle unfold.

The explosions are contained in purple fields seeming suspended in time.
"You have five seconds agent. We have our weapons trained on you. You can't run." The woman says.

The creature remains. Stine can sense it doesn't need a soul. It is almost like the creature isn't organic.
